I see online that many businesses use the 3% surcharge as a scam but this place goes beyond that to 3.5%. If you plan on getting your car serviced here, ASK about credit card surcharges BEFORE any work is done so you have the option to either go somewhere else or pay with cash. read more

I brought my 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T here for an engine light warning to be diagnosed. It was determined that a cylinder 3 misfire was found and the reason was Cam and Lifter Failure. I was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. A remanufactured engine was installed as well as many other required parts. The final bill came to just over $19,000.00. I picked the car up Saturday June 21, 2025, I drove it 22 miles and noticed the engine light came on. I brought it right back to the dealership that same Saturday I picked it up. I Informed Julie that the engine light was on again. I heard nothing Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I decided to stop in to inquire on the engine light. At that time I was told when they attempted to start my car Tuesday morning, the engine started to make noise and the connecting rod smashed through the oil pan. I was then informed by the service department that it may not be covered under warranty because of after market parts that were used from my old engine, more specifically, the coil packs and cold air intake. That is a poor excuse to try to worm out of a warranty, coil packs and air breathers have zero connection to crankshaft failure and furthermore, if those parts were questionable with regard to a warranty, why did the mechanic install them in the first place. It goes without saying that if my car is not repaired to the condition for which I have already paid for, I will as certain as the sun will rise be contacting an attorney that deals with car dealerships specifically who rip off and defraud their customers. I will pursue this legal action regardless of the personal cost to me. All I ask for is that I get the new engine that I paid for then I will be happy to edit this review. I have to start off by saying that my situation may not reflect what they can do for everyone! I have, lets say, not the best credit, and I was upfront with Giancarlos about that from the start. But, unlike any other place I went to, he didn't treat me like I was just a commission check and tell me he couldn't help, which is what I was used to hearing. He walked around the lot with me for a few minutes asking some questions, trying to get a feel for what I wanted in a car, and then made some suggestions. Test drove a Sentra which we figured would get me into my price range and it was just a bit too small. He suggested an Altima which we took two out for test drives and I fell in love. After a little disappointment of being told a down payment a lot higher than what I expected wouldnt work, and the monthly payments being almost double what I could afford. We talked while the finance manager and sales manager scrambled to help me with financing. Which to my surprise, ended up coming back with my down payment only being slightly higher than I expected and my payments actually being a little lower than I was originally planning on spending, and on top of that, I got a car that was one year newer than I originally test drove. an all around great experience, and even with the small financing issue, it turned out amazing and actually went super smooth! read more

They made me wait 4+ hours. Then they told me they could not find AFTER MARKET parts!!! Why were you looking for aftermarket parts after promising me you had parts in stock?? Ron Bouchards promised they would fix it the next day. Gave me a loaner. After waiting again in the waiting room. They told me it was fixed. Then, only at "check out" was I told it was a USED PART they installed. When confronted they offered an insulting dollar payment..... and NEVER actually apologized. Bought a Honda Accord from them a few years ago and was less than pleased with their service. At the time I resided in Rhode Island and it took them over a week to register my car in Rhode Island because they insisted on being the ones to do it rather than just giving me the car after I signed the papers on it and letting me do it in one day. They actually drove the car right past my apartment (at which point I thought they were dropping it off but no it wasn't to be) and then denied that they had. Honestly how many other green 1999 Honda Accords with Ron Bouchard's window stickers would there be cruising around Woonsocket, RI? Then they gave me some bs line about Woonsocket not having a DMV branch (they did at the time of purchase) and having to drive the car to the main branch in Pawtucket. Great more miles on my car. When they finally gave it to me they met me on the side of Route 146 (coincidentally right across from Majestic Honda who I probably should have used in the first place), not at my apartment. All in all it was a lot of headache for something that could have been accomplished in an afternoon. read more

Continued to do so after saying no I am all set, when I considered and was reading over plan she talked my ear off to try and distract me from the flaws. Vehicle failed inspection for two cracked tires in the thread. Called all numbers and corporate website provided to get in touch and no answers. When I did get an answer eventually after several attempt they refused to fix it and I had to pay out of pocket somewhere Overall questionable on how proper there business is read more

I was treated horribly the second I drove off the lot after purchasing a vehicle. They charged me $172 for diagnostic fee when I had already purchased their $2400 extended warranty. Not only did they quote me $900 for a clockspring (said to not be covered) but they also told me it needs brakes and rotors (another $900). I originally brought the car in for a rattling front end and dash lights. They fixed nothing and charged me for diagnostics even though I was told early that day by the sales manager I would NOT be charged as my extended warranty clearly stated $0 deductible. Found out from a GOOD dealership that it was under a recall and that they would fix it free of charge and did so. A simple VIN search would have told them this instead of fighting not fixing it and charging me for diagnostics. They also blatantly lied as I pulled the tires and found the pads had 3/4 life and rotors were fine! In doing that I found also a missing brake clip which was the cause of the rattling. They failed to find that, didn't fix the clockspring and the. Charged me $172 after saying I wouldn't be and cited that they fixed the noise complaint by putting a zip tie on the fender wall. So if your looking to get scammed and pay $172 for a zip tie and a warranty that does nothing GO THERE! Also the day I bought the car from them I noticed a small crack in windshield and brought it up to the guy who sold me the vehicle and was told it would be fixed. It also was not fixed and when I came in days later to get an inspection from them when I mentioned it the lady doing inspections was extremely rude for no reason and said that I could have done that. Definitely bad news. I got a confirmed price via email, went into the dealer, had it confirmed by the sales guy after only a little fuss, worked out all the numbers - this took hours, and was a little lower on the trade than I wanted, but was otherwise ok. Yet more hours later, I finally got in to see the finance guy, who tells me the financing deal that I saw online and was confirmed by the sales guy is not available, fills out all the paperwork on his computer, we pick another deal that is worse but does have the rebate. Then I notice by reading his screen that he's jacked the sell price of the vehicle by the amount of the rebate, without telling me. it's now 3+ hours after I came in planning to buy this particular car at this particular price He gets the manager involved, who tries to back out and tell me that the price was only confirmed with the rebate as part of the price, tells the finance guy he's wrong about me having to take the worse financing deal, tries to play on my sympathy that he would lose money on the deal, they're both being pushy and salesy-aggressive... so i walked out. I want the car, but I didn't need it yesterday, and I try not to do business with bs artists. I'll try someplace else. In response to Bree's comment below, edited to add: The email did NOT mention the rebate. It DID mention Nissan financing, and perhaps they MEANT that that financing included a rebate they were applying to the price, but it was not stated and clearly not understood by me or the sales guy. read more

Not the pits as far as dealerships go but still pretty darn sleazy Went for required oil change on my 2011 Honda today. Reasonably quick service, clean waiting area, polite customer service, but don't let these guys sell you anything until you research the price online. I was told I needed to replace two air filters. Cost: $110. Said no thanks and went online to Bernardi Honda Parts and ordered me the pair of genuine Honda filters for about $50 including shipping. Ron Bouchard tried to charge me more than double the RETAIL MSRP price - that's just too greedy. read more

With all do respect to the hardworking members of the service department, myself and my family will no longer be able to continue our relationship with Ron Bouchard's. After the excellent and courteous service they have provided I'm disappointed to take my business elsewhere. It's unfathomable to think that such a respectable business would think so lowly of their customers as to gouge them with outrageous services costs. I'm all for paying to have quality work done but hardworking staff. But to charge a repeat customer $538 on labor alone for new brake pads and rotors on a modern sedan, especially without providing a quote prior to performing the work, is absolutely unacceptable. I would never have expected to be taken advantage of by Ron Bouchard's Autos based on my past experiences, yet I can't rationalize recommending their services to anyone after this last visit. I have been bringing my wife's car there for over a year, seems EVERY time it was brought in for service they broke something else on the car. Brought in for an alternator, they broke the splash shield. Brought in for timing belt, they broke oil line on turbo( they fixed this no charge).brought it in for a oil leak after they fixed the oil line. Was told it was the oil filter. Charged me for 7 quarts of oil for an oil change (car only takes 4 1/2 qts) refunded the difference when i called them out on it. Brought it in for a timing belt. They stripped a bold and stuck it in with silicone. Now the latest was $700 for a transmission cpu and a battery. I was told the car was "all set" Car lasted about 2 hours driving time after the repair. Started making a screeching noise. Brought back to dealer. Now they are telling me another $5000 in parts to fix the car. When i said the car wasn't worth putting $5000 into it they offered me $500 for it on trade in plus the 700 i just put into it. Are they serious? Save yourself the headache. You would be better off bringing your car to the zoo and letting inbred chimpanzees fix it read more

I am currently looking to get a new car, and when they ran the car fax on my vehicle for trade value, it came up as "true mileage unknown". This was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I contacted the dealership on a Wednesday and asked them to run my credit app to confirm I qualified for the promo 0% interest rate... 5 days later and NOT A PEEP!!!! I've tried following up... NOTHING! I even tried doing the on-line chat and after a few minutes of back and forth the Rep. just decided to ignore me and never replied back! Vehicle was over priced, they wouldn't come down on price, they low balled us with our trade in saying it was worth 4500 when we were quoted 6500 from other dealerships and got that for it. Not pleased with their service department. I bought a brand new RAM 1500 in 2017. Around 1 year in (2 months ago) the check engine light came on due to a fuel sensor failure, and I brought it in for service. Today I am back for the fourth time in 7 weeks because of a check engine light. I have spent many hours and put many miles on my truck and my wife's car just getting the thing back and forth. I'm very disappointed that they cannot seem to fix my truck properly and keep sending me away without actually fixing the issue. read more

Not a Positive Buying Experience! We purchased a vehicle (Nissan Murano) from this dealership about a year ago. We ended up buying the car because we liked it and after a lot of negotiation the price was right. What we didn't like was the sales technique. Every cliché in the book. They played the good-cop, bad-cop. They played the "let me go talk to my sales manager" (several times). One example was our trade-in. A very nice condition Cadillac Escalade (this vehicle had been babied by my father in Nevada, so not even any undercarriage rust). We had looked up the trade-in value and knew that it had a trade-in worth of about $20,000. They started the negotiation at $13,000. We had to laugh at them. At the end of the day they somehow found another $7,000 that they could give us on our trade-in but it was ridiculous that we had to spend so many days going back and forth and playing all of these games when they could have given us a fair price to begin with. The sales manager was also the stereotype of a greasy salesman. Another very strange thing is that none of the sales representatives have computer systems. This makes everything take a lot longer and wastes our time. We asked about this and we were told that the owner doesn't want computers because he wants the sales reps to "connect" with the customer. I think he just doesn't want to spend the money for a networked computer system. read more

Bought a Mazda CX-5 From Jimmy E. Great salesman, never once was pushy and got me the best deal possible with his sales manager.

We bought a used Honda Van from the Kia store 5 months ago. The salesman was very helpful and not at all pushy but that is where the positives end. To begin with it took us a whole week to buy the car because the financial office kept saying that the paperwork wasn't ready. Then when we finally went to sign we still had to wait 2 1/2 hours to sign only to find out that the man in the financial office had charged us for things we didn't want. I then had to return the car within a week because the electric door wouldn't open and the battery had died twice on me. Mind you this wasn't a cheap used car it was 2011 deluxe model with low miles. I now find out 5 months later that the car was sold to me with dangerously bad breaks that probably wouldn't have passed inspection had I brought it to any other place. When I caledl to speak to the service department the woman I've spoken to twice now is rude and even hung up on me today. I've really tried to reserve judgment but when you pay over $30,000 for a used car you expect a little better service! read more
