After two weeks of looking for a car and being harassed by pushy sales people, it was a relief talking to Mike and Rob. They took the time to get to know me and once we settled on the car we wanted and the price, everything else was smooth sailing. They took care of all the paper work and even took some time to get the car serviced (even subtle details like changing the batteries in the key fobs) and washed. But what impressed me the most was that they decided to have the brakes serviced before I went and picked it up because they were getting worn (they likely would have lasted me 5-10 thousand miles). A lesser dealer would have just swept that under the rug. The car had been great ever since and really was a great deal. Several years ago, my brother told my son, who was in the market for a car, to check out R.C. He and I went and were greeted by Mike, one of the 2 owners. My son told him his budget and Mike helped him to find the perfect, affordable car. He spent time with him and gave him lots of tips on maintenance and upkeep. Fast forward to today when my husband and I purchased our new car from R.C. We went to look around the lot on the weekend and found one that stood out to us. Mike was there and my husband spoke with him for a bit about the car and life in general. Very pleasant to talk to. We went back the next day to test drive the car and loved it, so we bought it. Bob, the other owner and Mike's brother finalized our sale for us. Talk about a nice guy! Both Mike and Bob treated us like family, being extremely down to earth and we knew just by the way they spoke about their business, that they weren't bs'ing us at all. No pressure whatsoever. Bob told us how the car dealership was his dads (who they have a picture hanging up of, reminding them of their dads' approach to selling...no pressure) and how much he missed him. I think both brothers have done their dad proud, that's for sure. Bob walked us through all the paperwork, which was a little confusing because we hadn't purchased a vehicle in a long time. He answered all our questions and gave us a lot of tips on how to maintain and keep the car in great shape. We spoke about a lot of things, and it was as if we were talking to our family members. Never once were we pressured into buying anything they had on the lot. They let us know that if we needed anything, to let them know. I purchased a Honda Shadow from Robert at RC Motors. When I originally called, he was at an airport in Florida, flying back to MA. This was on a Sunday. The bike was listed for a great price, and others similarly priced that I had found online were all sold by the time I inquired about them. He told me he could probably meet me at 8, but to text him at 6 to make sure we were still on. Not wanting to miss this deal, I rented a Uhaul (as they close at 5) and crossed my fingers that he would still be up for meeting me when I texted him. Fortunately, he was still up to sell me a bike after traveling all day. This was my first motorcycle, and I had a checklist of things to look for, but, besides that, I was utterly clueless about bikes. Robert patiently went over all the bike's features with me, even to the point of telling my companion how to properly mount and position herself for when I take her on rides. So, I bought the gorgeous bike which was over $1000 under NADA suggested retail. When I went to load the bike, I discovered the 10' box truck I had rented didn't have a ramp! Ugh! Luckily, Robert found a plank and assisted me with loading it. We ended up having to load it off the elevated bit of the parking area next door, but we managed. He also then assisted me in how and where to appropriately hook and secure the bike to the inside of the Uhaul. He even gave me the plank for whatever my plan to get the bike off at my home was (that was an adventure). I've been riding the bike for a week now and have put 200 miles on it. I haven't had a mechanic look at it yet, but it's been running beautifully and passed inspection without any issue. Overall, I had a very positive experience acquiring my first bike from RC Motors. While doing a search for pre - 2007 Jeep Wranglers, I found this place. Turns out that the vehicle that I was looking at was the owners personal vehicle. Needless to say, he was very proud of the Jeep, and WOW, should he be! My wife and I were completely skeptical about the vehicle going in to the deal, figuring that the pics were taken a long time ago. This Jeep is mint! Even with 145k miles on it. The owners (Robert and Mike) explained why the vehicle had zero northeast rust on it. They travel to Florida every two weeks, and pay to have rust free / well cared for vehicles shipped up to the NE. Update: THE ONLY GOOD REVIEW ON HERE IS FROM ONE OF THE OWNERS THEMSELVES. Don't be fooled. The owner has been texting me over and over telling me to take this post down OR to edit the post and write "Owner compensated me. He was a good dealer after-all!" and offered me $75 cash to take it down after texting me all day while I was trying to work. I have put in over $2,500 into my car and again, my check engine light is now on again and he expects texting me non stop for days in a row offering me 75 dollars will let me take this AD down so others will make the same mistake I have. I bought a car from them back in March and it has had problems ever since. I let them know about the check engine light being on and that my gas gage was broken and they took it to a shop and fixed the gas gage but did nothing to fix whatever was wrong to cause the check engine light being on. He was very pushy about doing it when was good for HIM and I had to miss college classes. They took it again to put a sticker on it and told me not to worry about the light and that it's probably fake because they "hit something in the car" while fixing the gas gage and OF COURSE the light came back on days later. They repeated this process and my check engine light is now on again. Claiming they just "hit something" causing the check engine light to be a false alarm. My car needed over 2,500 dollars in repairs. My mechanic days later had proceeded to tell me that the car has been sitting for w very long time and looks very "sketchy" underneath and was unsafe to drive but luckily he's a great mechanic and fixed it up for me. The people selling the vehicles are very pushy and very adamant on letting you know that they're "trustworthy" and will sell you a great car by showing you "thank you" notes they've received from former customers. I know feel taken advantage of. I recommend taking your hard earned money elsewhere and purchasing a quality used car elsewhere. read more
