I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Lahti's in Leominster MA. We purchased a new vehicle from them May 2025 and have had poor service from the get go. There is no communication from them. We asked if needed a bank check or anything to complete the sale. No one got back to us. After the purchase they said they would call us when we can bring the jeep in for an inspection sticker. No one got back to us. We were told the registration would be sent to us. We have not received it still. We've called and emailed them to find out more information. No one got back to us. This dealership makes the process of buying a new car even more difficult than it has to be. I cannot recommend using them for any future car needs. read more

I've called multiple times and promised a call back to no avail. Where should I begin... I purchased a new jeep three months ago with a broken windshield that I mentioned multiple times and was told the manager would call me back... they didn't.... I also mentioned I never bought a vehicle without a packet with the copy of the loan agreement... which I still don't have. Furthermore, I never got a copy of the extra 35$ a month coverage I got through Lahtis as if I never even purchased anything... never in a million years would I purchase another vehicle from this place or recommend any of my friends or family! 50k and I get the old he haw!! read more

Aggressive, pushy salespeople. They were priced well above the average and their "negotiation" was moving numbers around to give the false impression that they were moving on the price. 5 big ones for Lahtis Jeep. I used to deliver Ed Lahtis Sunday paper as a kid. I never bought a brand new car until I was 53 years old. Lahtis have been a staple in Leominster on central st since I was a kid. my dads service station used to buy all his jeep and AMC parts from them when I was running parts for my dad. Then Ron Booth happened this guy can do it all finance service sales he's done it all and he's a great person as well BONUS. I bout a 2018 wrangler unlimited JL loaded special order just for Steve. 4 years later with 30,000 miles I can still get what I paid. Bought my used 2013 Jeep Wrangler in January 2018. When I bought it there was a heat issue, there wasn't any. I bought the vehicle anyway, because the salesman Markeis, said they would stand behind their vehicles, new or used. He also made an appointment for the heater repair. A week later it was in, for repair, under warranty. I must add, one of the best 100% coverage warranties for a used vehicle. The heat is now running hot and fantastic and these frigid days we've been having are no different in my wrangler than in my pickup. Sales and service are top notch here. read more

On January 12 I entered into a legal contract and left a deposit with Lahti Jeep regarding the ordering of a 2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicle. They had given me a purchase price of XXXXX. Today, 9 days later, I received a call from the salesman saying that we had "a small problem". When they put my order in the day after I signed the paperwork (January 13), they found out that "the color I wanted is no longer being made and all of the prices of the options had increased overnight". They did not call me to tell me this until 9 days later because "the salesman was going on vacation so the owner waited until he got back to tell him so his trip wasn't ruined". Once the salesman told me about the above issues, they said that they could order me the jeep in a different color with all of the same options for almost 2600 more than originally agreed on!! I refused to pay that price. It was not my fault that they did not know prices had gone up and we had agreed on a set price. We had signed the order agreement and they took my deposit. The salesman came back, acknowledged that everything had been "locked in", and then offered to sell it to me for 5$$$$, their "invoice cost" for the inconvenience. Ok so an update on my previous review. When I left that day they covered my lifetime deductible to have the rear defrost and replacement glass fixed. Because it had been previously documented. So that was good. After returning home our radio/gps/u-connect stopped working. I was hoping maybe something got unplugged so called back and got an appointment a few days later. Upon inspection it was just poor timing that it crapped out and they have ordered a replacement that's covered under our extended lifetime warranty. They (Erik)even offered to pay our deductible. So long story short it would appear that their service department is moving in the right direction and theirs hope. read more

Almost two months into it now and I'm still getting the runaround, no one knows what's wrong, no one's called me back. Horrible communication here. With everyone, from sales to service. My wife and I bought a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee this past winter. Six months into ownership we're already on warranty repair #3. Yesterday the vehicle had to be towed to a different dealership as Lahti wouldn't pay for the extra towing charge (Chrysler covers 17 miles). When I asked Lahti service why, I was told, "We didn't build the vehicle." Nice customer service, huh? Yeah, we're done with Lahti. If Lahti/Chrysler believed in their vehicles they'd up my warranty from 36,000 to 72,000. I'm not holding my breath on that one. Expect many more repairs to come. First and last Chrysler. Do yourself a favor and buy a Toyota. We have had two Fore Runners and a Sequoia. Got 324,000 miles from the Sequoia, original transmission to the end. Life of the vehicles were just routine maintenance (i.e. oil, tires, brakes, etc). read more

I did not buy my Jeep here I bought it at Savadore. My car is barely 2 years old so the work I needed was covered under warranty. I called my dealership where I not only bought this car but my last 4 or 5 cars and they couldn't even look at it for a week. Even knowing it was my only vehicle and I have to work and get my kids to school. I called Lahti's and not only could they get it in ASAP the next morning it was fixed by 10:30 am! On top of squeezing in an oil change with it! They have amazing customer service and I appreciate them getting my car in and back to me right away so I could work and take car of my family! I purchased a 2012 wrangler from them about 3 years ago and have had several issues. Aside from a missing bolt causing the crankshaft sensor to malfunction I was also told by the sales associate that I could ignore the traction control light that came on during the test drIve and almost every subsequent trip and never thought anything about it. Until this past month which it's been at a different dealership for service. When I told the mechanic I was told to ignore the light by Lahti's he explained that my tires were not rotating properly and proceeded to call Lahti's Jeep a bunch of idiots. I have had very negative thoughts about Chrysler because of the amount of service it's needed until I heard that. Now I'm thinking there have just been residual problems causing more problems over the years. read more

Avoid this establishment at all costs. I originally was quoted " 1000 dollars" for time spent investigating why my vehicle would not start. I actually googled this issue and communicated what I had learned. I was then told that it would be almost 4 k to fix an electrical problem. My vehicle is only 3 years old with 50 k miles. Needless to say after three weeks I still did not have my vehicle back . I brought my Jeep to Lahti's for service after having a very disappointing experience where I purchased it. Issue was leaking (carpets ) - which was supposedly fixed by the other dealer. The Service manager and my interactions with the people at Lahti's could not have been better! The manager acknowledged that the car was indeed still leaking, and that the carpets most likely needed to be replaced. (Jeep still under warranty) They also informed me that the rental car for the 3 day repair job, would be covered through warranty. (My previous interaction with where I bought it would not cover a rental and the $$$ was out of my pocket). Needless to say, the repairs were done, and they really do provide great service. 1/8/2020 The car I wanted to look at wasnt at dealer the morning I went to see it, an employees son was using the car as a loaner. Drove another Cherokee, fell in love with the model and signed papers on the one being used as a loaner. Signed papers around 5PM, London a manager comes over to verify Diannes paperwork and says "someone else is coming to look at the car". There's no need to lie and make someone uncomfortable while they were signing papers physically purchasing the vehicle. That's unacceptable. Got the car home next day, got harassed by Diane L asking to write a review for them 3 times by text and email. January 27th Glad I held off, less than 3 weeks of having the car it was making such a loud squealing noise I could hear it from inside my home, call them immediately and was told there were no openings. After 5-10 call backs fighting with Ron and Jaime I got an appointment for the car to be looked at. When asking for a loaner Diane L actually asked me why I needed a loaner. Well I live in Clinton, and am not walking home from Leominster, on the highway. How would I have gotten to work? 1/30/2020 3 days the car is at Lathis supposedly being worked on, I had to call and then found out they sold me a car with a faulty water pump. No update was given to me when the problem was found. 2/1/2020 Another few days goes by without hearing from anyone, I call again. Find out the Water Pump house adapter needs to be replaced too. My cars been there a week now, I call and speak to Jason Fournier the manager. After voicing my concerns, he claims "this happens all the time". And says "my family has plenty of money, were not here to take yours". Also tells me "oh your car was actually ready yesterday, we forgot to call you". You shouldn't be that entitled when you can't even run a business. Over $1,000 worth of work put into the car and a few days later- 2/6/2020 car starts making same noise. Dropped off immediately, was told by Ron service manager that a belt was replaced last time, which I was never told. Now the tensioner/tension rod and pulley systems are being replaced too. Car they gave me as a loaner while mine was "being fixed" had a crack in the windshield. Seems everything on their lot is faulty/falling apart. London, Diane L, Ron and Jason gave me the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I truly wish I had purchased a vehicle elsewhere. read more

We brought our jeep here for recall service that needed to be done at a dealership and we brought a coupon for a $30 oil change. It ended up costing over $700 (I don't know the exact amount. My husband was too upset to tell me.) They said there was an oil leak issue that needed immediate attention. There was no oil on the floor of our garage, or on our driveway and no alert light came on. I feel totally scammed since there was no evidence of an oil issue. Our vehicle gets serviced regularly, but not there, and our alert lights always work if oil is low. I hope I am wrong and they saved us from some sort of disaster, though we were given no evidence of it. This service recall visit was definitely a disaster to our limited budget. read more

Buying a new car is easy. Using Consumer reports Buying Service, I come up with a price and the first dealer to agree to that price gets my business. It has always worked. Buying a used car is different. Each used car is unique: mileage, year, condition, color, accessories, etc. The dealer knows this, and that's why the margin on used cars is so much higher than on new. I was looking for a specific car, a used Honda Accord coupe with a V6. They were out there, but I had to travel to find them. One day a new listing from Lahti's (BBB rating = A+) appeared on Edmunds.com, so I called and spoke to Andrew, arranging a test drive. The car was in terrific condition. The asking price (plus taxes, doc fees, etc.) was a bit higher than my budget, so I made an offer. They made a very reasonable counter offer, but still higher than I wanted to pay. I thanked Andrew and left. On the way home I called the missus and we decided to take their offer, pending an independent inspection. When I showed up to take the car to a local Honda dealer for the inspection, they were working on the brakes. Unfortunately, the work couldn't be completed within my time frame, so Andrew offered to take the car for the inspection himself. He did so, providing me with the written report. A couple of minor things were found which Lahti took care off. They also gave me 2 new Michelins without my asking. In all, an excellent experience. read more

I went into Lahti's jeep to buy a used jeep. I picked one out with the sales person and I told them to give me their best price. So they gave me a price and I asked if that was the best they could do. They said yes, but maybe they could talk off an additional $100 or $200 off to make the deal. So I left and did more shopping. I found the same exact jeep at another with a little less mileage for $1800 less. So I bought it realizing that Lahti's gave me their best price. About a week later the Lahti's salesperson called me to see if I was still interested in their Jeep. I said no and told that I bought one and I told them the price I paid and all the particulars. The sales person was not very happy and hung up one me. A couple of days later I called Lahti's and spoke to the owner and told him about how unprofessional the sales person was(which is his relative). He said the salesperson was left with a "sour taste in his mouth" about all of this. He aslo said that I should not come to his dealership because he didn't want to make his crew upset. So I will never go to that dealership again. It is their loss because I love jeeps and I buy a new one every three years. Oh well read more
