Bree, has solved the issue. I would continue to shop at Ron Bouchard's but I moved out of state.

Austin was THE BEST car sales rep we have ever worked with, and we would buy another car from him again.

So I decided to start out with one that was new to me - Koch Rt 2 Toyota - and I'm so glad I did. My experience there was hassle-free and laid-back, and the process throughout was transparent. Yianni was wonderful to work with - not pushy in the least, he was friendly but respectful, listened closely, and followed my lead in everything. He explained everything clearly, and carefully helped me think through my choices. I knew the price he offered me was fair because I'd done my research, so I easily accepted it. This dealership was just such a pleasure to work with. In addition to Yianni, insurance and finance folks Starling and Anthony were also very pleasant to interact with, and again no pressure from anyone. I did not feel compelled to jump through hoops here as I had elsewhere. Yianni has even continued to be helpful and generous with his time post-sale. He showed me in person how to disable some unwanted features on my new car. And if I have a question, I know I can just shoot him an email and get a quick reply. So I cannot recommend Yianni and this dealership too highly, they are terrific!

I've never been so insulted…read more I recently tried to purchase a used Prius from Koch Rt 2 Toyota, and everything was fine until it came time to work with the finance team. I had not really haggled on the price and just negotiated $750 more on my trade-in. I was a pretty easy mark. They were definitely making money on the deal, and I didn't really even care. They had the car with the options I wanted, and it was really low mileage. I was happy, and they were happy. Win-win, or so I thought. I was even paying with a cashier's check. Super easy, but then I had to deal with the finance team. I start signing every document until we get to the one that says that I must waive my right to sue them if something is wrong, and instead submit to binding arbitration. I questioned it and said I don't think I can sign this. I was buying a used car that had an open recall that did not yet have a fix. The previous owner had the car for only 8 months before selling it. Did the previous owner think it had a problem? I have no way of knowing. Then, Koch had replaced the lift gate (it's a hatchback) for damage that was not reported to CarFax... some sort of accident the previous owner had. All of these things together said to me that I was taking some amount of risk to buy this car. Why would I sign away my right to sue if there is a problem? I pointed this out, and the junior finance manager brought in a more senior finance manager, Anthony. Anthony started off by saying all dealerships require an arbitration agreement now. I don't know if this is true, but I have many cars and have never signed one. He told me that this was a relatively new thing. He told me it was due to changes in the law, saying "Look, this is right out of Massachusetts law." I asked what law? And I asked him to show me. He went to the computer and clicked around for a couple of minutes, and eventually said he couldn't find it. Then he said, "well, it's just for our protection." And "most finance companies require this now." I reminded him that I was paying in cash and not financing. Then he said, "It just like how at Dunkin, they print on their cups that coffee is hot and you can't sue them if you spill it on yourself." I said,"that's not true. I am not signing away my rights at Dunkin." They have a warning, just like you have all those disclaimers that I signed. Then he started with "What are you afraid of? Are you planning to sue us?" I told him that I was afraid that I was buying a used car with an open, currently unfixable recall, that recently had an unreported accident that required them to replace the lift gate, which was sold to them by someone who had only had the car for 8 months. I was taking all the risk. I was giving them over 30k, had signed every disclosure they had, but was unwilling to sign over my rights if the car was a lemon. He responded that arbitration does not affect the lemon law. So I googled it right there in front of him. Arbitration absolutely limits the lemon law. It restricts what can be considered reasonable remediation, keeps everything confidential and out of public hearings, and is almost always better for the company than the consumer. That's when he started repeating multiple times, "What are you afraid of? Are you planning to sue us?" As he was standing there in front of me. Each time getting a little closer and turning his head a little as he stared through me. He was such a condescending bully. I have never been so insulted. I have never sued anyone. By the 5th time he said it, I asked to undo the deal and give me my car back. I will never go back to Koch Rt 2 Toyota ever again. I'm not sure how I feel about arbitration, and maybe I would have signed it, but I am not spending that much money for someone to be so incredibly rude, bullying, and trying to gas light me with his obvious and checkable lies. What are you afraid of Tony? Are you planning to defraud me? What are you afraid of Tony? Are you planning to defraud me? What are you afraid of Tony? Are you planning to defraud me? No, I guess that's not rude at all. This is how you lose business.

The people there are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. On several occasions I have dropped in to have my vehicles looked at and they have usually been able to work on any repairs the same day. For scheduled appointments they can offer a loaner vehicle. At each visit they do a thorough inspection of your vehicle and let you know of any issues that might pose a problem, "down the road", along with a detailed repair estimate. They have always been done on time and within the estimated cost for repairs. I am very happy with the service they provide and will remain a loyal, repeat customer.

I ended up purchasing the car and was happy with the whole process. It was quick and painless and the service provided from Steve was awesome. The car was completely safety inspected and I had a warranty with them for anything that happened. After about 2 months an O2 sensor went on the car and I knew I wasn't under warranty. I called Steve asking him what could be done and if he knew a good mechanic. He told me to bring it to his mechanic and he would take care of everything. I brought the car down the next day and was able to pick it up the same day. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and thought the least I could give back was a review. I highly recommend buying a car from these guys. Thanks Steve!!

This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. This is my 3rd purchase from this…read moredealer and I expected to be treated fairly and honestly. This was not the case. I had a new salesperson who tried hard to answer my questions, but I honestly knew more about the vehicle than he did. Not his fault, I can look past inexperience. My issue is with the "Sales Manager" Garcia Wong who came in to assist him. I test drove the vehicle (top of the line Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultra) with the new salesperson. I told him this is Exactly the car I want but in the "Java Espresso" color. I even showed him the details off their own website. We discussed the $5000 rebate from Hyundai and the $1500 rebate from the dealership also on their website. I was quoted a fair payment (in line with my research on line) and I accepted the deal on the condition to actually see the car first. The new salesperson drove the car up to the front. I looked at the sticker price and I immediately saw it was the wrong car. Not even close; he brought up a base model Santa Fe with 0 add ons. I told him this was not the car and he went back in to get Garcia. Garcia came out and said they quoted me the price on the base model not the one we talked about? What? Are you kidding me? We only talked about the Limited Ultra, never about the base model. Garcia immediately blamed the new salesperson and said this model would be $7000 more than the price we agreed to. This is classic bait and switch. If I didn't check the actual car he would have been happy selling me a car we never discussed at a payment for the much more expensive model. I was very upset and they both "apologized" several times. Garcia said "let me try to work this out" and came back in a few minutes saying the payment would be $140 more a month. But because "we made a mistake, we will eat $40 of that", so you would have to pay $100 more a month". I was extremely upset at this point but I took him at his word. We sat down and talked more about the payment and what else he could do. He said he would throw in 1 year of free maintenance. He actually said "please don't tell anyone you got such a good deal because we are losing money". I mulled it over for a while, talked to my wife and we begrudgingly decided to accept the offer. While they were off doing the paperwork, I had such a bad feeling in my stomach. Something was still way off with the payment so I did some loan calculators on line and the numbers did not add up. When it was time to see the Finance Manager, Peter Eichholz I brought this up to him and he said "I have nothing to do with the deal, but what do you think is off"? I said "the price does not jive with my estimates on line and I'm not signing anything until I see all the details of the sales price and payments". He showed me the contract that Garcia wrote up and the price was over $5000 higher than my expectations (even over the sticker price). I told him that this price was not disclosed to me and upon further review I noticed the contract made no mention of the $5000 rebate from Hyundai. Peter left and came back within 1 minute and said "that was a coupon that you had to ask for". Seriously? I had to ask for a automatic $5000 HYUNDAI rebate that we talked about many times? Is this dealership for real? Peter took the $5000 off the sales price with no fuss (and no apology for the shady deal). Guess what? The price came back to almost exactly what we agreed to in the first place. There was also no mention of the "1 year service" agreement that Garcia promised, in the paperwork. Peter took care of this on his own and made it 2 years. I signed the new (original) agreed to price. As you can see this was a horrible experience and instead of leaving happy and excited I left upset and felt cheated and lied to. I will not be back to this dealership for future purchases. Updated on 6/1/17 Thanks for your reply Mikey B and admitting that there were mistakes made by your team. I have updated my review to 2 stars for your response. A few responses to your reply, if I may: 1) It was actually a $5000 rebate from Hyundai and a $1500 rebate from Rt. 2 Hyundai. I know this, because I specifically showed it to Garcia off your website. 2) Clearly, if you read my review, the "Bait and switch" is because Garcia tried to sell me a car we never discussed (base) at a price for the car we did discuss (Ultimate Limited). You are absolutely right, I went forward with the purchase; The fact that the numbers came back to the original deal was because of MY attention to detail, not because of Garcia or Peter. 3) Trolling the dealership? How is it trolling by writing an honest review? Or are you saying I don't have a right to voice my opinion on something that you have agreed happened? 4) I would have loved to talk to you then, but I was not offered any contact info. In fact Garcia was nowhere to be found after I came out of Peters office. Perhaps I will call you.

I had an issue come up that got escalated to the general manager Andy. The salesperson and the sales manager all said they could help me. Then when I didn't get a reply, I found out the sales manager I had been speaking to (Jose)_ was out so Brian another sales manager referred me to Andy. Then everything went south. He was rude unprofessional and said he didn't care what I was told by the sales managers before that he was the general manager and wouldn't help me. I brought the same problem to McGovern in Brockton and a sales manager there gave me the information I needed was very helpful and had the problem solved in a few minutes. I will not be buying any more cars from this dealership. I called the VP of sales Zack and emailed him with no response.
