Food was amazing Service is super quick Ambiance is nice and chill First time here and was recommended to come here by a friend of my wife's. So good, all the dishes we had were tasty and delicious.

We came by for a quick lunch after a long walk around Golden Gate Park and the panhandle. This was my first time trying RT Rotisserie but I had heard good things as it's the casual spot associated with Rich Table. I got the chicken salad and shared a side of fried sunchokes with a friend. Loved the sunchokes which were a pretty unique find and tasted like a mix of turnip and potato. Really flavorful and lighter than the usual potato side. The chicken salad was good as well but I found the white meat chicken to be a bit dry. I did really enjoy the sesame dressing and the pickled red onions were a great addition to brighten up the salad. I tried the pork belly as well (my friend got the rice bowl with pork belly) and it was delicious. Super crunchy pork belly chunks, it reminded me of chicharron pieces. Not the healthiest choice but worth the extra calories! Ordering is easy via the kiosk and we got our food quickly. There's bottles of water out and overall a nice spot for a casual meal.

This is one of my favorite quick casual spots in San Francisco! I recommend the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken is very crispy while also being juicy on the inside. I also really like the house hot sauce! The fries and Brussels sprouts are also tasty! The staff are all friendly here and the service is quick. It's a cozy spot and recommend for a quick bite.

I came here for lunch with my colleagues as it was close by the office, I've had eaten RT before when I had used Uber Eats and remembered that the food was quite delicious, so I recommended it. We walked over, walked in and it's pretty self-serve, order from the counter or have a seat and scan the QR code for you to look through the menu and the food will come to you. Once I ordered, I grabbed a few water bottles and cups, again self-serve but always in stock, and a few minutes later, our food came out. My coworkers had a fried chicken sandwich, which they said was delicious, and another had a half chicken and said it was super juicy. I went with my normal order that I got before and had a chicken bowl with rice, the food was just as I remembered it, tender, flavorful, and the chimichurri sauce on top, perfecto! The ambiance for us was nice and quiet, but then again we came around 1:30pm, so the rush was likely already gone, but it was a good mix of students and workers from around the neighborhood enjoying their meals!

WARNING (3/19/26): Negative reviews mysteriously disappear here. I've now had multiple low-star reviews removed after posting about my experiences. Draw your own conclusions but I'm not staying quiet. I used to LOVE RT Rotisserie. I was a regular. I recommended it to people. The rice, lamb salad, Brussels sprouts, lamb pita, and fries are my favorite. Honestly, the entire menu is a win. But something changed... and not in a small way. First, the quality started slipping. Then the portions took a nosedive. What used to be full, generously packed takeout boxes especially the salad and Brussels sprouts turned into HALF-FILLED containers. Half. For the same price. That's when I stopped going. I gave them another shot earlier this year, and for a moment it seemed like they had fixed it. Portions were back. I thought, "Okay, maybe they listened." Then came this latest experience and it completely killed any remaining trust I had. They handed me a box of Brussels sprouts that were completely burned. Not slightly overdone but CHARRED. Inedible. And someone in that kitchen looked at it and said, "Yeah, send it out." I didn't even notice until I got back to my office. I tried calling but no answer. Not surprising, because they basically NEVER pick up the phone. And this isn't a one-off. I once came in close to closing (they shut at 9pm), ordered chicken I've had many times before and it was dry, tough, and clearly past its prime. If you're thinking of going, do yourself a favor: don't go after 8pm. What's even more frustrating? Management. Or lack of it. Look through the reviews. The person responding conveniently skips over the negative ones. No accountability. No attempt to fix things. Just silence when it actually matters. This place used to be a go-to. Now it feels like they're cutting corners, ignoring customers, and hoping no one notices, or worse, that bad feedback just disappears. If they remove my review again, I'll continue reposting it.

I stopped by RT Rotisserie for lunch today since it's super convenient and close to my office. If you are looking for a quick, healthy meal that won't break the bank, this is a solid spot, though there are some trade-offs regarding the vibe and service. The Food I ordered the RTR Salad ($12.10) and added the rotisserie chicken. The salad is a great mix of greens, pickled onions, seeds, radish, and cotija cheese. * The Highlight: The dried cherries are a game changer--they provide a perfect sweet balance to the salty, savory rotisserie chicken. * The Dressing: The Lemon Sesame Vinaigrette was impressive. Often these dressings can be too acidic, but this was well-balanced and not too lemony. The Service This is where the experience could use some improvement. While we were greeted warmly upon arrival, the service went downhill from there. * The staff slammed my plate down when delivering it to the table, which felt a bit aggressive. * No one checked in on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything else. The Atmosphere & Location The restaurant is very clean, which I appreciate. However, be prepared for a loud environment. The space is small and the tables are packed very close together, so it doesn't feel like a place to linger. It gets especially hectic during the lunch rush. That said, the location is great--right near a school and fire station, with a coffee shop just around the corner for a post-lunch caffeine fix. Final Verdict Price is decent and the food is high quality. I'd recommend it for a healthy "grab and go" or a very fast sit-down meal, but don't expect top-tier hospitality.

RT is a solid lunch spot that is convenient and reasonably-priced. The menu includes a variety of options, including sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, and sides. You can customize your order by adding/removing toppings and choosing a sauce to pair with your dish (the chimichurri is my go-to). Customer service is friendly and attentive, and I've visited multiple times for solo lunches and to catch up with co-workers. I usually get the rice bowl with chicken, and it's quite filling and tasty. They top it off with onions, cabbage, sesame/pumpkin seeds, and add little slices of cucumbers and radish. Their umami fries and seasonal soft serve are pretty great too, but it would be best to split a side or dessert when dining with someone else. Just a note, seating is limited and the tables are pretty close together, which can make it difficult to hear/make conversation. It's quite busy and loud during peak lunch time, so the line can be long too. However, I enjoy stopping by and dining here occasionally. The food is good and the service is great too. Probably worth visiting if you're in the area and looking for a good lunch spot with various entrees/sides.

    Rice Bowl with Lamb

RT Rotisserie was having a great deal on DoorDash so I got this for lunch on a work day. What I ordered: + Rice Bowl with Lamb [3.5/5] + Umami Fries [5/5] The rice bowl was personally for me cold, dry, and had a weird ratio of rice-meat-veggie. The lamb was dry and sweet, which I'm not used to for lamb at least. I wish the rice bowl had an accompanying sauce to help flavor the rice. I would probably not order again. The umami fries were possibly the best fries I've had in the city. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and full of mashed potato on the inside. I ordered a side of mayo, and that pretty much sealed the deal. I might try to dine in person and try other dishes next time. :)

This is my second time going to RT rotisserie and I'm honestly such a big fan! The first time I ordered takeout from this location and pick up was super fast and easy at the counter, although there was a big line of DoorDash delivery drivers who were also waiting. Today, I dined in at around 11:30 and had my first choice of seating since it wasn't busy yet. The staff working was so nice and inviting. They brought water over as I was waiting for my friends to join and instructed me to place my order via QR code. Around 12:15, the place got packed and every table was full! The staff are nice and help instruct folks where to sit and give estimated wait times for in house dining. I ordered the RTR salad with added chicken, umami fries, and the garlic aïoli. The RTR salad is extremely well dressed, so if you're someone who isn't super into dressing, maybe ask for it on the side. Otherwise, the ingredients are super fresh and the chicken is so flavorful and delicious. There is a bitter ingredient that is not my favorite in the salad, but it's still really good. The star of the show, and the reason why I'm writing this review, are the umami fries!! I think these fries have changed my life!! They are so insanely crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and taste delicious with the seasoning. RT rotisserie cuts their fries in a special way so that there is extra zigzaginess and crunchiness when fried.

Amazing French fries and rice. The crispness and flavor of the fries are amazing. The chicken is so good.

Disclaimer: This was a delivery order I used to really love their chicken soup, but am not sure if the recipe has changed in the last few years. The broth is now on the saltier and darker side as if it were a pan sauce that had more water added to it? The pickled onions help cut through, but wasn't like how I remembered. On the plus, lots of rice in the soup as well as chicken. Also ordered the sweet potato and really liked with the sauce! I did pick the dill, mint, and parsley off though lol it wasn't balanced with it (for my taste).

    Simone O.

I don't know why their online menu doesn't have the rice bowls so I don't remember what I ordered, but I remember the chimichurri sauce was amazing, the parsley inside was something I picked out, and the fries had that double fried texture and it was really crunchy so I liked it. I also ordered a side of the roasted brussel sprouts but the cotija cheese had a very strong taste that I did not enjoy at all. My party of four came around 7:30pm and it was pretty packed, but tables and food delivery people waiting for their food. We decided to order to-go, but then a table opened up and we just ate there instead.

Came here for a solo date and it was wonderful, you can order at the table through a QR code and pay through that to. The chicken was delicious but not mind blowing as a lover of rotisserie chicken it's just as good as a Costco chicken. Especially with the lemon juice on top. Brussel sprouts were so creamy and yummy mine were a bit over rostered however still delicious with every bite and the rice is made with the chicken fat and has fried garlic on top of it. I actually had left overs of my sides which is great since I payed $25-30 for everything I ordered. I will definitely be back love this place so much and I'm excited to try other items on the menu! This was my first time in the location but I've had them through delivery. Def recommend coming inside and it's a mix of self service and waiters checking in while you eat your meal. And the food holds up both in delivery and in restaurant!
