BLT
Amber C.

First time having their BLT and loved! The addition of goat cheese and the basil aioli really elevates the simpleness of this sandwich. Love their salads as well. $30 for a salad is a bit steep though. This is once you add protein but it's still. Portion size is quite big so there's that.

Tasty salads and sandwiches. Everything seems fresh and well prepared. We tried the tostada salad, with the sauce on the side that was a delight (my personal preference as a gastroenterologist would be to get more beans into these salads but might just be a mean thing. I'm gonna be pushing for more of this sort of thing this year). The rooster sandwich had a quality of chicken that I was not expecting. Juicy and well season. Lastly, the tater tots were delicious. Perfectly crispy and fried on the outside, without being greasy. Terrific service and a nice addition to this adorable little Neighborhood. Although it's not cheap, it's certainly not more expensive than other things in the area and the food and service easily warrant the price in my opinion. Will definitely come back.

Ordered online and ran into garb food. Loved their tator tots and the aoli sauce. The turkey pesto and feta was a wonderful sandwich as were the s'mores rice crispy treats!

Truffle sandwich

I got their truffle sandwich with some fries and omg I've never had a sandwich that tasted so truffle-y in the best way. I absolutely would get it again and the foccaccia it's served on it SO good. I also highly recommend the upstairs seating since you get a sense of privacy with a view and comfortable vibes. The service is also pretty fast and friendly.

The service was simple, you just order in front and then come back to pick it up. The food was delicious, they give you very little dressing though which kinda sucks. The sad part is that the salad costs 19$ which takes away the niceness of it.

Great sandwiches with so many different options and flavor profiles. The vibes are high and the entire place is clean and fun. They were pretty quick and the staff was very nice. If you are in the area stop bye for a perfect lunch that will have you more than just satisfied.

Wow. Blue Barn makes salad so enticing and delicious that I enjoy eating salad! Woo hooo The service is fast and efficient! Nice healthy vibe here! I love my tea leaf salad with grilled king Salmon! Quality is amazing. And yes, focaccia bread is yummy! Thank you so much. Enjoy!

The Casbah. $30 with added chicken.

I really miss Pluto's, so I can give this place stars because their foccacia is probably from Village Bakery, but other than that, I don't think their salads are worth the price. Most start at a base price of $17, and if you want to add protein, that adds an extra $7. With tax and tip my salad came out to be $30. There was no way I would be able to justify buying a $30 salad in the future. I got the "Casbah" and it took me a while to find any beets, and I'm not even sure if I remembered eating any pistachios. The salads are not worth it here.

Located in the space formerly occupied by Padrecito, Blue Barn's newest store continues to be the consistently good sandwich & salad shop we all know & love. Huge declaration time here: the Truffle is in my top five favorite sandwiches in all the land. Pepper turkey, brie, always-fresh roma tomatoes, seasonal greens, pickled onions, & truffle roasted garlic aioli on herb focaccia. All of the best flavors in one neat bite. Although I'm always tempted by their seasonal ingredients (pomegranate seeds & Brussels sprouts, I'm talkin' bout you right now), I inevitably always pick the same "fixins" in my U-Pick Salad -- cheese of some sort, either Ranch or Chipotle Agave dressing, & always always pinenuts, roasted beets, avocado, garbanzo beans, & tomatoes. I've been eating a variation of the same salad for over a decade. It isn't cheap, but it's worth it. Blue Barn salads -- so that's where all my money went.

There was a BOGO free salad deal on Uber Eats, so I finally decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Thai chicken salad, and it was delicious! I enjoyed all the different textures of the ingredients, and I was pretty full after finishing the entire salad. This salad was obviously a great deal because it was essentially 50% off. I'm not sure it's worth ordering regularly at full price though, especially because the ratio of chicken to greens wasn't so great. My partner got a sandwich and fries. The fries were surprisingly great - crispy and flavorful! But the bread used for the sandwich was low quality and disappointing. I don't recommend ordering a sandwich here. Get a salad instead.

This is probably the only place where the sandwiches don't taste like the store's essence…read more I mean, don't get me wrong, a store's essence from any given deli/liquor store definitely adds unique character to the sandwich and sometimes I want that in a sandwich. But when you want a sandwich that only tastes like its ingredients, Irving Subs is the spot. Their Dutch crunch is famous for being fresh and actually crunchy. Their lettuce is shredded but fresh and crispy. The salt content is just enough to bring out the flavors. And the overall composition of their sandwiches are very well proportioned. You're not getting skimped, but you're also not biting into a mouthful of a packet of deli meat. They definitely know what they are doing. Service is good and ambiance is a small humble shop on the corner of 12th Ave.

Double pastrami, horseradish, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and pepperoncini. A lot going on, and it all came together. The horseradish and havarti gave it enough personality to stand apart from a standard pastrami sandwich, and the garlicky mayo tied everything together. The one casualty of DoorDash was sogginess by the time it arrived. That's not a knock on the sandwich, it's just the reality of ordering something like this for delivery. At $14.50 it's a hearty sandwich at a fair price. I'd recommend it, but eat in.

Ordered and walked out in the span of 10 min. Very italian deli with tiramisus and cannolis. Tons of italian snacks and puff pastries, and a convenient location to pickup anything from beers/wines to premade cannoli shells and gelato. One thing to note is you cannot customize the sandwich, not sure about the pizzas, which smelled delicious. They only make speciality sandwiches on their menu, but surely can't go wrong with any of the choices. They're packed with a sizeable amount of meat as well as greens. The half was enough to fill me up and they were kind enough to wrap them separately.

While I didn't get selected for tickets to the PGA Masters Golf Tournament, that's not going to stop me from making pimento cheese sandwiches at home. Sandy's sells this in a cup, pint, and I believe a quart size. I got a cup ($9) of their pimento cheese, and paired it with milk bread at home, and it was so tasty. Great texture, slightly spicy, really solid pimento cheese. A cup was enough to make 3-4 sandwiches at home. Great staple to have for a quick lunch at home. Egg salad, I got the pint ($16), this was really solid too, although I added some additional salt and pepper to taste. The pint is great for family, easily can make 5-6 sandwiches with the amount of a pint. Honestly a cup order would've been good for me. Egg salad is one of those things I don't want to make myself, so thankfully Sandy's sells theirs lol If you are looking for an affordable way to make tasty sandwiches at home, and like egg salad and pimento cheese like me, definitely worth checking out to satisfy the craving. They have them packaged up for take home, so was able to get in and out in less than a couple minutes.
