Do not support a business that can't support people with disabilities. I walked in with my service dog and was screamed at. While a child sat right behind him. We stopped here after Mass in Clare on a Sunday. We got here about 11 AM. We were able to be seated right away. Only about 7 tables here. Small but pleasant dining room. We have been here before Covid a few times and loved it. It's good to see it back. The menu is somewhat different. The busboy brought coffee. He is very efficient and helpful. (Ask him about his interest in animation education and career.) We could see the chef takes the order at the table and then cooks it. So, bring lots of patience but it's worth the wait. It only took about 15 minutes from time we sat down to food served. Food was delicious. We ordered the skillet with ham,blueberry pancakes on side and blueberry pancakes with sausage. First time here and would recommend to others (was here the morning after a soaring eagle concert and live south of Detroit so probably won't be back solely due to where I live). I ordered a combo breakfast with pancakes, hash browns and bacon. LOVED the pancakes. Hash browns and bacon were good too but the pancakes really resonated with me. What a find! Right on the corner in town, just off 127. Four of us stopped for breakfast on the way home from up north. Great atmosphere, good menu. Pancakes are the right balance of fluff and chew (blueberries were a great addition). Hash browns are the good kind-thin and crisp. Links are dynamite-Detroit sausage co. Now I can't comment on I have only been once, and it was close to $50.00 just for breakfast for two. I have not returned due to the limited $20.00 menu. Saw the phenomenal review and decided to stop for dinner and a restroom break for my 2 girls. Walked in to eat and they said it's only take out on Friday's. Since we're driving we couldn't do that. So, my daughter is about to pee her pants and I asked if she could use the restroom and she said, no, it's only for customers. How can you get such great reviews with that kind of a service to deny a kid a use of a restroom when we came in to eat. Probably won't pass through here again. Probably one of the best breakfasts in the Mt. Pleasant area! The place is small, but the flavors and portions are HUGE! The menu is just the perfect size for a breakfast and lunch restaurant. They don't overwhelm you options, but the choices they provide are plenty. Also, the breakfast options you do have, they know how to make the best! Seriously, best Eggs Benny I've ever had. My guest also got the French toast, and he was very pleased. You'll never have to ask for your cup of coffee to be refilled because the staff constantly refills it for ya! Lived in the area for years and never made the trip here. Now I wish I never visited another local breakfast place. Excellent food, service and serving sizes. As with any diner be prepared for a small wait (there's a great porch and a bench for waiting outside in addition to a few seats inside). Driving through the one horse town of Rosebush, we saw this restaurant on the corner. It looked cute and inviting, so we parked across the street and mucked our way through the snow. Yes parking can be an issue. We saw the open sign and went in. A girl stopped us at the door informing us that the kitchen was now closed. She said that they closed at 3 and it was 2:45. If that's the case, then flip your open signs to closed at 2:30 to stop seating. As they say you never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. From reading the reviews of this place, it sounds delightful, but I'll never be back to find out. read more

Discovered this bank turned restaurant this afternoon. To my surprise this place was truly wonderful. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. I enjoyed my time here from start to finish. It's a small place with 10 tables and it was packed. I was greeted quickly and they took my name down. After 10 minutes I was seated. They use iPads to take your order. As for food their French onion soup it's one of the best I've had and I've eaten a lot of French onion soup. Their fried mushroom, onions rings and their cheesesteak sandwich was super delicious( steak sauce tasted great on the cheesesteak) warning they use brioche buns that alone tells you their sandwich is great. Now if you can't decide over Mac and cheese and a burger just order their Mac cheeseburger. I'm so happy I discovered this hidden jewel in Rosebush will definitely be back!!! I recently graduated from Central Michigan University, about 20 minutes from Roz's, and earlier this year a friend of mine suggested we go to Roz's because they loved it so much. Well, so did I! Rosebush, Michigan is a cute little town you'll find driving north on U.S. 127. Driving up to the place, it looks like a large stone building. Once you walk inside, you realize it's a quaint and well-decorated restaurant. They have some interesting hours, but they serve breakfast all day. I now frequent Roz's with my boyfriend and we've visited probably 4 or 5 times. All but one time, we've ordered breakfast. Omelets are good, the Skillet is good, everything is good. In addition to some delicious breakfast offerings, they also have great lunch options. Their burgers are to die for! The waitresses are always very kind and helpful, well deserving of a good tip. The food is high quality, reasonably priced, and feels like I'm in my grandmother's dining room (this is a good thing!). I love this place and of course, even though I'm 2.5 hours away now, I will be back! read more

Great find. Super easy access off the highway and easy to find. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The decor was cute and comfortable. Food was great. Lots to choose from. Stopped there pretty by accident as we had to get off of 127 to use the gas station bathroom. Across the street was this gem. At first we thought the food was a little expensive but then when we received our food we were so surprised on the portion and the taste. Wow was this good. Heading home from our first trip up north this spring and we had to take M-127 because of construction on M-10. Looked at Yelp for a lunch recommendation and found this place just 5 miles ahead. Stopped in and were more than pleasantly surprised. Nice vibe indeed. As we walked in CCR's 'Born on the Bayou' was playing and folks at next table (not over the age of 30) were singing along. Sat down and was waited on by our cheerful waitress. I was ready to order a pulled pork po' boy but waitress recommended chicken shwarma salad when I asked if they had chickens salad. Nice fresh, tasty salad and my wife had the French onion soup. Both were excellent. we will be back for dinner some Friday evening. read more

Portions were very large and extremely inexpensive. Not sure why the two $$ for prices on Yelp. My breakfast was two eggs (huge), hash browns (3/4 of the plate), two sausage patties (each about 4" across) and two very thick slices of homemade wheat bread for $7. In Chicago where I'm from that's about a $12-$15 breakfast. Yet this was better quality, local sourced, and larger portions. I will be back next time I'm up in Mt. Pleasant. read more

So cute on the inside and for a small diner it packs a lot of flavor. I have discovered the biscuits and gravy is my favorite breakfast dish. The gravy has a creamy almost cheesy flavor. And the green onion garnish gives a bite that I wasn't expecting. And I love that they support the local farmers. Rosebush is such a small community but I love to see it come together. I am anxiously awaited this place for close to four years and have not been disappointed. I am just sad I moved away and can only go once every couple of months. This place is legit. Probably one of the friendliest restaurants I have ever stepped foot in. Fantastic service, phenomenal food and a great atmosphere! The restaurant used to be a bank and the old vault is the dishwashing area and the kitchen is where I would imagine the tellers would have been. There is a ton of local artwork on every wall so the place is just fun to sit a look around in. They even gave the kids custom activity sheets with lists of items to search for in the restaurant. The diner serves breakfast all day, along with serving lunch. Everything from traditional breakfast items to falafel and gyros. I had a very difficult time deciding but ultimately went with breakfast. Corned beef hash, eggs, American fries and quite literally the best pancakes I have ever had! Kids enjoyed everything, one having pancakes and bacon and the other having a burger and fries. Portion sizes are very generous and everything was super fresh. This was the perfect pit stop on our way home from vacation in Northern Michigan. I can't wait until our annual Michigan trip next year, just so we can stop again at Roz's. read more

Rueben is easily the best I've ever had; others I know say the same. Our college age daughter cannot go to Roz's without ordering the Mac and Cheese--it truly is like no other. Meatloaf sandwich is my favorite so far; huge, delicious, slab of meat. Unbelievable mashed potatoes, sweet bbq gravy. Untouchable! Still haven't tried their ribs, but have heard they're excellent. Roz's is located at the main intersection of Rosebush, sort of halfway between Mt. Pleasant and Clare. Inside is small, but with a cozy feeling. Sat right next to the window looking into the kitchen. This place not only uses fresh ingredients but it also makes all their sauces. No Sysco or Gordon Foods pre-made anything. Staff is outstanding. Being smack dab in the middle of the state...farm Haven.... there was no vegetarian Benedict options. No problem... subbed spinach, mushrooms and tomato. Hollandaise sauce was wonderful.
