    Korean street melt
    Katy C.

Holy moly, this place was great. The menu is super huge with lots of fun fusion type options that lean towards an Asian influence. You can get bao, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, egg rolls, etc. They do have some "basic" options like chicken tenders. I ordered the Korean street melt sandwich and the crab rangoon bao. The employee working was super patient and friendly and helped give recommendations. The menu overwhelmed me but I was happy with my choices. They'll bring your food out to you and they also bussed our table and checked on us a couple of times. Loved the hybrid counter/table service model. The sandwich was big and very tasty. The pork belly was tender and easy to chew, and it was melty and delicious. I could've used more kimchi but I LOVE kimchi. I saved half for leftovers and it was good cold the next morning. The crab rangoon bao were tasty but quite a lot of cream cheese - if you don't like cream cheese, these are not for you. They also had a lot of Old Bay seasoning which I like, but was a little different than your typical crab rangoon. The vibe inside is dark and cool and seems like a fun college hangout spot. It's a former Menna's (which I STILL miss, RIP chicken cordon bleu dub) but I think this is a great addition and would do really well in Grand Rapids, hint hint.

We had the fish and beef tacos. We both thought they were delicious. Very flavorful. Service was good. Looks like a lot of new people walking in seemingly unsure how the restaurant operates. Need to order at the window and they deliver your food. Service was fast. Atmosphere is good. There is a seating area with 3 leather couches and TV for relaxing.

Birria tacos with chips and salsa.

These cowards banned me from their Facebook page for this review. A bunch of chicken shit cowardice fuck toys. Came here a while back. The 2 stars is definitely for the atmosphere and the service! Those are great. The food, not so much. The brisket end burrito was flavorless. Loaded up with fries, that everything else lost its flavor. They said it had Carolina sauce on it, but it was only on the top of the cut sides of the burrito. The chips were stale as hell and couldnt even eat them. My daughters basic cheese burger and fries were edible, still not great, the fried were, not the burger. In the past I had their birria tacos which were way overly spiced and tasted like they used nothing but cumin for seasoning. Just say no.

Breakfast BLT....Amazing. Our group of 6 all got something different and everything was great! So many flavors in each dish. Service was wonderful as well.

Inspired food is hard to find in Mt Pleasant and this is the place! Everything we tried was good and lots of flavor. Can't wait to try more of their extensive menu!

Man this place was , the food was amazing I had the Popper Burger and my wife had the Smashville sliders . Both loaded and juicy. The fries were on point and the atmosphere was great. Non stop people coming in and most of the tables were full. Only recommendation would be more sauce on the sliders.

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

We went with a fried goat chase appetizer, which I've never had before, and never even seen on another menu before. The cook clearly enjoys using balsamic glaze as this was used on both the appetizer and later on my entrée as well. Balsamic glaze is certainly delicious, but I'm not sure if it goes well on quite as many things as the cook seems to think it does. My entrée was a dish of mushroom ravioli prepared in a purée made with green peas. I noted that the chef used a variety of spices in preparing the purée, to very good effect. My wife ordered the New York strip, and what was brought out looked very good. We both had cocktails, and in both cases the cocktails or well-made. I ordered a Mojito type drink made with tequila. My wife ordered a strawberry Mamosa. I noted the care that was taken in preparing both drinks which tells me there's a professional bartender on staff. About the only thing that needs to be improved is the service. We waited just a bit too long for certain aspects of the meal in a restaurant that was nearly empty. The server was certainly polite and well mannered, but I think he was the only one working that evening. Perhaps on weekends they're better staffed?

Our server was really sweet and gave us plenty of time to catch up and browse the menu. We started with an order of cabin sticks, which are cheese filled breadsticks. Their ranch is famous apparently (you can get a giant container of it to take home), and it was pretty tasty. I liked that the cabin sticks were cut into chunks so it was easy to share with the group. Nate and I got the classic pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions, black olives, and mushrooms. Our food came out quickly and the pizza was completely covered with toppings! The crust was thicker than I typically prefer, but it was needed to hold up all those toppings. The sauce wasn't too sweet and the medium size was perfect for us to have some left over for the next day. If you're craving pizza, definitely check out The Cabin!

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.

We waited for napkins and silverware, which should be on the table before the food even comes out. When they finally brought them, they were dirty. Nothing ruins the mood faster than realizing you've got to ask for clean utensils in a restaurant that's supposed to pride itself on good service. Then came the steak. I specifically ordered medium well, and what showed up on my plate was... I don't even know what it was supposed to be. It wasn't medium well, and it wasn't close. It's frustrating because this place is supposed to be known for their steaks, yet mine came out cooked completely wrong. I shouldn't have to guess what temperature I got when I ordered clearly. The service overall was just "there." Not rude, but definitely not attentive, and when basic things like clean silverware and properly cooked food aren't happening, it doesn't leave a good impression. For the money, I expected way more consistency and care. Honestly, it felt like nobody was paying attention to detail. I left more annoyed than satisfied, and that's not how dining out should feel.
