Easily my favorite place to eat in Mt.Pleasant!! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially from Keagan. She's so kind and always comes around a few times to check on us during our meal, which isn't what I expected from a casual restaurant but it is appreciated! Food always comes out quick and hot and so so delicious. Highly recommend the birria tacos, the mac & brisket quesadilla, and my all time favorite: the drunken noodles. Don't forget to try their bottled drinks either, my favorite being the pina colada limeade. 10/10 restaurant. read more

This is such a conflicting place, the atmosphere and service are nice and comforting, it took over 30 minutes to get our food at a walk up to the counter and order style restaurant (which is very high) I didn't mind too much because they have a nice waiting area with some comfy couches. The food is absolutely the problem for me. It tastes like nothing. I got the crab ragoon melt (do not get this), and I couldn't taste a thing. In my opinion a crab ragoon melt should have some type of flavor and the lack of it is concerning (like how?!?!). My lover got the fried chicken Mac and that was slightly better, but not enough to think I couldn't get better somewhere else. Also their water fountain is "broken" so their solution is to charge two dollars for water. Absolutely ridiculous. I personally will not come back in the entirety of my existence. read more

We both had the Baja tacos which were delicious, one thing would make it better for me is if they had fish without breading as an option. We also got an order of the crab Rangoon baos very tasty and beautifully prepared. This place is very busy so you may have to scout out a booth or table that's getting ready leave and grab it. You have to go up to the counter to order but they do bring it to your table. I am not sure if you have to ask for silverware or they didn't bring it because we had tacos. I would have enjoyed the crab Rangoon's a bit more if I had a fork but nevertheless that didn't stop us. The ambiance is great with couches, counters, tables and booths making it an inviting place to gather. The menu is on the wall so a few paper menus could help so you don't have to feel like you're holding up the line. Would definitely go back when we are in the area. read more

Holy moly, this place was great. The menu is super huge with lots of fun fusion type options that lean towards an Asian influence. You can get bao, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, egg rolls, etc. They do have some "basic" options like chicken tenders. I ordered the Korean street melt sandwich and the crab rangoon bao. The employee working was super patient and friendly and helped give recommendations. The menu overwhelmed me but I was happy with my choices. They'll bring your food out to you and they also bussed our table and checked on us a couple of times. Loved the hybrid counter/table service model. The sandwich was big and very tasty. The pork belly was tender and easy to chew, and it was melty and delicious. I could've used more kimchi but I LOVE kimchi. I saved half for leftovers and it was good cold the next morning. The crab rangoon bao were tasty but quite a lot of cream cheese - if you don't like cream cheese, these are not for you. They also had a lot of Old Bay seasoning which I like, but was a little different than your typical crab rangoon. The vibe inside is dark and cool and seems like a fun college hangout spot. It's a former Menna's (which I STILL miss, RIP chicken cordon bleu dub) but I think this is a great addition and would do really well in Grand Rapids, hint hint. read more

These cowards banned me from their Facebook page for this review. A bunch of chicken shit cowardice fuck toys. Came here a while back. The 2 stars is definitely for the atmosphere and the service! Those are great. The food, not so much. The brisket end burrito was flavorless. Loaded up with fries, that everything else lost its flavor. They said it had Carolina sauce on it, but it was only on the top of the cut sides of the burrito. The chips were stale as hell and couldnt even eat them. My daughters basic cheese burger and fries were edible, still not great, the fried were, not the burger. In the past I had their birria tacos which were way overly spiced and tasted like they used nothing but cumin for seasoning. Just say no. read more

The only thing negative I will say about this place is the choices are soooo overwhelming and everything sounds good. After eating here I will just have to come back a few times to try all the different options. We had the birria tacos and the brisket quesadilla. Both were fantastic but I have to say the tacos are some of the best I have had. I would order those every time I come back. The servers behind the counter were so friendly and helpful since we were new to the place and had lots of recommendations. The meats in all the dishes were just tender and amazing. We also got the strawberry cheesecake bao bun for dessert because we had to try them. They were good and quite the novelty but next time I will try the beignets since the girls were saying they take them home after work because they love them so much. The birria tacos are fantastic. Friendly service. The only reason for 4 stars is because it is obnoxiously loud in there. They always have a kids show playing what seems like full blast, along with multiple songs going at once. I do not eat inside as it is just way too loud and for me, personally, very overstimulating. read more

Man this place was , the food was amazing I had the Popper Burger and my wife had the Smashville sliders . Both loaded and juicy. The fries were on point and the atmosphere was great. Non stop people coming in and most of the tables were full. Only recommendation would be more sauce on the sliders. read more

Stopped by here on the way up north for the weekend because the food sounded amazing. It's located in a strip mall with enough parking, and you order at the counter and then take your food to a table. My favorite part was their drinks, the Pina colada limeade and dragonfruit boba were both good and the infused Red Bulls sounded good, but looked very sweet. Before I talk about the food I have to talk about the atmosphere. It smelled like a dive bar, old oil and very smokey. One member of our party actually refused to eat anything here because the smell was nauseating, and I kind of agree. Whatever was going on with their fryer oil was unfortunately noticeable in the food as well. For food we ordered the Mac daddy burrito and the crab Rangoon bao buns. Everything was high quality ingredients and inventive, and I think had the oil been fresher this rating would've been a four star. The food would've tasted better and we might've stayed to enjoy more of the menu. The service was friendly, and everything came out fast for being made fresh. Overall recommend this place for drunken snacking and midnight cravings (if they were open later than 8:30). read more

You order at the counter and they bring you the food as well as bus the tables. The service was solid and responsive while still leaving you with a very casual atmosphere. The food was definitely unique and tasty. My wife had the he Felafal Melt and I had the BBQ Beef melt. Both were excellent with very good fries. Her fries were seasoned with "Greek" seasonings and were awesome. Mine were regular fries, but cooked extremely well. All-in-all, a nice find on our visit to Mt. Pleasant. read more

I came here on a Friday night about a week and a half ago because it had just been that kind of a hectic week. I really wanted to treat myself to having someone else cook for me and have a really good cocktail. I hadn't tried this place yet and I wanted to check it out. It is a fusion between Asian Italian and Mexican. They have classic dishes from each and add a little twist I had the cavatappi pasta Alfredo. It came with chicken, but since it was Friday, I asked to put the chicken to the side. The waitress offered to substitute with salmon, and I thought that was great. The salmon was a good portion. It was perfectly cooked. The cavatappi was done perfectly. I had a cocktail on the side and old-fashioned, and it was on point. The bartender here is great one thing they wanted to bring to this location was a European way of dining and there is no tipping allowed. There isn't even a line for it on the receipt. They come and introduce themselves and say they are there to take care of us for the evening not us take care of them. It was just fabulous. I will definitely be back. read more

So, this place is a work of art...literally! The walls are adorned with two and three dimensional artwork that in my opinion lands somewhere between high end graffiti and a pollock. And as if that wasn't enough, the food is ridiculous. I personally ordered the, "pig n smash," which was a delicious burger with pulled pork on top. Mind...blown...And for dessert? Wait for it...beignets?! With a delicious strawberry sauce. Hot, fresh, rich. Incredible. Decadent. Unexpected. Even though as a customer you approach the counter to order your food, the staff members were attentive and accommodating. And friendly as well. My bf ordered the pi boy, only issue was the shrimp was grilled not battered. The Parmesan truffle fries are a must! However we did find it odd there wasn't an option for fountain drinks, only cans. Well your concepts are good. However your actual food is terrible. Chicken sliders are inedible as a slider too large and chicken was horrible coated in too thick breading. Just not good food. I got birria tacos, they lacked flavor and portions are skimpy on meat.
