Holy moly, this place was great. The menu is super huge with lots of fun fusion type options that lean towards an Asian influence. You can get bao, burgers, sandwiches, bowls, egg rolls, etc. They do have some "basic" options like chicken tenders. I ordered the Korean street melt sandwich and the crab rangoon bao. The employee working was super patient and friendly and helped give recommendations. The menu overwhelmed me but I was happy with my choices. They'll bring your food out to you and they also bussed our table and checked on us a couple of times. Loved the hybrid counter/table service model. The sandwich was big and very tasty. The pork belly was tender and easy to chew, and it was melty and delicious. I could've used more kimchi but I LOVE kimchi. I saved half for leftovers and it was good cold the next morning. The crab rangoon bao were tasty but quite a lot of cream cheese - if you don't like cream cheese, these are not for you. They also had a lot of Old Bay seasoning which I like, but was a little different than your typical crab rangoon. The vibe inside is dark and cool and seems like a fun college hangout spot. It's a former Menna's (which I STILL miss, RIP chicken cordon bleu dub) but I think this is a great addition and would do really well in Grand Rapids, hint hint.

This is the best Big Daddy Mac and fries, wayyy better than McDonald's!

Food was soooo delicious! This place is so nice and cozy to sit and eat. Their service are nice

We had the fish and beef tacos. We both thought they were delicious. Very flavorful. Service was good. Looks like a lot of new people walking in seemingly unsure how the restaurant operates. Need to order at the window and they deliver your food. Service was fast. Atmosphere is good. There is a seating area with 3 leather couches and TV for relaxing.

Birria tacos with chips and salsa.

These cowards banned me from their Facebook page for this review. A bunch of chicken shit cowardice fuck toys. Came here a while back. The 2 stars is definitely for the atmosphere and the service! Those are great. The food, not so much. The brisket end burrito was flavorless. Loaded up with fries, that everything else lost its flavor. They said it had Carolina sauce on it, but it was only on the top of the cut sides of the burrito. The chips were stale as hell and couldnt even eat them. My daughters basic cheese burger and fries were edible, still not great, the fried were, not the burger. In the past I had their birria tacos which were way overly spiced and tasted like they used nothing but cumin for seasoning. Just say no.

Breakfast BLT....Amazing. Our group of 6 all got something different and everything was great! So many flavors in each dish. Service was wonderful as well.

Inspired food is hard to find in Mt Pleasant and this is the place! Everything we tried was good and lots of flavor. Can't wait to try more of their extensive menu!

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

Echoing the same for my 2nd visit. I travel a lot for work and finding a gem like Wood Shop Social is such a treat--it's definitely a couple cuts above the ordinary and very delish. The menu is creative and seasonal. I ordered a strawberry and crostini with burrata and even the crostini was just perfectly done which a lot of restaurants do not do well. Risotto is often screwed up in restaurants and it was perfectly perfect. Love it here.

We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.

The restaurant had a fun, lively atmosphere, and even though it was busy, we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks refilled throughout the meal. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, smooth, and flavorful, and the gravy paired well with them. Unfortunately, the steak was the biggest disappointment of the evening. I ordered it cooked to my preferred temperature, but it came out noticeably overcooked. Instead of being juicy and tender, it was dry, tough, and lacked the flavor and tenderness I usually expect from Texas Roadhouse. It had a nice sear on the outside, but the inside was much more done than I had requested. The complimentary rolls with the cinnamon butter were still warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious--they're always one of my favorite parts of dining here. Aside from the steak, the overall service and atmosphere made for a pleasant dinner. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but the overcooked steak was disappointing, especially for a restaurant that's known for its steaks. I know everyone can have an off night, so I'd still be willing to come back and give them another chance for dinner in the future. Hopefully next time the steak will be cooked as ordered.
