Great location strip mall at 1590 Wright Ave. Alma,MI. Very clean, excellent ambience, service fast and friendly, The Triple Tacos de Carne Asada with flour tortillas was the best I have ever had!!! Tender juicy meat and alot of it, the marinate unbelievably delicious. Pico de gallo served on side. Will be a regular meal stop from now on. Total for two $29.00 with drinks. So I ordered a to go order. When I called I went over the order 3 times. I went and picked up the food and took it back to work. When I got here there were 3 items missing. 3 chips and cheese to be precise. I called and got the same girl on the phone. She said oh I'm sorry just come back and I'll have it ready for you. So when I got there the actual manager came up to me and said so you ordered chips and salsa right? I said no I ordered 3 chips and cheese with salsa. So his reply was okay well go back and grab the chips and salsa and bring them back and then I'll give you your chips and cheese. I was floored. I mean they give you FREE chips and salsa when you eat in, but this joker wanted me to go back to work and get them and bring them back. I said look I paid for chips and cheese. I had the receipt. He said well that's the way it is. So I just left. What a complete joke of a business. That guy has no clue. And PS the steak was dry and tasted like some dropped a whole shaker of salt in it. My Husband and Sister and I ate there 1/24/22. My sister and I both had the lunch fajitas, steak. They were both fantastic! Lots of tender steak. The onions were caramelized to perfection which brought the flavor the fajitas to another level. The pop was fizzy and delicious. The whole lunch was the best we've had in a long time! I spent a total of 45 minutes waiting for my lunch only to send my food back twice as it was not prepared without corn. I ordered the same exact thing a few weeks ago without corn. I was then told they could not prepare my food without corn. What????? Since when do restaurants NOT make food to your request? Sorry to say I was looking forward to lunch today. I am not usually one to make complaints about restaurants, however, I was very very disappointed with my experience at Cancun tonight. I am not sure in what world a chalupa is a tostada disk piled with beans and other toppings, but I do not appreciate being argued with by the server and having them repeatedly tell me that they are not Taco Bell and that is what a chalupa is. Never have I felt so disrespected in my life by a server. I will not be returning to Cancun ever again. read more

I was very excited to try this place but very disappointed. I'll start off by saying it's themed, clean and cute. However, when we arrived we were ignored by two employees standing in the front. We got to our table and the waiter was completely rude. He just tossed the chip down on the table and got frustrated when we took more than 5 minutes to look over a HUGE menu. He then disappeared for 15 minutes. When we were finally able to order the food came out quick, warm and delicious. Unfortunately, we spent the entire meal without water, which is the last thing you want in a Mexican restaurant. I tried to flag the waiter down but he would look at me and walk away again. There were only 3 or 4 tables of customers at the time and they all appeared to be having the same problem. Atmosphere is great. Nice tables and themed chairs. Overall good looking restaurant and bar. Clean all around, including the bathrooms. The employees we encountered were friendly but lacked basic attention. Had to flag down the waiter for a refill and by then my dinner was nearly gone. Everyone at our table of six needed a refill as well. I ordered the "Special Dinner" for $13.99. It consisted of a Chalupa, Taco, Chile Relleno, Tamale, Enchilada, Mexican Rice and Refried Beans. This came on two large oval plates and was more than enough food for a very hungry person. The food was typical of most Mexican sit down restaurants. A little bland but overall good and tasty. The Chile Relleno was particularly scrumptious. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here BUT this is the best sit down Mexican restaurant in Alma. Much prefer Cancun Mexican Grill over El Vaquero. read more

Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Since this is a chain restaurant and I used to go to one in Franklin Tennessee I figured the food would be just as good at this location...boy was I wrong. Because of Covid-19 take out was the only option and everything was cold, the meat looked like it had been sitting in a warming pan for quite a long time, then microwaved with some cheese on it, the lettuce tasted old and like it had been in the cooler uncovered for some time. Great food! Best in town! Wish I would have taken a picture of my carne asada tacos. They were presented nicely with beans, pico de gallo and a spicier salsa that was amazing. We had lunch here the other day and they were busy but we were seated immediately. We each ordered the Speedy Gonzales and it was brought out promptly and was normal sized for other Speedy's I've had at other places(El Vaquero). They never came and offered refills on our drinks until we were done eating which was disappointing seeing how much they charge for a pop. Horrible Mexican food. I've had better Mexican out of a microwave frozen dinner. Don't let the nice decor and clean look fool you. This place is the worst Mexican I've ever had. I was looking forward to a good place to eat in town but this isn't it. I had beef enchiladas and the food was barely warm. The meat tasted like the cheapest hamburger that was mushy and bland. The service was absent. And the young man behind the cash register was texting the whole time we were there. Then we u went to pay. He said how was everything and I said ( I didn't like it at all ! ) he then had a nervous smile and took my money with a smirk and went back to texting. Sad sad place with no professionalism.
