#5 two poached eggs, bacon, hash browns, and wheat toast
    Jennifer D.

I used to go to Central Michigan University and was in town visiting so I had to go back to Stan's. I had their homemade chicken noodle soup which had a great flavor, a bit creamy, and homemade noodles. This is by far the best chicken noodle soup I've had. For breakfast the next day I had the #5 with two poached eggs, bacon, hash browns, and homemade wheat toast. All of this was great and cooked perfectly. The bread was fluffy and went perfect with the breakfast. Their coffee is pretty good too! The vibes are definitely diner and the staff was very friendly!

Short stack blueberry pancakes and locally sourced bacon with house made American hash browns.

Must stop diner. Always consistent and never disappointed. Beat priced breakfast anywhere In the state and quality can't be matched. Service is spot on. Old school ambience. Like going back in time.

Get here early on weekend mornings. I arrived around 9-9:30 on a Saturday morning and had a little bit of a wait. This was not the most clean or upscale place in the world, that meaning it looked like the last time it was remodeled was 20 years ago. I was a bit surprised at how expensive it was for breakfast because the overall appearance of this restaurant with ripped dated seats and wall paper from the 90s. The tables were extremely close together and it was difficult to navigate through the full restaurant. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. After placing our orders there was a bit of a wait because the whole place was packed. Although people do not come here for the views they do come for quality food. I enjoyed my French toast breakfast, it really tasted homemade. I wouldn't have thought twice about the price if it was a little more updated and not so crammed.

Another great find in Mt. Pleasant. Small town diner with great food!! And good hot coffee! Service was great. The place was packed and the waitresses handled it all with grace and a smile. Our favorite was the homemade bread!!! Big shoutout to Theresa for handling our large party at multiple tables. We appreciated your service! #travelingfamily #eatlocal

Amazing service, I had the blueberry pancakes and some hash browns. My coffee stayed warm and water was filled. Can't beat it!

This spot is cozy and had tons of great natural light, which I loved. There is plenty of parking in back, and some in the front too. They even have a drive through. I ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich on English muffin. The coffee was really good and seemed high quality. I loved the breakfast sandwich--it was hot and tasty, and I appreciated being able to add sriracha aioli for a bit of a kick. The sandwich was only about $6, so a great deal. The wifi was fast and I was able to get quite a bit of work done. I noticed that they had some fun things for sale, including 50% off tea, so I stocked up. I loved their mugs and other fun merch. The employees working were super friendly and helpful. I'm definitely adding this spot to my rotation of coffee shops in Mt. Pleasant!

It's large,…read morethere's tons of seating, I'm also assuming there are outlets to go with that seating so you could work in there if you wanted. It's connected to other businesses. Although they care far more about their drive-through than those other businesses because definitely one of them has an external door that you would have to cross the drive-through to get to, which is just rude. But that's honestly where all the stars end. The coffee is mediocre. The menu is mediocre. You can get whatever you get everywhere else here and it will taste fine. There's zero originality in their menu. Where it truly goes downhill is their employees. How are you going to be two blocks from downtown Midland and not have any awareness of the area and be able to direct an out-of-towner to a nice place to walk? Perhaps I have high hopes for the intellectual capabilities of barista's in a medium sized town's coffee shop, but these employees are sure to disappoint you if you want to do anything other than order coffee and get your order. Whatever you do, don't expect any level of conversation. They absolutely cannot deliver. On top of that, their motto appears to be "love people," but that only extends so far as I guess their customers. They love people except for when they employ those people. When they employ those people, they love to micromanage them and force them to have an outdated dress code of black shirts. What are they some sort of indentured servant? Go somewhere else. All you can find in this coffee shop is boring.
