I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here. We had a couple coats we needed dry cleaning and they did just an okay job on them but my biggest issue was the 2 pairs of pants my fiancé needed altered in length for a work trip... They didn't do a good job because they lacked doing the job all together! My fiancé brought the pants with him and we didn't find out they weren't altered until he put them on. They never told us a thing! Why would they waste our time getting the right length marking it then not doing the job! Our bill was $90 for 3 coats to be dry cleaned, I guess the safety pins they had left if the unfinished pants legs came with a cost too what a joke. I will never go there again! read more

Went by reviews. Walk Inn w stuff of all types . His prices are ridiculous !!!! This is Palm Harbor in a state without major operating cost. But I guess he still has New Jersey pricing. Cost of living in Florida I thought was less. Anyways I left the stuff even though I tried to give the owner some slack. So far the review is for customer svc. I guess I have been fortunate in California and Chicago to have excellent cleaners. He doesn't even have a decent entrance to bring your stuff in. I will not be using this cleaner again. I dropped off the suit. Nice and neat with an oak hanger. There was a two day wait I came at my pick up time had to drive back a second time zero notifications. they kept my oak hanger even though they said my name was on it and it was waiting for pick up making a third trip denied any form of money off and was told sorry. Anything that comes with the suit we keep it it does not get returned.. so basically, if you drop off any clothing, just make sure it's in a garbage bag because you're not getting anything back. lack of professionalism zero communication not organized. there are too many other cleaners that do better than this. read more

Not impressed. Brought in a comforter for cleaning and a coat to have sleeves hemmed. $76! The coat which was brand new came back with a stain that looked like mustard and the stitching was crooked. Wanted to bring in a dress to be altered and was told to come on in by owner. When I arrived the seamstress wasn't even there. Owner said he would do the pinning for the seamstress. Um, thanks but no thanks...... front entrance crowded with a table with piles of people's finished dry cleaning and as I said, ridiculous prices. read more

I found Royal Cleaners through recommendations of others and brought in vintage, hand made wedding dress that needed to be cleaned. I met with the owner who answered all my questions and got it beautifully cleaned in a week! This dress had tulle, ornate beadwork, fabric appliqués, and an elaborate headpiece and veil, which the owner also helped me figure out how to wear. I can't thank him enough for the nice job he did. Also it was super affordable and cost much less than I thought it might. I would recommend to any woman preparing for her special day to take her wedding dress here. I was visiting Tampa on business and when I unpacked my suit I found a small rip in my suit pants and a stain on my suit jacket. I stopped in to Royal Cleaners because I had another meeting in that same shopping plaza and had the bad suit in the trunk of my car. It seems that they are under new management with a really nice couple, Jim and Rose, running the place. I dropped off my suit and they said they would take care of it, even though I really needed it by the next morning. I came by to pick up, stain from the suit jacket had disappeared completely and my suit pants were fixed. It was done in such a way you'd have to have your face right up to the pants and knowing that you were looking for a tear to even see anything. Looks like nothing wrong happened from a foot away! I now know where I will take any dry cleaning or emergency repairs I have on my future business trips when I am in the Tampa area! Thank you Jim and Rose for saving the day! read more

I just received the best service from Royal Cleaners!! It's a long story but worth the read if you want to give your business to local folks that TRULY CARE! Immediately after my wedding, someone offered to purchase my wedding dress, but they needed it quickly. It left me in a huge rush to get the dress professionally cleaned and shipped so that I didn't risk losing the sale. As a result of a google search to find a wedding dress cleaner, I called Royal Cleaners and Jim was extremely helpful! He offered to rush the dress cleaning, despite the enormous train and intricate lace and beadwork. Jim said he could have the dress ready in a few days! His excellent service didn't stop there. While steaming the dress before my pick up, Jim noticed a small tear that I wasn't aware of. He immediately called to let me know. Jim called in his wife, a seamstress, to fix the tear within the hour. He also went above and beyond by contacting the UPS store to arrange to have a large enough shipping box ready since I was approaching the shipping cut off for the day. Immediately after his wife repaired the tear, Jim walked the dress over to the UPS store for me!! This allowed for the UPS store to get a head start at packaging the dress. Once I arrived, I was able to finish the UPS transaction just in time and then settle the cleaning bill with Jim. Additionally, his pricing was extremely competitive.
