I ordered the two meat platter with two orders of brisket, a side of mashed potatoes and gravy, and a side of mac and cheese with a cornbread muffin. To newcomers looking for good bbq: this is NOT the place to go. By brisket standards, the brisket is pretty dry and very very very flavorless. By regular meat standards the brisket tasted just okay but of course it was still pretty dry. To even begin enjoying the brisket I kept having to douse it in the different bbq sauces (which honestly I thought were pretty good and solid. I think those are house made sauces). The mashed potatoes came out a bit cold and were again lacking in flavor. The mac and cheese came out fine but for the third time: no flavor. If they ask if you'd like to have the muffin/corn bread just say no. It will save them time preparing it and it will save you the disappointment. The cornbread was dry snd hard on the outside, and then soft and dry on the inside. (The softness isn't a bad quality, I'm just describing it) The service was okay- kind waitress, short waits- but one thing that stood out to me was that we never got asked about refills. There was an unguarded soda fountain where they got all of our drinks from (which is fine) but I was unsure if I myself was allowed/expected to get my own drink or if they would come by again. Everything came out fully cooked and everything looked fairly appetizing- it just tasted bland. To the cooks: please season your food. Had an original crust pizza with black olives, extra cheese, mushrooms, & onions which was delivered literally across the street. The person that delivered it was on the wrong side of my building, although my instructions specifically side the back door. She called & asked what should she do(she walked over to deliver it). She was walking holding the pizza box slanted upside down. When I opened the box the pizza was intact but you could tell the cheese looked that it had been sitting a little too long. I have had better pizza from there before, it just seemed like it was a lot to eat, just wasn't good to me. Next time when I am in the mood for pizza I will get thin crust. A search in yelp for outdoor dining came up with Route 108 Pizza and BBQ. That was a good thing because I was thinking that I haven't had ribs in a while. It was a nice evening to sit outside in the covered patio. The patio had ceiling fans and lights. There are at least two signs that say NO SMOKING ON THE PATIO but that did not stop one particular customer from lighting up at least three times on the patio and taking a puff before he eventually moved into the parking lot but smoke travels. There are sand buckets along the outside of the patio. Seems pointless to say no smoking on the patio where there are plenty of chances for folks to light up standing next to the patio. Two other customers decided to move away from the smoke and grabbed another table by us at the end of the patio. Food and service was great. I ordered the half rack which comes with two sides and a choice of garlic texas toast or cornbread. For my sides, I got the collard greens and cole slaw. I opted for the toast. I really enjoyed my meal and the meat was tender and well cooked. The husband got the beef brisket with mashed potatoes and cole slaw with garlic texas toast as well. I got a bite of the beef brisket and we both agreed that it was quite juicy and not dry. It was definitely well prepared. Our server was fantastic. She came to check on us a couple of times. It's easy to forget the customers that are out on the patio when you have a full restaurant and bar on the inside. She was friendly and always had a smile. This is a bar that happens to sell BBQ. Service was not great if you were sitting at a table. We ended up going to the bar for everything rather than wait for the waitress. Bartenders were helpful, but they focused more on getting the drinks out to regular patrons. BBQ was ok and pricey. We ordered the pulled pork and brisket, along with onion rings, tater tots and french fries and max and cheese. The meat was dry. The fried sides were on par - crispy and tasted fresh. 108 Pizza and BBQ is a fine place. It's got great atmosphere with lots of TVs and a nice open layout. After softball games, this would be the perfect stop for some post-game beers. Much of their food is quite tasty - specifically, anything that they serve that is fried. Their tots, fries, mozzarella sticks and especially onion rings are all *excellent*! If you're at the bar tipping back beers, these would be a great accompaniment. I can't speak for their pizza so if that's your interest...you should probably move to the next review. On the BBQ front I would give 108 a "meh." Certain things were just off with the various things I tried. The ribs still had the membrane on the back (pet peeve) and had a strange creosote vibe to them that didn't rock my world. The pulled pork had a mysterious yellow tinge to it and was indiscernible as a pork product (if this is Texas bbq, then I guess that shouldn't be surprising) - a little dry and lacking in flavor. The brisket was seasoned in classic Texas-fashion (i.e. salt and pepper) which gave the bark a nice flavor, but overall it failed the bend test and was a little bit overcooked. They also offered a number of tasty and unique sauces (bbq honey, normal bbq, vinegar bbq, dragon honey, and a jalapeño one that had some nice kick). There was also a sauce that came with the onion rings that was pretty good too (like a Russian dressing minus the relish). We learned that the post-COVID menu was being released in early April which included things like "pit turkey" so maybe the expanded menu will help. Last night was the second time we have just walked out after not being served in an appropriate amount of time. The last time it was busy and we waited 20 minutes before someone came by and said she'd be right back to get our drink order. She didn't come back so after 10 more minutes we just left. Last night there were only two tables with customers. We came in and sat down. After 10 minutes no one had come by so I got us our own Menus. Meanwhile the bartender clearly sees us, and she is just hanging out and not helping anyone because the place is practically empty, but she doesn't bother to even come over to greet us/ let us know someone would be right over/ ask if she could start us a drink order. After 10 minutes, when a group who came in after us gets waited on twice before us, we just leave. No one even tried to stop us. Would love to help support a local business, and we really like the pizza, but you clearly need more waitstaff and the ones you have need some training in hospitality. read more

I'm not doing a Pros & Cons on this review but food is mediocre and service was fair. We used to come here often when it was Urban BBQ. First time here with new name. We ordered alot of food unfortunately I did not take any pictures but let's back up a moment. In the door not much has changed, it's roomy and clean but the dinning room side was so dark that we used the flashlights on our phone so that we could read the menus, part of the issue was the light at our table had a blown out bulb. We were greeted by the bartender, she's was very nice but when she delivered our drinks it took 40 minutes to get her back to take our food orders, and let's not forget the girl that wisked by asking if we were being helped but never slowed down to hear our reply to her question, poof she was gone in 60 seconds. The food was ok, nothing special, just middle of the road. Pepperoni Pizza- not bad, I'd order it again but there's better. Ribs, 1/2 rib night is Monday, pretty good ribs, good n saucy. Steak and Cheese, ehh, much more bread than meat but great cheese. Baked beans, awesome, great smoked flavor with bits of meat. Cole slaw- terrible, no flavor and very dry. Loaded Fries, soggy and the cheese sauce on top was gross. Bottom line- I'll go back and try it again, everyone deserves another chance. read more

I've been here three times since it changed ownership and I've not been particularly impressed. This last time was a Friday afternoon happy hour with a large group - about a dozen of us. There was one bartender and I think a food runner. That was about it. That being the case, everything took a little too long. The bartender was doing everything herself, so there were stretches of time during which there were no employees in the restaurant / bar because the two were both in the back. We ordered quite a bit of bar food as the afternoon wore on and we were all in agreement that none of it was very good. Everything fried was over cooked and dried out. Went here for dinner with my husband recently and overall it was good. We had just finished an intense workout and were hungry for some bar food, and to watch sports (my husband wanted to watch college football and for me tennis championship game). They have multiple TVs, so he was able to watch football while I watched tennis. The food overall was good for a dive bar. We got the 108 rolls, which came with a chili cheese dipping sauce. The rolls were tasty and crispy. The sauce was a bit over the top for the rolls but still tasted good. For dinner we got a pepperoni pizza and a 3 meat platter (ribs, pulled pork, and chicken wings). The pizza was freshly baked and the thin crust was crispy, however the pizza was a bit too oily for my taste. My husband liked it. The meats in the platter were all cooked perfectly, but I wasn't a huge fan of the buffalo sauce on the chicken wings - it didn't have a strong buffalo sauce flavor I was looking for. I got collard greens and Mac and cheese as the sides. The collard greens were excellent- flavorful, like they had been cooking for hours. The Mac and cheese was okay, but nothing special. The corn bread that came with the platter was slightly dry but a little butter made it good. The portions were a large size for the price. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back here if we are in the mood for bbq, pizza, and watching sports. read more

Second time here since the ownership change, and we were pleased again. First, my husband loves this place. Missing some of the things that Urban BBQ used to have (special toppings for burgers), but what they do have is really good. We pulled up and just walking in, I was swept away by the angel of BBQ smoke. Then we learned it was still happy hour for 30 min, and we ordered happy hour onion rings and beers. Rings were really good. Hubs got 2 meat (spare ribs and pulled pork) with Texas toast and fries and tots... His whole meal was spot-on. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of cole slaw so I could load up my sandwich Carolina style. I couldn't decide between the Atomic Red sauce or Carolina sauce, so they brought (and I used) both. Delicious! Service was great. Wow this place is so much better then what has been at this location in the past. I got the two meat combo. The pulled pork was super tender with lots of flavor. The brisket, although not cut like regular brisket it was tender and tasty. The bake beans and collard greens were both delicious. I liked all three of the bbq sauces that I tried. My husband was torn because he said the pork had so much flavor he didn't want to use bbq sauce, but he liked the sauce to. The corn bread & Texas toast were both good, but I think I liked the corn bread a little more. We will definitely be back. read more

Friends stopped by to have lunch and picked up to-go for me! I got the 2 meat platter with pulled pork and Old Bay Wings. Sides of fries and mac & cheese. I liked the intense smokey flavor of the pulled pork. Wings were a little dry, but still tasty. Not overpowering with the Old Bay. Not sure what sauce came in the to-go bag, but it was tangy and spicy. Fries were great. Mac and cheese was good. Overall, a good meal at home. Would probably taste even better at the restaurant. Will have to go when things are opened back up 100% and I'm fully vaccinated. Until then, getting to-go is great. I want to try the white pizza! read more

Not bad at all!! Dealing with a real foodie...he was quiet while eating so I know it was good lmbo. Waiter was patient and took in the humor lol...The thin crust pizza was pretty good. It could have cooked a tad longer but it was good. Ribs and brisket were tasty, juicy and tender (so I was told). Mac n cheese was quite tasty too. Baked beans (has meat) they were more of a smoky bbq mustard flavor IMO, but enjoyed. The WINGS and the great flavors offered were bomb!! Plenty of beers to try as well as full service bar. The inside seating was well spaced out and the outside as well. Will return to this one stop shop! read more

We have been here a few times, sometimes during the day, sometimes at night. The food is ok.. sometimes it's great, sometimes it falls a little flat. Service at night is mediocre, it seems like they're not too into their jobs really. During the day the woman behind the bar who also serves is absolutely wonderful, she is on top of everything and truly knows her stuff! I've never asked her name but she seems to be there every day. I give it 4 stars I just wish they'd get a little more consistent with the food and have the night shift be more attentive . The prices here are high, but they did offer a lunch menu that was reasonable with a good selection. I wish they ran the half price burger special all day, it's only from 4:00 on . I have repeatedly been left on hold or subjected to the phone being left active on a call and/or unable to get through because it was left off the receiver 3 separate times in 2023. Happened again this evening and it was literally faster to drive from my kids after school class, walk in, and ask what the heck is going on. Get call waiting, or get an actual VoIP service outside of Verizon to handle ring groups & call waiting to your restaurant. Haven't been here for a while and stopped in with the family. Did not have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely raised the bar since our last visit. Started with the brisket egg rolls and Chile cheese sauce and was not disappointed. Dragon wings always a favorite and for the first time had the shrimp tacos. We were visiting friends in the area and we walked to the restaurant for carry out. It was a beautiful afternoon and a very nice walk. I mention this as set up for my review because in my opinion, all food tastes best the closer you are to the kitchen. The kitchen has worked hard to prepare your food and ideally you'll enjoy it right after it leaves the kitchen. We walked 20 minutes and then set the table at my friends house before we ate, so I didn't expect the meal to be as good as if it came directly from the kitchen. That being said, the brisket was not particularly tender and juicy. We ate it with sauce in the rolls provided, and it needed that sauce. The mac and cheese was also nothing special. I want to say that it would have been better right out of the kitchen, but it wasn't especially cheesy it creamy. However, the beans were very good! I enjoyed the Smokey flavor and bits of meat mixed in. I'd go back for those beans and give something else on the menu a try, perhaps the pulled pork. read more
