    Chicken omelette

Love it for local fresh breakfast. Always greeted upon entry. Cozy seating. The complimentary muffins give a good start especially if hungry. The chicken omelet is the bomb filled with fresh green peppers. The 2 egg sandwich is a good portion.

They don't have any fancy coffee, but it is fine.

Chill and Relax restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch in Olney, MD. Their dining room is not huge but is enough space for chit-chat of 2-4 groups of people. Cute and lovely decoration. Menu has variety selection, but too bad that they don't serve handcraft coffee. The food was nice as the standard, but for me a cozy vibe is make it different. Also the staffs are friendly and helpful. Anyway, the restaurant location seem a little confused, hidden inside narrow corner, free parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant but quite limit.

This is our go-to breakfast place in Olney. The owner greets us every time we come in like family. The food is delicious, hot and fresh. The ricotta pancakes, French toast & pupusas are a must!

My husband and I had a lovely breakfast at Scratch Kitchen. The warm and inviting environment made for a very comfortable start to our dining experience. It was nice to hear a bit of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me To The Moon" and "La Llorona" playing in the background, blending two cultures in one place. The service was great. The staff treated each guest with kindness, respect, and professionalism. The food was worth the trip. I ordered the Big Scratch Platter with Turkey Bacon and a Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Pancake. My husband chose the Chicken Fajita Omelet. Everything was flavorful and well-cooked. I'm so glad we stopped by during our trip. We'll definitely remember this place to visit again on our next trip to Maryland.

Breakfast at the scratch, kitchen is truly a wonderful experience. The pancakes are fluffy. The waffles are delightful and everything that goes along with it is beautifully prepared and very fresh as the name implies it is made from scratch. The restaurant itself is sat in a non-descriptive industrial area in Olney and a little bit difficult to find. But once inside you're treated with fresh ingredients, light and fluffy pancakes and waffles and the fresh stuff ingredients. The staff goes out of their way to make sure all your needs are met.

My cousin and I had a good experience at Scratch! We arrived soon after they opened on a Friday morning and were met with friendly service and good food. The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing and enough for two people to share. My cousin enjoyed his breakfast, especially the pancakes. Also the orange juice was very fresh :)

This is such a cute place! I went fairly early in the AM so I went straight to the counter to check in. The decor was very cozy and rustic. The owner was friendly and we chatted a bit while I waited for my order. I got the 2 pupusas and they were delicious, especially with the sauce. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was very reasonably priced. It was also tasty, even a couple hours later. I'll be back soon!

Another satisfied and happy group at Scratch Kitchen.

Scratch is a quaint restaurant well hidden in Olney, but it is worth the effort to find it. We are frequent patrons. The food is served fresh, in large portions and delicious. I usually order the breakfast burrito with bacon. But what really keeps my friends and Me returning is the coffee. Seriously great. The staff feels like family now.

The food is good ! The fact they serve breakfast all day is just added bonus . The place however is very small, but comfortable. The service is good .

I opened up my Yelp app to see if I had bookmarked anything nearby and T&J's Waffles was the first spot that popped up. I didn't know it was walk up location. I was all prepared to sit at a table and have breakfast, but I was already there and I wasn't leaving without food. My dad and I both ordered the classic breakfast platter. It came with two waffles, probably three eggs (we added cheese so that was extra), 4 slices of bacon, and 2 sausage links, and hash brown. The waffles were such a cute shape and they were delicious. I can't confirm this, but I imagine it's their own special batter. They were very generous with the scrambled eggs and I didn't even have to add salt & pepper. I like that there were two meat options. I just wish my bacon wasn't all stuck together to form one piece. Also, the bacon could've been cooked a little more. It was a little fatty and I like a little more crisp. The star of the show was the hash brown. It definitely seemed like it was homemade. This may have been my first time having a homemade hash brown. I'm not sure what they did to it, but here's my guess. It looks shredded potatoes, mixed with green onion, and maybe some cheese, that was packed like a patty & shallow fried. My goodness, I should've ordered some hashbrowns to go so I could eat them for the rest of the week. The platter was so good, I didn't even mind having to eat it in my car. Lol. It was filling & $16 well spent.

My fiancé and I have supported this local spot for years. It used to be a reliable go-to. But over time, something shifted--and now I know exactly what it is: the cook, Laura. On 11/28, I ordered steak and eggs. What I was served was not just unappetizing--it was dangerous. The steak smelled rancid, oozed a grayish liquid, and had visible discoloration. We flagged it immediately. Today, we returned to follow up and were horrified to learn that Laura had been explicitly told not to use those steaks because they were spoiled--and she served them anyway. Let that sink in. Why wasn't the meat discarded? Why did she knowingly serve it? Is she untrained, negligent, or something worse? And more importantly--why is she still employed? This isn't an isolated incident. Months ago, I stopped in for a quick lunch and became violently ill within the hour. I had to pull over to vomit and missed an important business meeting. I suspected something was off then, and from that point on, I would call ahead to make sure Laura wasn't cooking. Recently, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. There's a level of disregard here that feels personal. When I asked to speak with her after learning about the spoiled meat, the staff refused and smirked like it was a joke. It's not. This could have led to hospitalization--or worse. This is a public health issue. Laura's actions were reckless, and the restaurant's failure to act is inexcusable. I'm mortified, furious, and deeply disappointed. Willy's was once a place I proudly supported. Now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Until there's accountability, I won't be back--and I urge others to think twice before risking their health here.
