DON'T GO THERE!! This location has long been one of our favorite pizza stops, which is why this experience was so disappointing. We came in knowing exactly what we wanted. There was no indecision, no special requests, and we were polite throughout the entire interaction. Unfortunately, the larger middle-aged woman who took our order--who appeared to be the manager--was immediately rude and dismissive. Rather than making an issue of it, we simply assumed she was having a bad day and moved on. After placing our order, we sat at a table within clear sight of the counter. We intentionally chose that location because, in the past, employees would typically call out, "Sir, your pizza is ready," when an order was complete. After approximately 25 minutes, we approached the counter with our receipt to check on the status of our order. The same manager looked at us and asked, "How can I help you?" despite the obvious fact that we were waiting for the pizza we had ordered. She continued performing cleaning tasks while we stood there waiting. Eventually, she walked to the back, retrieved our pizza, and handed it to us. It was already boxed and had clearly been sitting there for some time. I opened the box to check the pizza and determine whether it was still hot. While it was not cold, it was noticeably less fresh and less warm than what I have come to expect from this location. At that point, I had no desire to argue or complain. In all honesty, I had already decided that I would simply stop patronizing that location and move on. The situation became worse over a very simple request. We politely asked, "May we have some Parmesan and red pepper flakes, please?" Instead of simply providing them, the manager responded in a hostile tone, repeatedly stating, "I asked you. I asked you, and you didn't say anything. I asked you." My response was, "What happened to this place? This place has changed, and not in a good way." Rather than de-escalating the situation, she continued raising her voice and began explaining that she had to do everything herself and was handling the store alone. I respectfully reminded her that I was a customer, and that staffing issues, workload concerns, and management decisions were not matters for customers to absorb or solve. Those are concerns that should be addressed with ownership or management, not directed at paying guests. After leaving, I decided to read some online reviews. To my surprise, the very first negative review described what appeared to be the exact same employee. As I continued reading, I found a consistent pattern. Review after review described the same rude, dismissive, and confrontational behavior. I then checked Google reviews and found much of the same. At that point, my disappointment shifted away from the employee herself and toward ownership and management. One unpleasant interaction can happen anywhere. A pattern that appears repeatedly over an extended period suggests something very different. If numerous customers are describing the same individual and the same behavior, then this is no longer simply an employee issue--it is a leadership issue. What concerns me most is that this individual appears to be in a position of leadership. In customer service, punctuality and work ethic are important, but attitude is equally important. Customers can be understanding of mistakes, delays, and even staffing shortages when they are treated with basic courtesy and respect. What is difficult to understand is how someone who consistently displays such abrasive and confrontational behavior remains in a leadership role while apparently generating the same complaints over and over again. I am not writing this in hopes of receiving compensation or free food. I am writing because this used to be one of our favorite locations, and it is genuinely disappointing to watch a business lose its reputation through a problem that appears both obvious and correctable. I'm leaving this review because I'm genuinely shocked by the level of incompetence. I called Round Table Pizza to check on my order, which was already running late. The person on the phone assured me it was "a minute away." A MINUTE. I waited, and waited, and waited. Over an hour passed. I called back, and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. What followed was a frustrating, almost two-hour wait for two pizzas. Are you kidding me? Almost two hours for pizza in this day and age is completely unacceptable. The staff on the phone were either lying or completely clueless about their own delivery system. This is a basic function of a delivery restaurant. How can you be so wrong about the ETA of an order? The pizza, when it finally arrived, was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time. I'm beyond disappointed and will not be ordering from this location again. I'm writing this review because I have never encountered such a toxic, incompetent environment, and it all starts with the manager, Adriana. There is no doubt in my mind that she and her entire team should be fired. Adriana is, without a doubt, the worst manager I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Her leadership style is not to solve problems but to actively make them worse. She seems to take pleasure in a customer's frustration, and her "solution" to a long wait time was to spitefully cancel my order, proving she enjoys making situations worse instead of right. This attitude has clearly infected the entire staff. They seem utterly clueless about how to run a business. My order was remade three times, showing a shocking lack of attention to detail and a complete disregard for quality control. This Round Table Pizza location in Oceanside is an absolute disaster. The service is nonexistent, the food is inedible, and the manager, Adriana, is completely incompetent. From the moment we walked in, we were ignored. It took forever to get our order taken, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasted stale. The pizza was greasy, and the crust was limp and undercooked. It was clear that no one there cared about the quality of the food they were serving. The worst part of the experience was dealing with Adriana. She was rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns. When we politely tried to explain the issues with our order, she just shrugged and walked away. It's unbelievable that someone with such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction could be in a management position. She should be let go immediately. I am in a Fantasy Football league where the group meets every Thursday to watch that nights football game and tend to league issues. This year We have been meeting at Round Table Pizza since week one. The staff on Thursday has been a a huge factor in our decision to continue our visits here every week. Courtesy, politeness, and professionalism have been off the charts every time we visit. Stephanie, the manager, has been beyond understanding with our orders of food, split orders, separate checks, television programming, etc etc... I don't have enough adjectives to describe her helpfulness. Valerie is extremely nice and if you blink you'll miss her cleaning up the tables. Other staff members Michael, Mark, Pedro, are very attentive and smiling making Thursday night, my personal family and our football family, the day of the week that can't come quick enough. I was at this location last Wednesday night and I was very displeased with the service. The food was alright but not worth the price. And then when we were done eating I walked up to the front counter just to get a box for the rest of our pizza, and the Hispanic male that was working in the kitchen completely ignored me. Even made eye contact with me and still let me stand there for 5 minutes. I finally went and asked the young lady sweeping on the other side of the restaurant to help me. She apologized up and down and said she would talk to the kitchen staff. Very sweet girl. I wish I got her name! I'm pretty sure she said was in charge of the shift or something like that. Anyway, she is the only reason I am giving this place 1 star at all. Please pick better employees to work your restaurant. read more

The absolute worst dining experience I've ever had, and it's all thanks to the manager, Adriana. My order was taking forever, so I politely inquired about it, hoping to get an update. Instead of helping, Adriana showed up, immediately acted defensive, and made the situation ten times worse. She didn't try to make anything right; she went out of her way to be difficult, even canceling my order right in front of me after I'd already been waiting for so long. She clearly got a kick out of showing me who was boss instead of doing her job. A good manager diffuses a situation, but Adriana just adds fuel to the fire. After putting a delivery order in at 10:10pm (20 minutes before the online ordering deadline) on a Saturday night, I was extremely disappointed to hear about a cancelled order. The rep I spoke to at grub hub said that the last driver was not responsive and unwilling to take my order. This Pathetic laziness was totally uncalled for. If a business does not deliver what they market and promote, they should not be in business at all. Fantastic job to this team for handling a very busy night. I came in phones kept ringing and a big line. Every employee was working really hard. The cashier, a young female, was asking everyone's name in line to expedite their order through the mountain of orders they had. Very nice and apologetic.
