This was a different Korean BBQ experience, very unique because you actually get to choose and grab your own meat, and their salad bar had good selections from spice to non-spice. Also, the perks they serve boba drinks here which was a plus for the kids, small selection, but it had Tapioca which made them happy. The table setting can be a bit tight, chairs close to other tables was my only con. The meat was favorable, the staff members were attentive and the kids loved the fact that they had a variety to choose from. I paid $140.00 through Groupon, and after the service, they tried to charge me an additional $58 in gratuity. This additional charge was not clearly explained to me when I arrived or before the service began. When I questioned the charge, the employee simply told me to "read the menu." I took a picture of the fine print because it was extremely difficult to read and was not clearly presented. If there is a mandatory gratuity or additional fee, it should be clearly disclosed to customers before they receive the service--not afterward. I explained that I did not agree to the additional $58 charge and that I was willing to leave a reasonable tip based on the original $140 amount I had already paid through Groupon. What made the situation even more upsetting was what happened while I was paying the bill in cash. My child was recording me with the camera while I made the cash payment, and the employee grabbed my child's arm because he was recording. I found it completely inappropriate for an employee to physically grab my child simply because he was recording me making the payment. I also put a picture of the menu where she told me I supposed to find the information about the extra charges. It's not legible. I was extremely disappointed by the customer service, the way my child was treated, and the lack of transparency regarding the additional charges. So glad we came here! We were seated right when we entered and staff were friendly and approachable. Our drink order was taken and we're told we could immediately go pick which protein we wanted to pick. There is a sauce and side dish station along with a self serving of rice and miso soup. I loved the kimchi and radish, it was a great pairing with the meat we ate. There is a variety of protein such as beef, chicken, and sea food. I came here for my daughters birthday after a long day at legoland. This is one of those self serve KBBQ spots and they have charcoal or gas grill. The meats are premium and you get your money's worth. The fans above the grill work so you don't smell like a string odor of kbbq when you're done. We came here after Legoland and it was just as good as the last time. We were a large group so we did one charcoal and one regular gas grill. It was a perfect combo because the pork belly, teriyaki chicken, and mushrooms were unbelievable better on the charcoal while the thin brisket and ribeye was best on the gas grill. Bonus - it was a hot day so the drinks were the best part of the meal! Our favorite was the sparkling lime refresher and fresh coconut. Also, I don't like my drinks too sweet so our server suggested to adjust my drinks sweetness level which was very helpful. To the Owner: Please update your website to correctly reflect the pricing difference between the gas and charcoal options. The current statement indicating they are the same price is inaccurate. We visited on Sunday, Aug. 16 for lunch. Our group of five adults and two children arrived at noon and were seated promptly. I requested the charcoal option (main reason I chose to try it here), but was informed it was priced at $37.99 per person, while the gas option was $30.99. When I mentioned that the website listed both at the same price, the staff member insisted the pricing was different. I love this BBQ spot compared to the rest in the area. You can do what you want apart from the tables wants and needs because it is buffet style. I don't care for short ribs as much as my husband, so as he filled his plate I can focus on things I'll actually eat without feeling like I need to help him out with a set portion. That's fine and all, except the only thing I found edible were the brisket and pork belly. The bulgogi had a really strange marinade and was very off putting. The side options were extremely lacking and the fish cake was bland. The worst part is the rice was extremely dry. Hidden gem for sure. From the outside, I was a little skeptical. But when we entered, it was clean and welcoming. My family and I went during a weekday so there wasn't a lot of people. Horrible service and food. We my boyfriend and I came here to grab a bite since my pet is currently hospitalized across the street. It made my boyfriend and I's stomach sick. The beef was very very fatty, we couldn't even chew it, the squid tasted awful, sides were very low quality and limited, sauces did not taste good. After cooking our first batch we noticed it and tried finishing it thinking it was just our mindset when it wasn't. The meats tasted like plastic on top of everything else that was going on. We kindly asked for a refund since we barely had eaten anything and showed the evidence and a bowl filled with fat. I explained how we were not satisfied and how we physically felt and she told us that none of the food was spoiled and that nobody else complained and that we wasted so much food. She then said I'll be right back and talked to whoever for the longest time tells me I only get 10% off when we barely ate anything, and says well we gave you a 10% discount and leaves. We went to go pay we realized that she tried scamming me by charging for 2 premiums when it was one and she took off the discount and refused to put it back on with the new charge. There was no "no refunds" or "limited refund" policy in their restaurant, so a refund should've been valid, now I have to make a claim on my bank which is ridiculous because paying almost $70 is a joke! read more

I don't mind tipping but the way she asked immediately where the tip was, was a big NO for me. Plenty of options overall. Servers are extremely attentive and explain their system as well. The restaurant is very clean! Plenty of seating for larger groups as well. Easy to park but hard to find the location since it is hidden behind the staircase. The brisket, galbi, and teriyaki chicken were my absolute favorite cuts. My wife and I just recently discovered this place conveniently located across from Target in El camino, we enjoy Korean bbq but this one is a little different because its a self serve buffet, they have a lot of options in terms if meat, meats are in good quality, they have more than 4 options of sides, soup, and pot stickers, service is too notch everyone was very attentive, we barely waited to have our griller change if needed.
