Our favorites are mongolian beef, sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, house special chow mein/lo mein, and garlic chicken. I personally love the egg flower soup! I think it's one of the best I've ever had. It always hits the spot, because it reminds me of a restaurant I used to go to as a kid but that place closed down decades ago. Every time we order take-out, we always get a nice lil surprise of my favorite cream cheese wontons or sometimes we get pot stickers too! On the house!!! I really wanted to give this place a great review because the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food fell short. The flavors were very bland and lacked the boldness you'd expect from these dishes. The Kung Pao chicken was especially disappointing--this dish is typically known for its peanuts, water chestnuts, bell peppers, and a flavorful, spicy sauce. Here, the chicken was heavily breaded, and I could count the peanuts and water chestnuts on one hand. The Shrimp Szechwan tasted overly oily with very little depth of flavor, and the chow mein was similarly bland. Because of the great service, I'm giving this 3 stars, but the food quality would need significant improvement for a returned visit. Would not recommend this place if you're looking for authentic food. read more

Everyone is super nice and quick, they make everything fresh to order so it's not sitting under a heat lamp. Little on the pricer side but you get a lot of food so it's worth it. I rarely order Chinese food, however it was late and we decided to try out the restaurant since we just moved to the area. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant seemed clean. We entered 20 minutes before close and they had an amazing attitude and were very welcoming for us to order! We got beef with brócoli and it was 10/10 flavor. Small side of veggie lo mien was also 10/10 and of course veggie egg rolls / cheese wonton. The woman did half n half for us which was really nice of her. Heard a few good things about this place and thought we would check it out. We ordered online for pickup. We arrived to get our order only to find that they mistakenly made us Garlic Chicken instead of Orange Chicken. The lady was nice and quickly made us the right dish. She also gave us the Garlic Chicken at no cost. Very nice of her. When we got home and unpacked everything, we found that they gave us Kung Pao Chicken instead of Kung Pao Beef. At this point I'm not going to call and complain but just enjoy what they gave us. We all ate and chatted about the taste of the food and all agreed that it was just ok, very bland and lacked flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken and Garlic Chicken were very similar in taste, enough so, that we actually thought they were the same dish. As you can see from my order summary, 4 items plus tip was over $70 and a service fee on top of that. Today was Easter Sunday and I wanted to order Chinese Cuisine for my dinner time meal today. I placed my online order on the Door Dash App on my IPhone at 7 p. m. I ordered from the Chen's Kitchen website. It included one Chow Chicken Fen. The price was $15.99. My next order was the Pot Stickers that is filled with shredded chicken meat and it includes 8 pieces. The price was $10.00. Then I also added the one small box of White Rice. The price is $3.00. The delivery fee was $1.49. I don't have the Dash Pass Membership anymore since it has expired in December of 2023. The prices are more expensive now. The subtotal was $28.98. The Service fee was $4.35. The Estimated Tax was $2.39. The Dasher Tip for Christian was $3.50. My total cost was $40.71. Also included in my order was their condiments, one large container of Chili Sauce, 4 packets of Soy Sauce, 2 Siracha Sauce Packets, and this one small container of Sesame Sauce. Then I received a generous stack of white napkins with 2 plastic forks and 3 plastic spoons. My dessert was the 4 packages of Fortune Cookies. I charged this amount to my credit card account. The weather conditions today were really not good. It was raining throughout the day today. I looked on the Door Dash App and it said that Christian is waiting to pick up my order at Chen's Kitchen tonight. Christian delivered my Chen's Kitchen Order to my front door at 7:47 p. m. tonight. It was raining really hard when he brought my order to my home. I opened up my front door. Christian was very friendly, and he smiled then he told me that he doesn't mind the rain. Then I told him to have a Happy Easter today. Christian then handed me one large bag with my order packed inside with a brown paper bag and a white plastic bag on the outside. Then Christian said goodbye and he drove off. I took my Chen's Kitchen Order inside my house. I had to re-heat 2 of the Chicken Pot Stickers and one serving of the Chicken Chow Fen with one scoop of the white rice. I made one cup of hot tea for my beverage. I didn't see any drinks on their menu today. After I re-heated everything up tonight for my dinner time. I sat down to eat everything. The Chicken Chow Fen had the correct amount of seasoning added to it. It was flat noodles with tender pieces of chicken meat that was marinated for a long time. There was also some veggies mixed into this dish. It was very tasty. The white rice was a perfect combination with this Chicken Chow Fen. I had a lot of this Chinese Food left over because I received a generous serving of it. I only could eat 2 Chicken Pot Stickers but they were both very crispy of the outside and has delicious chicken meat filled inside. i was very satisfied with my Chen's Kitchen meal today. Well. I was excited about the rating and went in for takeout hoping to find a new favorite as our usual is temporarily closed. She did help me find the chowfun I did not see it on the menu- possibly because it is misspelled and hard to spot. I'm glad because that was the only good thing we got. 5 stars for the beef chowfun. The wonton soup was just ok the broth was really weak (watered down not much flavor). The moo shu pork was just bad. It was basically cabbage hardly any pork no flavor at all it was steamed cabbage with a few tiny bits of pork. They did give me extra pancakes but they were already going stale (I had to steam them to make them edible) and I asked for extra hoisin and they were little packets not a portion cup of house made. All in all disappointed and won't go back. I also tipped on a takeout and the girl working didn't ask if I needed chopsticks or anything. She asked other to go customers so it was just me. read more

I ordered Szechuan tofu with rice and then vegetable chow mein (which was amazing) and my nana ordered salt and pepper wings and vegetable egg rolls. She claims they were excellent. I'm usually a big eater but could not finish it all. Place is mid sized, if you intend to have a large party, you will take up most of the space in this place. Tables would have to be moved together if you wanted to sit together. Other than that it is perfect for 1-4 people to grab lunch and go. They take phone orders. We got shrimp fried rice, orange chicken and moo shoo chicken and they were all very good and so fresh. My favorite was the moo shoo for sure. We've been eating here since the new owners took over a few years ago. We were thrilled to find egg foo young on the menu. Even more thrilled that it was actually good Tonight's order of vegetable egg foo young was almost tasteless and the sauce served with it was so salty it was inedible. What a disappointment. And, that made dinner white rice with soy sauce. We've had many other dishes. Some good and some not so tasty. The stir fried dishes tend to be better, although the list of ingredients is not accurate. Have ordered 2 different dishes that advertised snow peas and not a pea was found in either dish. So, don't get too excited about your favorite ingredients because they might not show up. Stopped ordering the egg drop soup as the chicken was like shoe leather each time. Think it's time to find a new Chinese food restaurant and not accept mediocre dishes. The dining space is too hot to be enjoyable and you're not allowed to use the restroom. read more
