Had a hankering for a plain cheese personal pizza and RT is usually my first choice for that, even though it is not necessarily my favorite pizza overall, depending on what I am in the mood for. This particular RT has very friendly and helpful staff. I told them I wanted extra cheese and they honored that and then some, which is really hard to get at some other locations, even when you pay extra for it. Over the past year I have noticed a huge improvement at this location. Not sure if it is due to new management or new franchise ownership or both, but I wanna give these guys an atta boy and GREAT JOB! Thank you. Now if we could only get all the RT's to go back to ye old-fashioned dim lighting with booths rather than the more open cafe look, that would greatly improve ambience, at least for me. But as a RT, these guys get 5-stars across the board and not deducting points for ambiance because that is my personal preference and with the franchise deal, they may not have a choice. read more

Called made phone order and picked up pizza Togo. Very fast service , pizza was ready in 15mins!! And the customer service was awesome here the register guy was great and also happened to meet the manager named Pete and he was great too. The worst Round Table location I have ever patroned. Served me a Frankenstein'd pizza that was clearly made of old staff pizzas or the dried out pizza that wasn't eaten from the pizza bar at lunch. Some of the slices were clearly from a small or medium pizza when we had ordered a large. It had clearly not been cooked together as a fresh pizza. The manager, Colin, I believe called my wife a liar and said there was no way the product was like we described. He made me drive 30 minutes back to the restaurant so he could see it himself before he would refund us. I had just worked 4 straight 16 hour days on a wildfire sleeping in the dirt and really wanted a hot meal. My boot likely would have satisfied my hunger at that moment but somehow this place and their inedible, hard, Frankenstein-pizza did not. read more

Wanted to update my review, because I went into the store for the first time today. I've been to a decent amount of round tables, this one has the best salad bar I've ever seen. Fully loaded, even with chicken. They also sale mason jars of their fresh ranch to take home. Workers are really nice here as well. I'll be back regularly. So the low stars is just a personal pizza preference. 3 stars, to me, is just mid. It's not bad, but not great. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, I've never had issues there with the food or people. I just personally am not a fan of the original crust pizza. The crust is thin and soft. Toppings are great! The garlic twists are top tier! But the original crust kills the pizza for me. Really gotta remember to get the pan style. Salad bar was phenomenal though. Stopped here with my team after a basketball game 5 minutes before closing. Even though I was the only one there and they were cleaning everything up, the manager said he'd be happy to take my order because they were still open. Ordered a pizza tonight before Thanksgiving since I was going to be cooking all day the next day. I made a simple request for extra red sauce. They told me I was the only delivery order and it would be here in 30 min. 45 min later, the pizza arrived. I tipped the delivery driver and asked if the extra sauce was in the bag, he responded, "Yes". Once inside I check the bag and no red sauce at all, plenty of ranch that I didn't ask for. I ran back outside to grab him and he was gone. I call the store for them to ask the driver to turn back, and the guy at the store tells me the driver is to far away and is that he is sorry. The kid just left my house, and he's to far away..... The fact that they didn't care about making it right is what burns me. Well that's the last time I buy from Round Table. I have been a loyal Round Table customer since 1973 in Fremont. I would buy a small with my paper route money feeling rich. Ha! I have been to many locations over the years. My worst experience is unfortunately the only one where I live now. The last 4 visits specifically were NOTHING like the Round Table of old. Lack of cheese is the main problem for me. Pretty standard Round Table, which is not a bad thing. Large seating area including a banquet area that can be closed off for events. Pizza: Standard RTP, so it's good. Given an option, I'd choose Pizza Plus in Sutter Creek, but I'd eat without complaint. The buffet lunch is great with the all-you-can-eat-pizza and salad, but I've never had a salad here. I went to Round Table with 7 people. There was a ton of seating and we had no problem finding a table. We ordered our pizzas and then sat down within the first 5 minutes of being there. The water there is very refreshing, I took about 5 trips to the "Soda Fountain" just to refill my water cup (I recommend water). When we got our pizzas, they were extremely hot. Two of our friends burnt their mouths. We had to wait a couple minutes to dig in. The pizza flavor was average, nothing special or spectacular, just plain pizza. The overall vibe of the restaurant could've been much more inviting and happy, instead it felt sad and like the workers just wanted to go home. Anyways, don't expect anything special to come out of your Round Table visit, just pizza and spectacular water. read more

so the food is fine, just your average pizza place no issues there.. the service is where my review comes into place, we placed a mobile order to be picked up and arrived at the time it said it would be ready, we were told it would be a 5 minute wait they were still working on the order which is no issue! my issue is while waiting for the last item of my order to be finished the gentleman up front went to the back to ask where the last item was because the 5 minutes had come and gone and the cook in the back said "i gave them to (not going to say actual name) she said they smelled good and she was hungry so i gave them to her" so we then had to wait another 10 minutes for the cook to re-make the food that should've been given to us.. my newborn was not happy having to wait for his bottle due to her giving our item to a coworker that should've been done 20 minutes ago.. read more

It's OK as Round Tables go, certainly better than the ones in Folsom. (Is that damning by faint praise?) There's better pizza though, in Ione and Sutter Creek in places that are family owned. I've been to Round Table quite a few times for kids' birthday and other parties which seem to go well there. The one thing I really don't like is that they do not honor all the RT coupons that come in the paper which seems a little chintzy to me. But, I've never understood why pizza is so expensive, and most of it is SO bad, and bad for you so probably I'm not objective. And don't you hate it when pizzerias have salad bars that are essentially iceberg lettuce with the uncooked pizza toppings. This place plays the loudest obnoxious music. We have come in here twice now where the music is so loud and head banging that you can't carry on a conversion. Apparently Round Table Pizza is now "Gotta Luv Pizza" which they "claim" is still Round Table, however there prices are ridiculous now. This will be the last time I eat there. Safeway puts out these 15% off coupons on the back of their receipts for "Round Table." The only problem is when you go to order a simple cheese pizza and they ring it up as $19. You go to use this COUPON and they say the discount has already been applied! WHAT???!!!! At $19 bucks!?!?!That's so ridiculous for a plain old pizza. Especially when I can go to Pizza Plus, Paisano's or Papa Murphy's & get a pizza with TONS of toppings for less than or comparable to $19.
