I have never Yelped before. My experience was so bad I actually joined Yelp because of it. I have already sent a email to corporate but I will share my experience here. I am a mom of 3 pizza loving kids. For the last few months I have ordered from this location and had the food delivered to where I live in Azusa with no issues. Tonight my husband ordered online and this is what happened: The driver called to let my husband know he went to the wrong address. Mixed up North and South. Not a big deal but pizza and all the other stuff arrived a little late and it showed in the taste. Right after driver left we opened up all the food to discover he forgot our sauces we ordered including my salad dressing. A little annoying but easily remedied, right? I called the store right away to ask them to contact the driver and send back my sauces. It was then the girl passed my call over to the manager Michael. In all the condescending tone he could muster (note to Micheal: not the best way to speak to customers) he informed me that he does not deliver to Azusa. He would no longer deliver to my home and I should find somewhere else to order from. His reasoning is Azusa is too inconvenient and they prefer to focus on Glendora. Hey, that's cool. In the future perhaps informing a customer the FIRST time they call and ask if you deliver to their address, say yes if you mean yes not yes if you really mean no. Do not wait until the 6th or 7th (honestly I kind of have lost count) time of ordering and delivering to said address. I hope Michael receives some much needed training in dealing with food issues from customers in the way that I am sure is much more appropriate. I am taking my weekly pizza orders to another establishment that offers at the very least average customer service and the ability to deliver everything that was ordered to the location it was ordered from in reasonable time. read more

Ordered my pizza at 3:41pm. I received a call at 4:58pm informing me that the driver is having a hard time finding my address. Clearly my pizza is more than an hour late, so I ask if their is anything that can be done. The manager tells me I'll be offered 20 percent off for NEXT TIME. Next time? Why next time, my pizza is late now?! It's now 5:12pm and still no pizza. I called the business back just for them to tell me give them another 10 minutes for the driver to find my address. Here we are at 5:20 pm and still no call from them. This is terrible service. You would think they would of at least had the decency to apologize for the inconvenience and discount the meal or at least empathize with their customers when it's a mistake on their end. Considering that this Round Table Pizza is a chain restaurant, I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. I personally prefer the King Arthur's Supreme. The pizza has pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, linguica, mushrooms, green peppers, yellow onions, and black olives. The toppings cover a blend of three cheeses. I also like their spicy Buffalo Wings. The wings are available in 6, 12, and 24 pieces. The price for pizza range from about $12 to $20. Round Table is definitely better than Domino's, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut... no comparison. read more

Two stars because they served me so late. I had been in the ER with my dad for the past 5 hours and was taking a break to eat. The guy who rang me up wasn't helpful and was working the register under another employees name. He wouldn't sell me a salad saying everything had been put away. I asked for a to go container so I could pick up a bag of salad at the store he said no they were for their salad. Round Table is, well, Round Table. It's consistently better, in my opinion, than Domino's (gross) and Papa John's (you've gotta be kidding me if you think your pizza is better, it's disgusting!). The only pizza places I like more than RT are Hungry Howie's and Pizza Hut (if we're talking about national chains only). This RT is pretty good. The service is, at the worst, mediocre. The last few times I've been, the service has been pretty good. The pizza is always good and comes out to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The wing, breadsticks, and beer all come out the same as the pizza. It's not all that expensive either. It's rarely crowded on the weeknights, but weekends are a different (I know from personal experience in little league, this place gets packed after games). read more

Wow! What a RIP OFF. I order a small pizza (over the phone) thinking nothing of it, other than it will be plenty for two small 10 year old girls. It cost me $15.25. When I picked it up I was shocked at the size. I almost wanted to laugh out loud. It was like a mini pizza. Come on people! I could have bought 1 pizza for only $5.00 at little Cesar's that was much larger. When I brought it home, my husband literally laughed. Oh well, now I know better. Great pizza hands down. Probably one of the best in the city of Glendora. You get what you pay for. Can be greasy at times but who cares it's pizza. One of the most uncomfortable meals I've ever had. I kept getting looks from the staff as if I had something drawn on my forehead. I politely asked if there were any limes for my beer and was treated as if I asked the staff to write a 15 page essay. The nascar that was on tv was more important than even decent customer service. I usually love this location me and my boyfriend have been going for years to only this location. But as of last night Friday 11/14/2014 at 08:15pm and our cashier was Arianna who also took our order was extremely rude to us. We ordered a specialy bbq chicken and she said since we substituted things we had to pay extra. We have ordered the same thing for four years. She ignored us as we told her we know are bill. Then as we where served our food the other woman was sniffling as she seemed sick. It was disgusting. The floors in the bathroom where sticky and dirty the bathrooms small the window had no grade on its window witch worried us. The two girls where texting on their phones not doing anything talking the whole time to each other. Last week I was at this location with large groups of coworkers and they forgot my orders, so I got my pizza when we were ready to leave so they offered me 50% discount on my next visit. Today I went there with 2 of my friends and ordered pepperoni with mushrooms and jalapeño, at first they were denying the discount. After a long Conversation with manager she decided that she's going to honor the discount but when we receive the pizza, it was cold and toppings on the pizza were not sticking and they were coming off. After we tried our first piece we found out that the pizza was old and they only added the mushroom and jalapeño on top, put it in the oven and brought it to us. when the waitress brought the pizza she went back to the kitchen and my friend noticed that she's laughing. Normally it takes 20 to 25 minutes for them to make a pizza it was very surprising that we got our pizza in five min. My friend confronted them but they had nothing to say and all three of us ended up with diarrhea and vomiting this is a horrible horrible disgusting location and I will definitely report them to health department. read more

RT was my husband's favorite place when he was a kid. We moved to Glendora about a year and a half ago and have been to RT a couple of times. Tonight we went and got a small cheese pizza, 1 order of wings, 2-1 trip salads, 1 order of cheese twists and 2 drinks. It's was OVER $50!!!!!! That's ridiculous!!! The food was ok at best. i just called to or for delivery which i did three weeks ago with no issues. was informed i was outside of their delivery radius pf 4 miles. i mapped it and im 4.1 miles away! they say its a strict policy and that the drivers would lose money any further than 4 miles. i was about to spend over $100 on bread cheese and sauce and i always tip drivers 10$ and this fellow who sounded about fifteen was so proud to turn me down. outstanding business tactics my friend, and i wont be surprised if this okay-ish 2.5 star average pizza place in glendora follows its covina predecessor into history before very long. thanks for nothing guys, maybe take an adult ed business class or something read more

Let me start by saying I used to work at roundtable while I was im highschool. At my location we would always put the customer first, if there was a problem we fixed it happily and apologized. I ordered from here with a coupon and had to argue with the host for 5 mins about the expiration date when finally she found the discount in the computer after saying "I don't think we have that anymore" -wow. So after that i place my order and ask if there are any deals if I order appetizers her immediate response was no... Ugh ok I guess I'll just spend less money? She was very rude. After I got the order she told me delivery would be an hour or more... That's ridiculous. We got the pizza and it was delicious. The next time we ordered a few weeks later we got their special offer pizza the garlic bread crust but asked if we could get it with a supreme pizza, we paid More of course for the upgrade but when it arrived it was on regular crust, so i called and asked what my order said on the screen and they had it correctly it was just made wrong, so I asked if they could send another of the correct pizza or if I could go trade it in and the owner of the establishment started arguing with me that we got what we ordered..WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?? Instead of offering to fix the problem she made me very upset by saying there was nothing they could do nothing was wrong that I was wrong and if I wanted I could get my money back but ONLY IF I BROUGHT THE PIZZA BACK. Hahaha what are you gonna resale it??? Gross. Hate this franchise location. I drive an extra 10 mins to go to the covina one. Glendoras owners are terrible. We have been ordering pizza from this Round Table for nearly 8 years and have always been fairly satisfied. They don't deliver to our house but we drive 30 minutes round trip to pick it up. We don't mind since we enjoy the pizza..or at least used to. Recently we ordered one of their specialty pizzas and asked for it well done. When we brought it home, it not only was NOT well done (still doughy) but the bacon and sausage did not taste fresh at all. It had a really bad after taste and it made the pizza inedible. We called and they offered to make us another pizza. Great. But when we asked if they could give us a discount off of our next order due to the INCONVENIENCE of driving yet another 30 minutes they said "Its either a new pizza OR a 25% discount on your next pizza. Not both" The girl then told us that we could talk to a manager when we get there. Seeing that our current pizza was making us want to vomit we had no choice but to drive again. When we got there, the manager wasn't available. WTF? We were told we would get a phone call from a manager to see what they can do. Days pass and nothing so we call in. We had the lovely opportunity (sarcasm) to speak with the manager MARIA. Rude doesn't even begin to describe it. She asks "well did you get your pizza?" Um...yes...but after having to waste an HOUR of our evening driving back and forth. Where is the discount for the inconvenience? She then says "You got your pizza. I'll only offer you 20%." What happened to the 25%?!. Unbelievable. How people like her think they're in the business of customer service beats me. Best part? If you want to pay more for a Sub-mediocre pizza than any other Round Table, then by all means come here. It was Sunday around dinner time and only 2 people were in the dining room (I should've known something was wrong) I felt ripped off by their prices but was meeting a friend so I paid "The Fine." My friend had brought a coupon for $6 off any large pizza, so I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage. Talk about sticker shock. The price was $25.99 + tax - $6 coupon = $22.33. I then said to myself "Maybe the pizza will be really good." NOT!!! The pizza came out and I was not impressed in the least. The pepperoni was practically floating in oil and had to use about 10 paper towels to soak up the oil on the three slices I had. The sausage on the pizza was dried out as if it had been cooked days before and then tossed on the pizza to re-cook or reheat. The crust was ok but the other ingredients were sub-par for this price. Before writing this review I checked prices at other Round Tables and found their large four topping Primo pepperoni, linguiça, bacon, Italian sausage cost $18.99 + tax - $6 coupon= $14.70. That's almost an $8 difference for a 2 topping pizza vs a 4 topping pizza. Again, can you say "Rip-Off." To be fair we also ordered a piture of beer that was reasonably priced at about $11something but wasn't very cold even with a chilled piture and glasses. I had to assume their cooler wasn't working well or it was set to a higher temp to save money because although it was in the high 80's outside they chose to not have the air-conditioning running inside. They had ceiling fans going full speed. The experience was not very comfortable. The 2 customers that were there left shortly after we arrived and about 40 mins later a group of about 8 came in and then it seemed like the air came on for about 5mins. I wanted to get out of the heat and eat pizza, not go into restaurant and experience a higher humidity level inside because of their ovens and lack of air- conditioning. When we left there after about 1hr30min, It was definately cooler outside than inside. Bottom line.... Just an overpriced miserable experience at this Round Table pizza and if you want a really good pizza with quality toppings, just go to Petrillos on Route 66 in Glendora. I regret not going there myself as it is only about 1-2 miles away. read more
