I just had to review this place! We were spending a day in the city on one of the coldest days of the winter season Jan 12, 2026! So coming from The Lego Store on 5th ave we got instantly hungry when we passed Rosseta Bakery! At first sight you have huge glass windows displaying some huge sandwiches and pastries! Yes I mean huge! On entering you enter a brightly lit huge bakery with delightful scents of pure ecstasy! Your I'll have lots to choose from and it won't be easy! This place is huge and the staff is very friendly! ! There are so many options for food and dessert you will be there for there for a while (respectfully) of course. So so much to choose from ! Of you have a large appetite or just looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth.... this is your place! The have a spacious seating area where you can enjoy your choices! I thought it would me a noisy place but everyone is so busy enjoying there scrumptious delights it is a great place ! You have to try this place !!! Trust me you won't be sorry! Absolutely loved this bakery cafe, it was near our hotel and we visited it 3 times while in nyc for long weekend. Twice we had lunch which we tried sandwiches the baguette and classic Rosetta both crafted just like you'd get in Europe. Next time spelt a king Rosetta it was big enough to feed 2 (3 maybe) Also tried pastries the crème puff was magical! Everything we had was delicious. read more

Came for a quick snack after walking around the city. Place is clean and bright. They have wifi you can use. I got the little tiramisus cup and my friend got the salami flat bread. The flat bread was underwhelming. It was missing cheese. The little desert was good. I'd come back and try something else. read more

Loved how close this bakery was to the hotel. The air was fresh to. Nice big open windows to look outside. The pizza was huge. I could not finish it. The mozzarella and arugula was so fresh. Stopped by Rosetta Bakery for the first time to grab some sweets for an event! The interior is super bright and felt very clean. I wasn't sure what to get but the staff recommended getting a mini pastry assortment! It was excellent and everyone enjoyed them. A cutely decorated bakery with plenty of pastries and sandwiches! The store was decently busy on a weekend evening, but there was still seating available. Rosetta had a fun, rustic interior. The service was unremarkable. I really enjoyed looking through the large variety of delicious pastries and cakes. Every single option looked scrumptious. We stopped by Rosetta Bakery near Bryant Park and ordered a nice variety of items including their sandwiches, pizza slices, coffees, and a millefoglie cake. The food and prices overall was really good. The prosciutto in the sandwiches tasted fresh, the mozzarella and tomato combo was simple but delicious, and the pizza slices were loaded with toppings like mortadella. The pastries and desserts also looked amazing, and the millefoglie was light, flaky, and not overly sweet. The coffees were solid, but they don't have much of a syrup or flavor option, so keep that in mind if you like flavored drinks. Service was fast, but you are expected to bus your own table after eating. The space itself is on the smaller side with limited seating, so it can get crowded quickly, especially during lunchtime. Eating here was like dying and going to Italian heaven. The design and aesthetics are pristine. The display case with the sandwiches and pizza and the pastries These are the most outstanding canolis I've ever had. I ate one thinking I'd just have a quick treat before going to Wicked. Rosetta Bakery is an absolute gem! Their pastries are fresh and delicious and the sandwiches are perfectly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick treat -- highly recommend! We had their salami and ham sandwiches with 2 iced latte. The girl taking our order for some reason put the order wrong and gave us one hot latte and when we brought it up, the barista I think dumped the hot coffee over ice and gave it to us which was real bad. I had to get up and go back and ask for a remake. Both him and the girl argued back which was not nice but he ended up remaking the coffee which was much better but the fact that they didn't own up to their obvious mistake and tried to dump the hot coffee over ice and have it to us was very disappointing. They may have a great location in a busy touristy part of town, they may have a bright and spacious interior to serve many customers at once, they may be popular with the sheer volume of people flow and an attractive exterior - certainly attracted me - and they may even offer nicely prepared food (although the almond tart I bought was too sweet for me and I left most of it uneaten) ... Unfortunately, all of these merits were ruined for me when their counter staff epitomized the phrase "service with a snarl"! I was surprised that a cafe/bakery this size does not provide a good selection of teas, and the counter staff was super impatient by yelling at me that - no! we don't have Early Grey! And (stop standing there to ask me questions!) go over there to pick up your tea bag if you want tea! And what? Non-dairy milk? No we don't have any of those! And (how stupid can you be to not know that) whatever you are looking for is behind you on that counter! **The phrases inside the parentheses are my personal interpretation of the attitude, not actual words spoken to me.** I truly regretted my decision to enter the premises. We grabbed some pastries to go here during a recent trip to NY. The pastries were tasty and well balanced. The Nutella croissant had a surprising citrus (think orange blossom flavor) taste in the croissant which helped balance the sweetness some. Was in New York with my husband for his conference and we found this bakery from a list on yelp. It was close to our hotel and decided to try it. So glad we did. The staff provided excellent service and the place was clean, bright and welcoming. We ordered turkey sandwich on baguette bread, latte and two apple pastries. Food was delicious and fresh. My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after several hours of walking through crazy crowds of tourists. We were sold and hungry. The line moved quickly and the staff was super friendly and helpful. My wife ordered salami pizza slice and I went with artist choke mushroom, and ham. The "slices" were huge Sicilian style and they were delicious. Perfect crunch to the crusty and the toppings were outstanding. After that I had an authentic Italian espresso that tasted like I was back in Napoli. We took home two pastries; croissants one filled with Nutella and the other work a raspberry compote. It is one of the best bakeries in New York. I was waiting for a while for this spot to open, and they been expanding all over New York. There are many different things to choose from once you enter the bakery. Many of these are items with bread, such as a variety of focaccia, pastries, baked goods, and sandwiches. All looked good to eat, so I wanted everything but instead opted for the pepperoni focaccia. It was tasty, and the ends with the Crispy crust were extra good. Got multiple pastries from Rosetta Bakery today and was particularly impressed by their apple pie. Unlike most American apple pies, the apple pieces weren't too sweet and kept that crunch and crisp. Split it 4 ways and everyone in my party enjoyed it. The tiramisu had a liquid coffee filling. Cannoli cream had a tint of orange flavor but was too sweet in my opinion. Pastry was crispy and buttery. Server was nice and patient and explained what each pastry was. There wasn't a long line. The cafe interior is brightly lit and clean, but the restroom was slightly dirty. Much better than most public New York City restrooms though. I know it's hard to keep it clean so props to the cafe. The only pastry I was disappointed by was the ventaglio. The sugary coating was uneven, with some parts lacking sweetness and other parts overly thick. Parts of the pastry was too thick and dense, lacking the light flaky texture I was expecting. Overall, while it looked golden and beautiful, the texture and consistency didn't deliver.
