Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese
    Jason R.

Toasties used to be my every day breakfast place when I worked on the east side over ten years ago. Fast forward to this week, my office is a few blocks from here, and my prior office was about a block from here, but I had no idea this location was here. It was the same experience where they have a lot of staff, who are always pleasant and immediate greet you and take your order. I was surprised that the pricing was still extremely fair. I believe $3.90 (tax included) for a bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was excellent, as I was always used to. I would recommend this place to anyone who works in the area or just looking for breakfast or lunch.

They make everything fresh from salads to sandwiches and even have daily specials. This little deli was such a refreshing find during our stay! The salad and sandwich we ordered were absolutely delicious and freshly made. The employees were super friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain how to order. I give it a 10 out of 10! Expect to stand in line to order this place is booming

toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese

I was on a mission to find an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, but when I went in, there were so many options, and it took me a moment to remember why I had walked into here. The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful. You can tell that they want to serve you as fast as possible. There are three places where you can get food served. The first place is where you can order salads and section 4 sandwiches, and then further down, there is a section for hot plates. A man outside asked for money, and I suggested food. He immediately ordered the hot plate with yellow rice, chicken, and gravy. It looked amazing. I stuck with my original plan of getting an everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, and I am so glad I did. The veggie cream cheese has real veggies in it. I'm gonna keep this place saved as one of my favorite bagels in New York. Carrots scallions meat celery can't really tell but something crunchy really good. The bagel was perfectly toasted and delicious. I'm gonna keep this place saved as one of my favorite bagels in New York.

Great lunch spot, full deli, salad bar and menu. Many long-time employees, efficient and kind. Dependable option for a range of things.

We were walking around the Rockefeller center area early morning while on Christmas vacation. My kids wanted a NY deli breakfast. I turned to yelp and found Toasties. As soon as I walked in this was the kind of deli I grew going to when I lived in NY, so I knew this was the perfect spot. The service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere gave you NY in a hurry vibes, people coming in ordering and leaving. We sat down to eat and of course I had to get a baconeggncheese with a regular coffee. It put everyone in good spirits to continue walking around the city!

Nice fast, hot, and tasty breakfast! You can build your own breakfast sandwich. You get a choice of bread, bagel, roll, ect then can add what you want to it, from sausage, bacon, egg, cream cheese, to salmon, tomato ect. Stop in and grab a fast breakfast bite!

The best bagel I've had in years. Classic NYC counter service, lots of options. Relaxed casual atmosphere, limited seating.

First time around we came in, got 2 Pinot Grecio for drinks, not bad wine goes well w the sandwiches. Sandwiches we tried, La Schiacciata del boss , soo good love the truffle cream next the La Goloza , such a great combo w the mortadella & pesto. Next time around we had La Toscana , another great sandwich w the salami, pecorino & truffle honey. & La paradiso very good as well with the mortadella, Stracciatella & pistachio cream. You gotta love the fresh ingredients & freshly baked focaccia it comes out pipping hot, that alone is mouth watering. Restaurant is small & can feel a bit cramped either while u wait or if u get lucky & get a seat. There's limited seating, quick service, price wise on the high side but the sandwiches are delicious , definitely worth a try this was a great find. But it turned out to be a fantastic meal and fully satisfied my endless craving for well-made soup dumplings. The scallion pancakes were excellent, too, crispy without being greasy and packed with scallions. I had seen a lot of reviews praising the General Tso's chicken, but I've honestly avoided the Chinese-American dish for years. Too often it's overly sweet with a heavy batter. Still, after seeing plate after plate come out to nearby tables, I decided to give it a try. What a surprise. It was a huge portion of fresh white meat chicken with a light coating and a perfectly balanced sauce, served piping hot. We couldn't finish it (knowing we had a big dinner later), but I kept going back for "just one more piece" more times than I'd like to admit. Reservations aren't accepted for parties of two, but in the late afternoon it wasn't busy at all, we walked right in with no wait. Would absolutely come back.

I have three big guys with me and sometimes quick lunches need to be more filling than fast food options, so we chose Alidoro's under Rockefeller Plaza. We could walk to it form the hotel and it was in the middle off all we wanted to show the boys on their first day (first time) in the city. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
