This is mainly a take-out spot, with only a couple of small tables inside. They have three separate sections for salads, sandwiches and comfort food. For each section they have a separate line to order. I love their food so much, I come here at least once a week to get lunch. I usually get the Slop Dan (pastrami) sandwich, or the salmon filet or the rosemary chicken. All of them have such wonderful flavor. The quantity is also good for the price. For sandwiches, they make it anyway I ask. For meals, I can pick any two sides. The staff members are super friendly. They always smile and greet. Some of them have been there since I started going there in 2017. During lunch hours, the place gets packed and the place operates extremely efficiently. read more

What a gem! They have so many items to choose from, you are bound to find something you like!! I ordered coscia on a roll (prosciutto, fresh mozz, Romaine lettuce, sun dried tomato pate, olive oil and balsamic vinegar) (~$15 including tip) I love how much prosciutto they gave me because they aren't skimpy w it at all. Everything was SO FRESH. The bread was not stale. The lettuce wasn't wilted, which is a majorrrrrrr ick of mine. The mozz was really fresh, like they claimed. The only thing I would've liked, was a little less balsamic. But other than that, such a great sandwich and I was definitely satisfied and will definitely be back I ordered in the morning, so it was relatively quick since they have a lot of employees but I do imagine that during lunch, it will be a little bit of a wait. There's some seating inside read more

*** NOW OPEN SATURDAY *** Solid breakfast/lunch spot in the theater district, which has more offerings than other deli-type establishments in the area along with reasonable prices. I usually get bagels or breakfast platters, but I know a lot of co-workers who order sandwiches from there. They are now open Saturday (the bottom right corner of one of the pics shows a sign, "We are open Saturday"). Bottom line, the food is tasty and the service is fast! read more

Toasties used to be my every day breakfast place when I worked on the east side over ten years ago. Fast forward to this week, my office is a few blocks from here, and my prior office was about a block from here, but I had no idea this location was here. It was the same experience where they have a lot of staff, who are always pleasant and immediate greet you and take your order. I was surprised that the pricing was still extremely fair. I believe $3.90 (tax included) for a bagel with scallion cream cheese. The bagel was excellent, as I was always used to. I would recommend this place to anyone who works in the area or just looking for breakfast or lunch. read more

A quick search for a sandwich spot that would cater to my tuna craving led me here. Came in, signs were clear indicating where to order and where to pay. Staff here move fast yet don't lose sight of customer service. I was able to place my order and didn't wait long before taking a seat to eat my sandwich. It was just what I was craving, tasty, fresh and the tuna wasn't overbearing or an insane amount. I'm curious to try some of their other offerings. read more

We had our second breakfast in NYC at this Toasties. We looked up the menu before we went so we wouldn't hold up a possible line upon arrival, which was a smart move. We all ordered our preferred breakfast combos and then the boys and I went to get a table while the husband got in line to pay for our order. This place had a decent size seating area in the back, which wasn't immediately visible from the street entrance and as most people seemed to be getting things to-go, the seating was not crowded. We were all able to bus the table and use the restroom before we left, which was more convenient than walking back to the hotel. Great, quick breakfast. No complaints! read more

They make everything fresh from salads to sandwiches and even have daily specials. This little deli was such a refreshing find during our stay! The salad and sandwich we ordered were absolutely delicious and freshly made. The employees were super friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain how to order. I give it a 10 out of 10! I got the local combo. It was amazing. I saw them making salads which also looked delicious. Definitely go here for a great lunch.

I was on a mission to find an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, but when I went in, there were so many options, and it took me a moment to remember why I had walked into here. The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful. You can tell that they want to serve you as fast as possible. There are three places where you can get food served. The first place is where you can order salads and section 4 sandwiches, and then further down, there is a section for hot plates. A man outside asked for money, and I suggested food. He immediately ordered the hot plate with yellow rice, chicken, and gravy. It looked amazing. I stuck with my original plan of getting an everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, and I am so glad I did. The veggie cream cheese has real veggies in it. I'm gonna keep this place saved as one of my favorite bagels in New York. Carrots scallions meat celery can't really tell but something crunchy really good. The bagel was perfectly toasted and delicious. I'm gonna keep this place saved as one of my favorite bagels in New York. read more

This was a second visit for us and the food was spot on. Breakfast for two for under $20 is hard to beat in the Times Square zone. I had a double egg sandwich with bacon and American cheese. My wife had had French toast and both were very good. We ordered online from our hotel on 50th street and walked down and lucked into one of the few tables they have. I watched them process orders like a machine. Walk in orders moved very quickly. When I visit NYC I try not to eat some place I've tried before but Toasties is an exception to that rule. read more

We were walking around the Rockefeller center area early morning while on Christmas vacation. My kids wanted a NY deli breakfast. I turned to yelp and found Toasties. As soon as I walked in this was the kind of deli I grew going to when I lived in NY, so I knew this was the perfect spot. The service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere gave you NY in a hurry vibes, people coming in ordering and leaving. We sat down to eat and of course I had to get a baconeggncheese with a regular coffee. heard a lot about this place from coworkers...after months I decided to give it a try I ordered the "meatloaf" and "mac n cheese". my coworkers lied. that stuff reminded me of tv dinners from the 1970s. form molded Salisbury meat substance and the pasta "cheese" concoction was a mess. the low standard food there is embarrassing. A mid go-to for a quick lunch. The atmosphere is really casual, so I guess it's a convenient spot for a quick bite. But the quality of the food did not meet my expectations. Emily Waits Sandwich (6/10): The bread was kind of stale, which was a huge disappointment and kind of ruined the sandwich for me. Came here because of the yelp reviews and ratings. Being our first time in NY, the workers here are super friendly, patient and helpful!! With such a huge menu to choose from, we ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, French toast, Philly sandwich, house combo sandwich and chicken parm sandwich. It took a little bit because they had to cook our order, which is totally understandable! This place gets crowded so we ordered at a good time! The French toast was good. It wasn't super eggy. It had just enough cinnamon too! The bagel was delicious! Funny tho, cause it was just a bagel, but it warm and toasted with cream cheese in the middle!!! It was so good!!! And it was big! The chicken parm sandwich was good, very filling! There was a good balance of sauce to chicken. It wasn't dry or over flowing with sauce. The house combo sandwich (it has salami, pastrami, cheese and coke slaw) actually was from yelp. I didn't see it on the regular menu. It was good too! The meats weren't too salty like some other places can be. Lastly, the Philly sandwich (roast beef w/cheese, onions and peppers - but we left out the peppers and onions). This sandwich probably could've used the peppers and onions for moisture and texture cause it was a bit dry and one noted. I think it needed the onions and peppers for the crunch, but my daughter doesn't eat those things. But she said it was good and was happy without them in it. Overall, we had a great experience and delicious meal! I would definitely recommend this place!!! read more

This is such a great hole in the wall. The food is amazing and the service is fast, even during the super busy weekday. I was tempted on rating this lower so it won't be discovered by fellow travelers like me. The pastrami was flavored perfectly, and the soup had plenty of chicken and noodles. Keeps up the excellent work! read more

My go to sandwich place when working in the office. The sandwiches are reasonably priced both when you build your own, or order one of their sandwiches off the menu. If you go during peak lunch time, the line can be a little bit long, so recommend ordering online. I usually get the "Eat your Greens" sand which, and for a veggie sandwich it's really stuffed with all the toppings. I really love the sweet pepper, avocado, and carrots, along with the honey mustard dressing. They also offer salads and smoothies! read more

Some of the fastest and best sandwiches you can get in midtown. Be careful during peak hours as it gets crazy busy. I like to order ahead and then just weasel through the crowd to pick up my order with no hassle. They make a mean turkey club and the tuna BLT is so good. If you're looking to be naughty and treat yourself then order the Chicken Cheddar! I eat here several times a week. read more
