Food is amazing!! Especially the Deep dish pizza and the cannolis. OMG the cannolis!! The place was packed tight even with Stage 5 Covid restrictions. So, we decided to order for pick up. Ordered Deep dish with pepperoni, sausage and jalapeños. We also ordered a thin crust pepperoni a Pepsi and an order of cannolis. Picked up and deep dish didn't have jalapeños and they didn't give us the Pepsi. Thin crust pizza was awful. A week later I was still thinking of that deep dish and the cannolis. Ordered deep dish, wings, Pepsi and cannolis. I had to ask them for the Pepsi 3 times!! When we got home we realized they skipped the wings and gave us two orders of cannolis. Two weeks later we thought we would try one more time and ordered for delivery. Ordered deep dish, two orders of wings, Pepsi and you guessed it,,,,Cannolis. No sauce for the wings as ordered and we ordered spicy garlic but got Buffalo wings instead they were terrible. The Parmesan were good. I think even though the deep dish is great. My first introduction to Chicago-style pizza was growing up in Las Vegas with Rosatis. *Let it be known that I believe Ginos is better than Lou's (only Chicago people will get this). I was so happy when Rosati's opened a location though in the Austin-area. The bonus was that it's a full restaurant/bar and not just a pick-up counter. The owners are friendly and super-involved so it truly is family-run. So here's my suggestions.... If you're unsure of deep dish, or if you're a deep-dish snob like me, then get the thin crust. I think they have the best thin crust ever. If you're wondering what's the big deal about deep dish, then of course try it, but I personally only eat deep dish when I'm actually in Chicago (there really is a difference). Pizza: get what you like, but the pro-tip is to get giardiniera if you like veggies and spice. Wings: Always good, but I would request them to be "extra crispy and wet." Pasta: Better than you would expect for a place traditionally know for its pizza. I've only ever tried fettuccine & Alfredo with grilled chicken. Salad: Pretty standard, but I enjoy whatever brand or In-house Cesar dressing they use. The first thing I noticed is that this place does not enforce social distancing indoors so do not come here if you are worried about that. We had spicy garlic wings and mild wings and they were good. We also had the classic thin crust pizza which supposedly are known for. If that's the case then I would say forget them. It wasn't horrible but I cannot see going back for anything else . Very nice people from the phone order girl to the delivery person and very good packaging of the pizza, but the Chicago style pizza tasted terrible. Soft crust, canned spaghetti sauce smelling/tasting tomato sauce, and in general just not a tasty pizza. I understand this isn't Chicago but this was nothing even close to how a good Chicago style pizza should taste. The tomato sauce really tasted like some sort of Chef Boyardee canned spaghetti & meatballs. The crust was soft / bendy and not hard / flaky like how a Chicago style deep dish pizza typically is. Upgrading to 5 stars. Had their deep dish pizza the other night - delish. Perfect buttery crust with mushrooms and authentic Chicago sausage with fennel. Best deep dish I've had in Austin (sorry Conan's). The opening hiccups Rosatis had are gone; service is smoother and wait times much better. Never had Chicago deep dish before but wanted to try it out because the cheese pull photos looked so inviting! My bf and I ordered a Chicago deep dish pie, mozzarella sticks and zeppele. Pizza - pretty tasty! Reminds me a bit of L&B Spumoni Gardens pizza (my absolute favorite from NYC). Only complaint was that I wasn't a huge fan of the crust. Which it was doughier. Mozzarella sticks - good! Crispy shells and yummy cheese inside. Marinara sauce was great and flavorful. Zeppele - honestly we were so disappointed with this. The portion size is HUGE and it comes with Nutella, but I'm not sure if the batch we got was made incorrectly or if it's just really made this way. My bf and I both tried it at the same time and were shocked to find it SUPER salty. I'm not sure if they mixed up the salt and sugar?? But it was not edible at all. We had to toss it. Such a shame. Was my favorite pizza place...very authentic. But....they changed their oven to increase throughput and the conveyor just doesn't compare to the brick oven. Went back several times hoping it was a learning curve thing...but the thin crust is still not really crispy anymore...asking for well done doesn't make a difference. Beautiful new spot, good patio and not much pizza in Cedar Park especially Chicago style! I placed my order online at 4pm for a 6pm pick up. I had heard there where delays and sometimes people having to wait for their order. So two hours should give them ample time to get it right. Right? I arrived at just after 6pm. Excited and hungry! They have a special pick up area off the main side of the restaurant. 3/4 people frantically answering phones, standing around and trying to Expedite orders. I gave them my name and Few mins goes by and they show me two boxes! Yes! Pizza is done, no salad or wings. It goes longer. After 15/20 mins everything comes out. I leave, phone rings and almost home. No message but stop and now check the pizza. No Pizza just bread sticks. I call back and tell me they forgot the pizza. Wasn't the pizza the first thing done? Big face palm!! Drive back, apologies and they are kinda dumbfounded. I'm 45 mins late for family dinner. Chicago pizza is hot garbage. Sorry, after being in the warmer and being reheated it was dry, non existent sausage and salty. So many better options in town. I love any good pizza and been to Chicago monthly until corona. First I want to say that I have had two previous good experiences getting takeout including a thin crust pizza and at lunch I had an Italian beef with a couple of slices. Now my family isn't huge pizza fans so I usually have to insist when we are going to have a pizza night. But that puts additional pressure to make sure that I get a good pie. I tried to order a half Hawaiian and half combo. The young lady informed me that I couldn't do that but she didn't explain why. I had originally tried to build my own on their website but many ingredients were not available like Canadian bacon. I ended up getting the entire pie as a Hawaiian and to our surprise, they use bbq flavored sauce. I have never seen that before and it caught me off guard. That is somewhat on me for not reading the menu but I think the person taking the order could have called that out because it is different from most pizzerias. When I got home and carried in the box, I noticed that my hand was wet and greasy from the backside of the box. I also went back to my car and cleaned up a greasy spot on my leather seat where the box had been resting. When I opened the box to start eating, their seemed to be an inordinate amount of moisture. When I tried to pick up a piece, the cheese and topping slid off the top and the crust was just a sopping mess. It had less structural integrity than a lasagna noodle. We were hungry so we tried a couple of smaller bites but then we noticed the bbq flavor to the red sauce. With the existing sweetness from the pineapple - we found the bbq did not match well. I am assuming some people like this since it looks to be a regular menu item - but it misses the mark by a mile for me. When I called the restaurant back, I was put on hold for some time. Eventually I spoke to the take out person who spent several minutes sharing tips for an improved experience in the future and explaining why I ended up with the pie I did based on feedback from mother customers. They did offer to out me in touch with a manager at the end of the call but I had run out of patience by then. I will say that say that the discussion was conducted very politely. OMG the Chicago style pizza is amazing! The Italian sausage with extra cheese and I put black olives. The crust is perfect and not a crumb left behind. The sauce has a sweet taste. I love their fried mushrooms for appetizer and canoli for dessert (2 so there's plenty for 2-they are big!). The small pizza also is more than enough for 2-3 people. It's like 5 pounds! read more

Placed an order online for pizza, Italian beef, and dough (beer) nuggets on Friday at 5:18p for pick up. Arrived there at 6:25p for pick up and was told they were just putting the sandwich together and it would be about 10 minutes. Okay, no big deal. Two other customers were already there in front of me waiting on their order as well. The girls at the counter were clearly flustered as they were constantly apologizing about the delay. It was clear the kitchen has issues with keeping up with all the orders coming in and are unable to deliver as promised. So now it's 6:35p and I ask again about my order. The employee says she'll check and scurries back into the kitchen for a few minutes. She comes back and says they are getting the sandwich together. Wait, I thought that was happening at 6:25p! One of the customers that was waiting finally got her order while the other one was told they couldn't find her order (after she waited 2 HOURS)!!! Mind you, the entire time we were waiting the customer was told they were "boxing up the order right now". Nope. That was false. They couldn't be honest with her from the get go and delivered a MAJOR disappointment. It was now 6:45p and they have yet to bring my order to the counter. They absolutely have no time management experience and lack transparency. The staff has no choice but to constantly assure impatient customers that the orders placed hours ago are "coming right up". Well, it's now 6:50p and FINALLY my order is ready! Yay!!! Well, kind of if you like your dinner lukewarm. To be fair, I'm sure the food would've tasted much better if it was hot. Albeit, the authenticity of Chicago-style food comes through. As a Chicago native, I had my hopes set high for this Rosati's. Unfortunately, my first experience was not memorable in a good way. The deep dish pizza is not that good. The crust is not tasty and the pizza is very inconsistent. One I got was like a inch thick and another less than half inch thick, like a third inch thick, more like a thin pizza with hardly any cheese. I'll try again in a year, maybe kitchen too busy? I'm from Chicago and know Rosatis. The pizza here is just like home. The double dough is my fav! Great selection of beers, my only disappointment is happy hour and Sunday football $3 beer deals only include domestic, gross cheap beer. Wish they had some deals on some local beers! Dough nuggets are great portions and delicious, salads good portions too! Love to bring my dog and sit outside and watch football on Sunday. Was sad when we went at like 1 for the Sunday mimosa deal and they were out already. Gotta stock up for Sunday's, especially if you have caraf deals!! read more
