This place is great. Multiple TVs always showing a different game, the pizzas are delicious (and there's quite a bit of variety) and the beers on tap are outstanding. It's always absolutely packed, but the servers and bartenders are quick and efficient and get to you quickly. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat this isn't it. It's loud and crowded every time we go, but the food is excellent and priced reasonably. Highly recommended.

Normally we house the pizza so fast I forget to snap a picture! This is the pepperoni and basil pizza (mid-eat, LOL) and it's SO good!

Talk about a new staple in the date night/meetup routine. Pinthouse Pizza is always a GREAT option for pizza! The restaurant is warm and inviting and there's always a wide range of people in there ranging from families, to young professionals (some even working, talk about a great office! LOL) to older folks. The vibe is warm and inviting and it shows in the clientele. A great selection of Pizzas - classic (the pepperoni and basil is a personal fave), specialty and build your own (duh, it is a pizza place), but also appetizers, salads and even dessert! AND and wide range of micro brews too! With tons of seating, TV's everywhere, a great staff, great prices (they even offer a military/veteran discount!!!) and an overall great menu, it's a THE spot to hang out for a date night or with family and friends to just chill.

Das Pretzel ($7.50) with queso and mustard

Pinthouse Pizza is always a solid option for pizza! There's TONS of seating so it's a great spot to hang out with family or friends while enjoying delicious food, grabbing drinks, or watching TV. They make their own dough, sauce, pretzels, bread, and salad dressings and have great customer service. FAST FACTS: * Parking - there's a decent size lot around the building with plenty of spots * Reservations - no but there's tons of seating inside * Online ordering - available on their website for pickup or delivery through third party services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, or GrubHub * Happy Hour - specials on Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm ($5 pints, $7 glasses of wine, and $5 shareables) * Lunch specials on Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm * Free arcade games and table games available to play SERVICE - I placed an online order for pick up at 7:20 pm on a Sunday night with an estimated ready time of 7:45. There is a designated area for takeout orders which is great but it was a little hectic. The main worker running the counter was hustling to get orders out as quickly as possible. My order was ready at 7:55 pm so a little behind schedule but everything was exactly as I ordered it. PRICING - The total was $25.71 after tax ($1.96) but before tip for a Das Pretzel ($7.50) and small 10 inch The Works pizza ($13.75 + $2.50 for added ricotta cheese). The standard prices for the pizzas and other food items are very reasonable but I did feel like $2.50 for adding a few dollops of ricotta cheese is a little steep. DAS PRETZEL (8/10) - The pretzel is a great size, has the perfect amount of salt, and has a nice, soft texture on the inside. You get to choose 2 sauces for dipping. The queso and mustard were both delicious! I'd get this again. THE WORKS PIZZA (8/10) - This pizza is loaded with toppings... it comes with red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, green peppers, garlic mushrooms, and red onions. Everything was super fresh! You can customize the toppings so I added ricotta cheese for $2.50. The dough is made from scratch and you can tell... it has a nice chewy texture that I enjoy. The small 10 inch size is perfect for a single person. I'd order this again! I've eaten at other Pinthouse locations but this was my first experience at the Round Rock location and was impressed overall! They have a great selection of food and drinks, quality ingredients, reasonable pricing, and great service. It checks every box! I'd definitely recommend Pinthouse Pizza to others in the Round Rock area!

Came to Pinthouse for a family dinner and left completely obsessed with their pizzas. I'm already planning to come back to try more of their pies. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Great for big groups or celebrations with good food and beer. We started with the pretzel, which is massive and comes with spicy brown mustard and queso. It was warm, soft on the inside, and perfectly salted. The dips paired really well with it, and it was a great sharable starter. For pizzas, we ordered the Ooh La La and the Shroomin' Goat. The Ooh La La has an amazing balance of spicy and sweet. The hot honey is the standout and pairs perfectly with the arugula and pepperoni. My personal favorite was the Shroomin' Goat. If you love garlic and creamy goat cheese, this is the pie to get. It's topped with big mushrooms and fresh arugula, and every bite was baked to perfection. I would honestly come back just for this pizza. Service was fantastic. Everything came out fast, hot, and fresh. Highly recommend this spot!

Very nice place. Has a hipster vibe to it. The female bartender was very liberal and was not serving me when I was needing another beer. I feel like she was trying to pace me on my beer consumption. I'm 270 lbs and almost 50 years old. Staying in a hotel next door. I feel like I was being judged by her.

Today the Wednesday Lunch Bunch ventured to pint house pizza in Round Rock. It is located just off of interstate 35 very close to a restaurant center. Lots of restaurants like Hopdoddy's, cover three, Jack Allen's, salt traders. It is a large open restaurant with tons of community style tablesl ann a centrally located bar. We were there for lunch so it wasn't that busy but it gets quite busy at night. You order your pizza or sandwiches at the order counter near the door and then have a seat. You can order a beer at the bar if you'd like beer. I opted for the pear honey pizza and a pear salad both of which were delicious. The food arrived promptly and it was just as good as it looked.. It's a great place for groups. Give it a try if you haven't already

We love coming to the round rock location. Service is always nice! The person bussing the tables he was very attentive and friendly and brought us a box of our leftovers. Their new chicken bacon ranch pizza is amazing. We also have the pretzel which was 10/10. If you like IPAs the electric jellyfish is a must. It's typically pretty packed in here but we went Fridays for lunch and was not many people.

Pinthouse Pizza is the perfect place to come with a large group to enjoy some pizzas and good company. The restaurant is set up like a large food hall with a bar in the center. You can order your food at the counter, and they'll bring it out to wherever you choose to sit. I came during lunch on a weekday, so they were not busy or crowded. All the staff were very nice and helpful. The person at the counter was able to help us pick our pizza as well as give some adjustment recommendations based on our wants. My boyfriend and I got a large pizza for just the 2 of us, and we were able to take home half of the pizza as leftovers. We ordered the "Ooh La La" which was a great mix of savory and sweet from the spicy honey. We also ordered the "Das Pretzal" with queso as the dipping sauce. This pretzel is probably the best pretzel I've ever had. It was super dense and soft and was complimented so well with the queso. I don't typically eat pizza at restaurants often, but this place seems like a great place to go to to watch the game or just to hang out with friends to grab a drink.

I'm conflicted in writing this review because although the pizza was good, nothing else about my experience was. The establishment is "order at the counter and then find your own seat", which is fine for most places but for a place of this size and popularity, does not work at all, in fact, it is completely asinine. We came with a group of 4 adults and 2 small children for dinner. There is nobody at the front to tell you how the ordering/seating system works so we were just waiting around until we noticed people just seating themselves (which was annoying as we were there before them). Again, fine, whatever, so we go to find a place and though the place is massive, there was literally no place to sit. No tables, no spots at the bar, not even standing room. We literally looked for a table for 20 minutes before we found one, then, we had to go wait in line and order food because if we did it the other way around, we wouldn't have had a place to eat. This is such an incredibly stupid system. Honestly, if there was just someone at the front who took your name and then let you know when a table was ready, this would alleviate so much of this problem. The staff, though kind, seemed to be overworked. We needed to find someone to clear off the table we eventually found and then we needed to talk to three different staff to restock plates for our food, because yeah, they don't give you plates either, you have to get them from by the soda fountains. Just bring them when the food is delivered! You have such a fancy GPS system to find where our table number is but you can't bring plates?!? The place is incredibly loud which was fine but just beware. There were tons of groups, and people watching sports, and so many kids' sports groups. The food was good, I will say that again but is it the best pizza in town, no, and in my opinion, definitely not worth having to put up with the actual restaurant itself to eat it. Oh and though I'm not a beer person per say, I can usually find something I enjoy. After getting a flight, I can say that I did not enjoy any of their beers. There are so many other breweries in the Austin area which serve much better brews.

Let me review by the description of this place.. Family friendly- yes definitely, could see groups with small kids , sports groups , bigger groups, etc Creative pizzas- yes, and one of the best in the area. Will definitely go back for this!! House-brewed beers - oh yes! That was one of the most refreshing best brews we had in the area! Overall: great combo of amazing pizza and fresh beer! Loved the ambiance even though it was really loud-matches a Fri night vibe. Tightly packed seating, but was worth the visit. Fair warning: it's pretty popular place so it gets really packed. It's first come first serve seating, and open bench style seating. You order at the front, get a buzzer, find a seat(super hard to find on Fri evenings), waiter brings the food to your seat . You buy the beer at a separate counter, staff is very helpful at the bar area to help you find the right beer.

We enjoy pizza and beer all the time here. If you are overwhelmed in crowded restaurants I wouldn't reccomend, pinthouse bc it is always busy and may be hard to have conversations without being side tracked. (That was completely separate from food review but thought I'd note that...). Anyways pinthouse is the best and we love it here great food and service.

Stopped by this pinthouse location at Round rock recently. It definitely has similar vibes to the Ben White location with spacious indoors and plenty bench/booth seating. There's a Christmas tree near some of the benches which was a bit weird for October lol. Not sure if they set it up early or if it's there all the time. Beer and pizza is delicious as always!

Another delectable hit. Pizza has lovely topping and yummy crust. The pepperoni and basil here is my favorite and surprisingly my whole party enjoyed it more than supreme. Pretzel came out hot and the mustard has that nice kick. They should consider pretzel bites. Sitting and order is simple and price is pretty good. Ranch is 50 cents extra and the jalapeño ranch is just okay... not worth I think.

Dropped in to kill some time and grab a bite to eat... and left super impressed yet again! The vibe here is perfectly laid-back....chill atmosphere, no pretension, just a spot to relax with great drinks and food. Shoutout to the beer master Eric behind the bar! He's incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he pours. He shared this awesome line that stuck with me: "Every good beer has a story, and the story should be told!" Made the whole experience feel more personal. I went with tap #13, Juicy Fish--a hazy IPA from WeldWerks Brewing Co. at 8.6% ABV. Wow, what a juicy, flavorful beast! Packed with tropical hops, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink for that ABV. Definitely hit the spot. For food, I had 5 wings tossed in the Blazin Ghost Pepper sauce. It's described as a smoky blend with mild ghost pepper heat, and it delivered exactly that....great smokiness upfront, building warmth without incinerating your mouth (perfect if you like heat but not torture level). Wings were crispy, juicy, and tender too. Rounded it out with the Carnivore pizza, loaded with meats and just the right amount of char on the crust. Hand stretched and fresh, it paired really well with the beer. If you're in the Pflugerville area and love craft beer (especially with knowledgeable staff who actually talk about it), wings, or pizza, this place is a winner. I've tried many of their beers and have brought friends here to hang out as well. My favorite so far is the coffee stout. Overall, Slackers Brewing is a great local spot with good beer, a friendly vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I popped in with a few friends and it was a mixture of NA beer, regular beer and mimosas. After pouring the bubbles they asked how much OJ we wanted and that was great to get as much or little. I will saw that the OJ was from a single serve Tropanica juice. lol I mean, I can't impinge the have a run on mimosas. Who knows...it could happen. I found the vending machine very interesting as it held different packets of various items. Legos, Main Character Energy Starter Pack (no clue what's inside), Mystery Socks, Pokemon, etc. Unique for sure. they had a fuzzball table, along with picnic seating inside, a bar area with maybe 10 seats or so and then the brewing equipment then the door out to the patio. Yes, it's a converted parking lot..but hey, what can you do in suburbia? Anyhoo, there were also an inside area for kids and and outside play ground ish, with these different huts. They had various games and we picked up Disturbed Friends. Now this game was definitely 18+ cause these cards were raunchy! OMG too much fun.

One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.

I want to give the staff a shout out! Both bartenders last night were absolutely amazing!…read more We had the pepperoni pizza, Thai Pizza, and the lemon pepper wings extra crispy! I shared with him that we had gotten married the day before, and he was genuinely excited for us! After we had finished our lunch, the manager came back by with an incredibly gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a celebratory dessert! To start off we placed our order and at the same time asked the waitress for extra chips for our app not minding if we had to pay extra. Waited a while for the food to come out, when it did they forgot the chips and by then the appetizer had already gone cold so we didn't bother. The tacos were okay except for the cheese that gets melted on the tortilla on one of them , it just tasted very greasy. The rice and beans that it came with were not good at all, not sure if you're able to tell in the picture but that rice was burnt, half of it was inedible, hard burned rice and the beans were cold. My fiancés fettuccine was too salty and she left 80% of it untouched. The only upside besides the other server who took our order and forgot our chips, our original server was friendly and nice. The drinks were the best thing here and the only thing worth the money. Everything else was not worth the money or hype.
