I love this place! I stop by here every time I get up to cedar park for work. Today we stopped by for a late lunch after a long work day. One of the guys on my crew is from Chicago and he was not expecting such a great Chicago deep dish in Texas. The buffalo chicken salad is one of my favorites to go and you have to get the dough bites. So much better than garlic knots! Great service from an overwhelmed staff. Rosati's is the real deal according to my Chicago born and raised girlfriend, now Texan. We ate on their outdoor patio and were not disappointed with our service. I used a yelp coupon to order some dough nuggets. They were good. Would only order them again in a big group. We shared a deep-dish pie that was awesome. Great service and food. Mother heard it was authentic Chicago style. Turns out it is. She and I are from Chicagoland. In our group we ordered multiple Italian beef sandwiches, a combo beef and sausage sandwich, a three cheese pasta dish and a pepperoni thin crust pizza. It was all wonderful. Mom said the sausage was how she remembers it with good flavor. We ordered the sandwiches juicy and they were the best example of Italian beef outside of Chicago that I could remember. Sure a lot of people think Chicago is deep dish, and this place has that too, but for a lot of us, a Chicago thin crust is where its at and this pie did not let us down. Was wonderful. Okay, wow! I lived in Chicago for ten years and I must say I am pretty impressed with Rosati's deep dish style pizza. It brought back a little taste of home. First and foremost, if you are not a fan of delicious, ooey-gooey cheese then this is type of pizza is not for you. Everything was baked wonderfully, was delivered nice and HOT, and had a very flavorful marinara to top it off. I personally recommend going with sautéed spinach and Italian sausage as a topping. The only set back is the extra pricing for individual toppings, but it is what it is. And when I'm hungry, I'll pay... lol We also got the mild boneless wings that were cooked and flavored nicely. The sauce was evenly spread, and I always appreciate a place that does not require 25 napkins to enjoy your saucy food. Overall, while a tad pricey, we would definitely go to Rosati's the next time we want to stuff our faces in cheese, cheese, and more cheese pizza. read more

I came back to try Rosati's again and I still can't do it. Ever since Mangia Pizza closed, my son and I have been looking for a substitute. I thought this might work since it was different from the food we ordered and weren't impressed with last time. Unfortunately, we still didn't like the food all that much. Love the one in Waco. This one is good so far but they skimp lots on toppings of the deep dish. If you see in this company picture the toppings are supposed to be to the top of the crust, a pizza pie. The deep dish I ordered two days ago was only half full of the toppings. Yes I don't expect to pay Dominos or Papa Johns prices at this place, but at $17 for a single Calzone (not a pizza, .. a Calzone), I did not know I was eating at the Waldorf Astoria either. Dough could be a baked a little longer so that it can serve as pocket for the contents and maybe add Italian seasoning to the crust or contents. The only reason I ordered a Calzone was because I was watching a Seinfeld episode in which Costanza was eating a Calzone with eggplant in it and he was holding the Calzone in that episode. Let me start by saying I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews but I also would like to let other know the truth of my experience at a location they are potentially looking to spend their hard earned money. So with that said here is my experience. My daughter and I were in the mood for pizza so we decided to come to this place. From the entrance we noticed dirty dishes at empty tables but chalked it up to "probably " they are busy and to wait to be seated. Upon coming to contact with one of the waitresses, she asked how many and wasn't friendly which is a downer as I appreciate good attitude. Again, I chalked it up to "maybe she's having a bad day", so we continue with our venture to eat at this place. I really should of just thanked her and left but regrettably I didn't. The waitress sat us down and before I can say anything, the table was dirty with some sort of liquid on the table. After a while I was able to get her attention. I pointed out the table was dirty and if she can please get us something to clean it up. She rolled her eyes, huffed and tossed a dirty rag for us to clean it up. She was rude. Needless to say, this was not the experience we came into this place of business to have. So I made the decision to leave and we did. I would never want anyone else to experience what my daughter and I experienced. I would not recommend this place. read more

I've left a review before and that was over a year ago. Just had the Cheef sandwich with hot Giardiniera peppers with fries. OMG a little slice of heaven on this fabulous Mother's Day. I've been wanting to try the sandwich and it certainly did not disappoint! I even ordered it from Favor and it was hot and fresh with the Au Jus sauce on the side. I won't dive into the whole Chicago vs. New York pizza debate. Why? Because people are weirdly passionate about pizza. And pizza debates, more than any other food debates, seemingly have a high-percentage chance to end in a fist fight. What I will say is that Rosati's has the best pizza I've tried in Austin. Granted, I have not tried many high end Austin pizza joints, because I am far too busy eating barbecue and other red meats, but from the pizza places I have tried, Rosati's is the best. I should specify that I mean deep dish, Chicago style pizza. There are fine pizza places such as Pinthouse Pizza that offer great thin crust options. But for deep dish, which I believe to be the most difficult pizza to make at home, Rosati's is where it's at. Highly recommended. read more

My husband and I were thrilled to hear that Texas actually had a Rosati's Pizza! We moved here 2 1/2 years ago from Wisconsin and soon came to realize that Texas doesn't have many places to go for a good pizza. We went to the Rosati's in Cedar Park on January 18th and could not say enough about the food, service, and friendly atmosphere! We started our meal with an appetizer of the breaded mushrooms...delish. We ordered the Combo Pizza/ thin crust. We were blown away at the amount of sauce and cheese on it. Of course, the cheese is 100% Wisconsin whole milk mozzarella! What a difference good cheese makes on a pizza! The sausage was amazing, along with every other ingredient on it. Our servers, Louise and Ariana were outstanding! It was quite a busy evening, and they were hustling! We had the wonderful opportunity to meet one of the owners, Shawn. She was so welcoming and shared her story of how Rosati's in Cedar Park came to be. We are customers for life! Thank y'all for a wonderful dining experience! I hate to do this because I actually love the Chicago style deep dish pizza but the service is so terrible! Have ordered take out a handful of times and always have to wait at least 15-30 minutes after my pickup time to get my food. Ordered delivery a few months ago and it took 2 hours to get my food! Tonight was the first time going back since that and my husband showed up on time, sat there for 20 minutes waiting and then the owner comes out to ask if he likes pepperoni because they have our cheese pizza away to the wrong customer. We ordered a cheese deep dish. He wanted to get out of there so he accepted the pepperoni pizza and they gave him a piece of cheesecake for the inconvenience. We came here on a Friday for happy hour only to find out they only do happy hour Monday through Thursday... bummer! Maybe it's changed since then. If not, please add it to Friday!!! We've been looking for a place with good Chicago deep dish pizza since Mangia's closed doors during the COVID pandemic. Came across Rosati's on google and after checking out the reviews, decided to give it a try, and so glad we did. We ordered a 14 inch deep dish pizza with onions and garlic, and it was excellent - made from all natural ingredients according to the owner who took the time to show us the various vegeterian options. Our order was delayed twice. Then delivered to the wrong house supposedly.. They remade it. Was delivered late. We asked for no tomatoes and they put tomatoes on it. The entire pizza had a layer of uncooked dough. It was not edible! We will never eat here again. I can blame the deliver on grub hub but the raw pizza on you guys! While it is a cool place inside, patio seating out, the food is to die for-in all the wrong ways! Didn't get to stay long but was able to order my son a slice of double dough pepperoni pizza, and it was sickening. So Much Grease literally Poured off of his pizza we could have used it to fry chicken! Was going to take 15-20 minutes to make a meatball sub and we were pressed for time, so I don't get to try it, but my cousin ordered a special pizza and they were out of basil. Not a big deal, but lacking ingredients at the lunch hour doesn't reflect the best. If you have your gall bladder, or don't appreciate pancreatitis, might be best to steer clear. I have been to this location over 10 times. Here is my observations.... - They actually serve pretty good food. It's something different, so you kinda crave it. - it's horribly managed. Like bad. I've been there when there are 3 people there and when there are 75 people there. Food is always very slow. You watch everyone moving a lot, but not accomplishing much. - the owners must be satisfied with their sub par service, because nothing changes. When you complain about the slow food times or service, they just say sorry and don't compensate nor fix the problem. The owner prides himself on caring about the best ingredients, and the results speak for themselves. The only bad comments I've seen are people trying to get free shit by talking about the service and being valued as a customer.
