Rosado Movers gets it done! Fast, polite and responsive - way better than my previous experiences with other movers. Robert was immediately responsive when I asked for help moving after Christmas and before New Year. Same day quote, confirmation and contract finalization for packing/ moving/ unpacking. I was planning to get an organizer to oversee the operation, but Robert & his team inspired confidence from the first interaction. The packers/ unpackers were punctual, diligent and thorough and the movers were high-energy, cheerful and careful. From start to finish, all done with no issues, no damages, no losses - and minimal stress for me. Robert came over periodically to check on progress and to supervise key steps (final pack, double-check, actual move and initiation of unpack), and the team (Kini, Joe, Daniel and Anthony) did an awesome job in a complicated situation (3 level townhouse to 3 level SFR). Each person was respectful, honest and very responsive through the move. IMO - well worth the costs involved - the customer service and quality of interactions was simply the best I've experienced. PS - Robert's followup after our final transaction was very prompt and courteous too - a little patch-up on one wall, and boxes to be picked up. read more

We have moved twice now with Rosado Movers and both experiences were excellent! Robert, the owner, was courteous and professional when he came to give the quote for our move, and his wife Brianne provided excellent follow up by email to schedule the move and finalize the contract. On the day of the move, Rosado Movers showed up a few minutes early and got right to work dismantling and wrapping furniture and moving our mountains of boxes. They dealt with our grill, patio furniture and my husband's weight rack without a problem. All of the movers were careful with our belongings and we had no damage in either move. Their price was very fair for the high level of service they provide. We would use them again for future moves and continue to recommend them to friends and family! A great Mountain View business! read more

We hired Rosado Movers recently on recommendation from several people, and were very happy we did. Communicating with Rosado before the move was easy. They are very responsive via phone and email. After they generated the first estimate/contract, we kept changing our minds about where to dump some of our extra stuff, and they sent us a revised contract each time, even on the 4th of July. In addition to the move itself, we had them pack up most of our stuff the day before the move, and help us unpack the day after the move. They did great work all the way through. Not a single item was scratched or damaged. In our new place they took off their shoes and moved everything in stocking feet. During the move, the workers couldn't figure out how to dismantle our L-shaped sofa, so they first called in Robert to help, who was stumped too. I didn't know the answer, either (but props to Danish Concepts, where we bought the sofa years ago, for explaining it to me over the phone!). I was glad they asked me for help rather than trying to brute-force their way through it and risk damaging something. The only surprise was by how much they underestimated the work--the actual cost was almost double the estimated cost. They were very clear about their hourly rates, though, and they were clearly doing useful work at all times, so I feel we got our money's worth. (If like us, you've grown roots after a decade in your old home, take the mover's quick estimate with a large grain of salt--you probably have way more stuff than meets the eye.) We plan to use Rosado Movers again next time we move. read more

In short, go with Rosado! Rosado Movers (Tony, Martin, Pablo) were all professional, hardworking, and friendly from start to finish (it was quite the finish - 3 apartments and 10.5 hours later). We had some challenging pieces to move in/out and Rosado continually assured us that it would not be a problem. And, while they had to hoist 3 large pieces of furniture over a second floor balcony, we never were left to feel like it was a problem. Robert, the owner, even came over on his Sunday to ensure the more difficult pieces were moved in properly and with care. Robert and Carlos were extra accommodating when I asked about a "heavy duty" cleaning service. They had three wonderful ladies (Ana, Maria, Maricela) at my door the next morning at 8am to scrub my place from top to bottom. For a nit-picky clean freak like myself, they were my heroes! And....when an ugly hard water stain resurfaced on my tub, Ana and Maria, were back over to my apartment later that afternoon to get it out. Thanks, Rosado! read more

Efficient, friendly movers who gave us peace of mind! Our moving needs were a bit complicated - we needed to move out of our current space but were rooming with a friend for a month before our new place was available. Rosado accommodated our needs and at the end charged us a reasonable price to do it. The staff are first rate, and I'd like to acknowledge Jose, Anthony, Martin and Pablo on our move out and Angel M and Sione on our move in. They were careful and polite and went the extra mile to make our move in as easy as possible. What a great team! I highly recommend them for your move because they're reasonably priced and you can rest easy knowing you're in great hands! read more

These guys were great. Friendly and efficient. Moved my mother's stuff from Menlo Park to Santa Rosa. Great attention to detail and yet extremely careful. Helped pack lamps and other breakables. Cleaned up everything when they left. Highly recommend. read more

We have used Rosado not once, but twice in the past year. Both instances were absolutely wonderful experiences. 1) They are very professional to work with in written and phone conversations 2) their work ethic is great, you really can feel the "hustle" to get the job done 3) in general, the under-promise and over-deliver, which is outstanding in such a otherwise scammy industry. Highly recommended. read more

Rosado movers is an excellent company. I have used them to move in and out of college apartments several (4) times now and have had nothing but great experiences. This morning I needed a last minute move (other movers cancelled). I called Rosado and spoke to the owner, Robert--Robert took matters into his own hands and personally moved me this afternoon (the same day). This is the fourth great experience I've had with Rosado movers and I could not be more impressed. Rosado is a great moving company overall--the movers are always prompt and professional and get the job done as quickly as possible for a great price! They are extremely reliable--if they tell you they will be there at 3pm, they will show up at 2:55pm. If you need to move definitely go with Rosado movers, you won't regret it. read more

Update: Just did part 2 of my move (see part 1 below). This time the team was Juan (leader), Foike, Armando, and Pita. And they also did an excellent job (incl. wrestling large sectional sofa pieces over and down from a 2nd story balcony, because they were too long to go easily through the tight front entrance turns). Hopefully won't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do, and it's local, I'll call Rosado again. read more

Have used Rosado movers twice in two years. Very professional and efficient teams. Robert (the owner) personally came by both times to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Only suggestion is to not have movers wrap unbreakable items as this adds time, incurring additional cost. read more

Just used these guys last weekend for my move from our old place in Cupertino, to our newly built home in El Paso! and can not recommend them enough! Absolutely the easiest and most carefree moving experience I've ever had. Robert (the owner/operator) deals with customers directly and is a pretty stand-up guy, which is surprisingly refreshing, (not to mention quite the rare commodity) when dealing with a service market that is absolutely SATURATED with shady/seedy individuals. 5 stars for great service. read more

I highly recommend Rosado Movers and would/will use them again in a heartbeat! They were punctual, professional and took immaculate care of our belongings. Our moving team consisted of Paea, Leki, Pita, Tonga and Netane. These guys worked hard and steadfast. Thank you Rosado Movers!! read more

They are the best! Used their moving services and they are make moving process so streamlined and smooth. Kudos to them. Rates are reasonable too. Will definitely use again!! read more

Another successful move. It took 5 guys about 6.5 hrs to move a 3br/2ba house (all our belongings were already boxed), and the aforementioned display case had to get up an even tighter set of stairs. A large desk had to be disassembled and a door had to be taken off its hinges to get furniture into one of the rooms, but they did it all and smartly checked with me and my better half at the new location to make sure everything was going in the right place. They wrapped and padded everything at the start and were very good about keeping clean at the new place. I can't stress enough how impressed I was with the ingenuity of the movers to get big heavy pieces of furniture up our narrow staircase without breaking any glass. The price matched the quote and while it wasn't cheap, it was trouble-free. I hate moving with a passion, but these guys took most of the work out of it. Two issues this time which are costing them a star but won't stop me from using them again as both can be avoided with better supervision from me. First was that they didn't call to confirm or check in as the move approached. I had to do that myself. But they arrived exactly on time every time I've used them. Also, some of the small pieces of furniture that wasn't empty (file cabinets) got rotated unnecessarily which caused the contents to move around, and some boxes that were labelled fragile or TOP got rotated as well. The damage was minimal (mostly just extra work on my part) but they needed to be pay better attention. read more

We used Rosado Movers recently when we moved from Cupertino to Saratoga. They did excellent job handling our stuff and were very efficient. The team was managed by Tony personally. They had to disassemble some of the furniture and reassemble it (especially the grand swing -traditional indian furniture). Job well handled and done in timely manner. Highly recommend them. read more

Excellent! The communication over email with the office manager was quick and all estimated costs were clearly laid out in a pdf. After I first reached out, they gave me a free in-home estimate. We opted to do both the packing and moving services. The day prior to the move, three packers came over with boxes and wrapping material. We hadn't done any "pre-packing" so they had to go through every closet and drawer. They did so in just a few hours and everything was put away carefully. The next morning, the movers showed up on time and efficiently moved all of the furniture and boxes into the truck. They had blankets and other accessories handy and took care to pack everything properly so that the furniture wouldn't get scratched. They were also very respectful of the property itself and took care not to leave dirt or dents in the floor or walls. Overall, fantastic service - will definitely be using them again for our next move! read more

Recently moved this weekend, locally from Mtn View to Sunnyvale. Robert and his crew did a phenomenal job at a very reasonable rate. Day of the move, 1 item (lamp) did break -- Robert was upfront and honest about the damage, offering to immediate replace it or repair it. Fortunately, a bit of concrete on the base and it was good to go (he fixed it on-site!). All in all, I wouldn't recommend any other movers but this group to my family and friends. A+, 5 out of 5. read more

I had a great experience with CAL and I highly recommend them. Robert, the owner, gave me a binding not-to-exceed estimate for three movers that was lower than any of the other highly rated movers I saw on Yelp. He showed up with 4 movers and stuck with the quote. The movers were professional and courteous, and nothing was damaged during the move. Robert even reattached a leg to a previously broken table for us. I would definitely use CAL again. read more

About 2 weeks ago we needed a heavy chest bed and a couple of dressers moved from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto. I contacted Robert and the next day 3 people arrived right on time! CAL Movers were great during our recent move down the Peninsula. We had to postpone the move by a week - no problem, we rescheduled very quickly and very easily. The team that packed the boxes was friendly, efficient and professional. They made sure not to pack anything we needed that evening or the following morning. The moving crew were excellent, despite the challenges offered by the treadmill and TV. They kept their good humor, and moved everything quickly and without any damage. CAL Movers was the cheapest of the three quotes I obtained, but this was the best, easiest, smoothest, and "most fun" move I have ever done. I have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation. read more

I finally got a chance to say something good about Cal Movers. They are fantastic! First of all, Robert gave me a precise quote on the job, which was fair among all of the movers I quoted with. On the day of moving, it rained hard, but the three guys still did it quickly and flawlessly. They carefully covered the carpet at every entrance to my new house, so there was not a single stain on the carpet even it was raining outside. Simply put, they are freindly and professional. I am glad I went with Cal Movers. They will be my next mover for sure. BG Fremont, CA read more

This is a very belated review, but I came across my invoice today, which reminded me. Rosado Movers moved us from a 2BR apt in Mountain View to a 3BR townhouse in Palo Alto. Robert and Brianne were very responsive via phone and email during the scheduling process. Robert visited the MV apt, but I think he underestimated the amount of stuff that we had crammed into the apt, as well as our patio furniture. Our items barely fit into their truck, and Robert ended up bringing a fourth guy to help unload. The moving team (Jose, Anthony, Luke, and Aldo) did an excellent job. They were very hard-working and professional. This may seem like a small thing, but I appreciated that each of them introduced themselves to me and shook my hand. Further, throughout the move, they referred to me by name, as opposed to shouting questions in a "hey you" sort of way. Rosado Movers is pricey, but they were worth every penny. I had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend them and use them again. read more

I was in charge of moving our Corporate Training facility from Redwood City to Belmont, Ca. which I have not done before and was nervous about this project. Calling several companies, I felt confident after talking to Robert and he assured me that he and his team would take care of it. Having to deal with Corporate offices, Robert and Brianna got all the paperwork needed. Eduardo, Rojas and Joseph showed up on time on my moving day, 8/25/12 (in fact they were 10 minutes early), started right away taking care of all the units that had to be transported along with all the boxes, tables, chairs, etc....not 1 casualty. I highly recommend them as they are prompt, professional and courteous. Excellent Customer Service and Get's the Job done!!! Thank you, A Forever Grateful Client, Dorothy read more

Rosado movers recently helped me with a move within Palo Alto. They were scheduled to come @ 8am and arrived about 8:10am. The Driver said that their paperwork had the wrong address. Three movers (Lalo, Joaquin, Kini) arrive and each introduced themselves. Apparently, they were told that they're moving a 2-bedroom apartment but it's actually a 3+ bedroom house with garage. There was also a mixed up on # of mattress covers I wanted but after talking to Robert (the owner), he resolved it and added one more mover very quickly (Anthony). They had made two trips with a short lunch in between. All of the movers Lalo, Joaquin, Anthony, and Kini were very careful with loading and unloading their truck. They were gentle with my furniture/stuff and were very receptive to where I wanted each piece to go @ the new home. I'm actually surprised that by the end of the day, they were still smiling. Considering they had to walk down a very long drive way to my garage or my master bedroom for most of my items. I'm starting to unpack and I'm pretty confident that I will not find anything broken or scratched. Robert was great- he came during various times to check on the progress of the move and very responsive to my concerns. Thank you Rosado Movers for making my life a lot easier. read more

Very pleasant experience. I don't think the process could have been any smoother. I sent Rosado an email right before Christmas eve to request a quote. The next day I got a reply from Robert asking to setup a half hour appointment to inspect my apartment to estimate the required manpower and time. Robert showed up at the right time and did his survey and gave me an estimate of 3men and 3hrs of work. I scheduled the actual move day through emails. When the time came, Robert Rosado and the boys showed up slightly early. My bedroom and living furniture were disassembled, wrapped in blankets and loaded to the truck. My mattress was also wrapped and loaded. They provided nice boxes with a bar so I can hang my wardrobe without the need to pack them (best thing ever!). After all the loading was complete we drove to my new apartment and the boxes were moved up, my furniture was assembled and placed to where I wanted. The process went faster than expected without any damage. Very friendly yet very professional service. Robert, you'll be my go to guy from now on! read more

We hired Rosado movers to move our house recently, and I have almost only excellent things to say about them. Comments as follows: - My initial inquiry was received by an answering machine, but I received a return call back very promptly. I'd say within an hour. - We scheduled an appointment for the owner/operator to come provide a free estimate. He accommodated our busy schedule by coming by after hours in the evening. - His quote seemed very fair, so we hired him. The "contract" process was basically an email with the quote details and my response. Very easy. - We are very buys so we also chose to have them pack all our belongings. They did an ok job. I give them a B for the packing, only bc not everything was labeled well so it has made unpacking a bit of a challenge. BUT, everything was wrapped and pack safely. Have not found one single broken item. - The day after the packing, the movers came. The movers were AWESOME, can't say enough good things. Efficient. Strong. Conscientious. Polite.... Great guys. They took great pains not to scratch or scuff anything and did a great jog. Including moving all the boxes into the appropriate rooms and reassembling furniture as necessary. - They also helped us start organizing the garage and fine tuning some of the furniture placement. The movers get an A+++ All in all I would strongly recommend Rosado Movers without hesitation. Cheers! read more

I hired Rosado Movers for a local Mountain View move. I called with short notice on a Monday, and was easily able to arrange a move for the following Friday. I got a good first impression speaking to Robert to schedule the move. He had the normal sorts of queries one might expect when moving someone else's stuff. After providing him the details of my move, Robert estimated between a 3 and 5 hour move. Moving services involved 3 movers, with truck (including mileage/gas) and moving supplies, at $140/hr with a 3 hour minimum. Robert also stated that the movers may request a 30 minute unpaid break, I found these initial terms acceptable. The day of the move, the movers called me just before our arranged time to let me know they would be there within 15 minutes. They arrived right on time. The moving staff was professionally dressed and polite. The movers wrapped all my furniture in protective blankets, and secured everything with packing tape. I was confident that my furniture would not get any dings or dents should things shift around in the moving truck. Everything was loaded up quickly and unloaded quickly. They had ample moving dollies and carts to move everything securely. In summary, the movers came in right on estimate. The move was estimated between 3 and 5 hours; I was invoiced for 3.5 hours. I will use this company again for my next move. read more

I used Rosado Movers for both packing service the day before our move and moving within the Bay Area. They were terrific. Tony is especially organized and thorough, and very professional. He came to my home to do an in-home assessment and didn't make me do any silly online stuff, which lots of companies do these days. We learned about these movers from my former boss, who also recently moved within the area and had a great experience with them. I will review packing and moving separately: Packing Service: This was great. Three professional packers using all new papers, bubble wrap, and boxes. They charge $200 per hour, but boy they got the job done. I had them for four hours and tipped each packer $30. Of note, I have a tone of dishes - more than 80 glasses with stems. Not a single one broke in the move. Moving Service: Again, great. I have a lot of antique furniture - a dining table with three leaves that is 60+ years old, and some really heavy Ethan Allen pieces. They wrapped everything very carefully in shrink wrap and blankets, and again, no damage to my furniture, aside from one small issue with one small wooden item, and Tony was quick to return my call and offer to remedy the situation. I really want to emphasize that they were very considerate throughout the process - they wore those little blue booties, and did not smoke cigarettes prior to or during the job - which can really make a difference if you are a non-smoker. In sum, as someone who has moved quite a few times in the last 6 years, I can strongly recommend this service. It's also nice to use a local family business that does well by their employees. read more

These guys are awesome! I just finished remodeling and it was the day before Christmas Eve. I had to put all my furniture back before Christmas, so I called them at the last minute and they came by and put it all back. I was so grateful. I have one couch that is very heavy and difficult to move but they handled it with professionalism and ease. They had to navigate over the staircase and get it through a small door. I needed someone to move a 750 lb. built in refrigerator/freezer out of a tight spot in order to repair a leak in the water line. There was no room to use moving equipment. There are no rollers on the unit so It had to moved by hand over my newly installed hardwood floor. The move had to be completed in two phases so that I could coordinate with the appliance repair company. I met with Tony and explained my situation and my concerns. In short, it went off without a hitch. Tony and crew arrived exactly when they said they would and literally wrestled the refrigerator out of its space. Robert was very professional and friendly. His workers (5) came a about 45 minutes early but offered to wait outside if we were not ready. They were friendly, courteous and very gentle with our furniture and our collection of artwork.
