WORST MOVERS EVER! Came to my home with a baby uhaul 2 men and 3 hours late! I had told the owner Robert that I had a 2 bedrm condo and heavy furniture and 3 flights of stairs! Robert had told me that he would send four guys and a truck. Now not only did only 2 guys show up they didn't every bring a real truck. When they showed up finally I thought it was a joke. They told me they were late b/c of another customer and it was not there fault and I was like that is not my problem. In the end I sent them away and hired a real moving company (Birch Circle Movers). I told Robert that this was a safety risk for his workers and a liability. I also did not want my things ruined nor did I want damage to my condo that I was trying to get a deposit back on. I also let him know how unhappy I was with him for not being truthful and wasting my time and putting me off schedule. An unprofessional business that does not deliver on its commitments. Robert promised packing supplies that he did not deliver and then canceled during the packing because we asked him to wrap china in bubble-wrap (as promised). He then canceled the entire move scheduled for the next day. A complete waste of our time. read more

Great to work with the owner Robert. Workers showed up and were so hard working it was truly amazing. Anthony, Julio and Pita worked at an amazing breakneck speed. Others showed up to help out Kaci and Emerson to name a few along with Don calling to ensure the team arrived and i was a happy customer. The reason I used them was a customer review mentioned using them a second time. Any time there is a happy repeat customer, that says to me that this is a great company to work with. Thank you so much for making my stressful and emotional move go smoothly. :) read more

We used Rosado for our recent move out of a 2 bed 2 bath apartment to a 3 bed townhouse. Getting the quote was easy and if you do an in-person quote they give you a coupon for $150 off moving/packing services over 4 hours in duration. I first contacted them about 1.5-2 weeks before the move date and Brianne was very helpful and responsive in setting things up for me. Moving day, Joaquin and his team showed up on time and completed the entire job in 4 hours. At one point there was a mix up about where my daughter's twin bed was supposed to go but they did not hesitate to take apart the bed and move it to the correct room and reassemble. Cheerful the entire time which I really appreciated. I also liked that they sent a 4-man team. Other companies I quoted had the same hourly rate but it was for a 3-man team. Overall, things went as smoothly as one could hope for when moving with two young kids. Would recommend. read more

I have had a lot of bad and mediocre moves in my life but I have now had two outstanding moves in a row from Rosado Movers. Both times I was provided an accrurate estimate which they held to. No hidden costs, no BS. Over Labor Day Weekend (Sept 2017) they moved my family from our home in Mountain View (which as about to be remodeled) to a three story townhouse in Sunnyvale. The crew, led by Anthony (the owners son) was just fantastic. They moved with blazing speed, but were extremely careful. Each piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in moving blankets. The were careful to get our direction for where every item belonged and were so polite and helpful. The day of the move was scorching hot - nearly 100 degrees - brutal conditions for a move into a three story townhouse. But the crew was so hard working and determined. The thing I appreciated most was that the owner - Robert Rosado - came over late morning to check on the well-being of the crew and provided them with addition water and gatorade, and to make sure they were doing alright, getting enough breaks, etc., given the heat. He wanted me to know that the move may be a little slower than anticipated given the heat and needed to look out for the well being of his crew. That's a class act right there. We had such a great experience we hired them again this week (May 3) to move us back into our newly reomdeled home. They sent a six person crew (Leki, Pita, Siale, Felipe, Mauricio, and Victor). These guys were awesome. Every piece of furniture carefully moved or disassembled if necessary, wrapped in blankets, and perfectly reassembled on the other end. The house was brand new and they were so careful - they put blankets down throughout the house, took extra time moving large items so as not to ding the walls. We did a walk through at hte end to make sure every item was in the place we wanted. They powered through the whole move in 8 hours and did a great job. Moving is really stressful, but Rosado Movers is great to work with and makes it easy as possible. read more

I am SO grateful we were referred to Rosado Movers. I have never encountered such a professional and efficient moving group before. The price was very fair, but they could have charged more for the uber friendly and helpful staff. A big thanks to Leki, Foeki, Pita, Mo and Matt for making one of my least favorite things in the world (moving houses) a great experience and for teaching me a few words in Tongan. I almost want to move again just so I can use Rosado (ALMOST). read more

This is the third move we had with Rosado Movers! From how it is run to everyone who gets the job done, the way they operate is absolutely incredible. They make the packing and moving process very seamless. Robert and Don are a great team and were easy to communicate with and extremely professional. Moving can be very stressful so this team does their best to be mindful of your needs. The ladies who did all of our packing were swift yet careful with everything they did. We were amazed! The moving crew, Foeki, Leki, Pita, Maya, Meau, and Siwa, were also very careful and worked quickly, so fast that we had to ask them to take a break! They moved a 4,000 sq. foot house, with a lot of furniture, between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM! After our move, they quickly scheduled us in to help us with junk/recycling removal. Overall, each member of the Rosado crew provided amazing customer service. It was worth every penny! We highly recommend them! read more

Cal Movers moved us in January. They were quick to respond to my voice mail, came out promptly and on time to give a quote and fitted me in on the day of my choice even though I only gave them 1 week's notice. The price was fairly competitive. The moving crew was nice, polite and very careful. They wrapped all of our furniture with blankets and plastic and I had one family heirloom item I told them was the most important thing to be careful wit and they certainly were. . When I asked for wardrobe boxes on the day of the move, they brought them and actually put all of my clothes into them for me! All of my items came though the move in good condition. They even moved all of my potted plants! If we needed to move again I will definitely call Cal Movers ! read more

I have used Rosado movers three times already with my last move yesterday and I cannot say enough good things about my experience in all three times. They are punctual, provide reasonable rates and most importantly very professional in what they do. All the movers are very courteous and very responsive to all requests I made. They are quite experienced in the dismantling and reassembling of furniture pieces and they do it quite fast which shows a lot of experience. Robert, the owner, participates in the move himself and goes above and beyond in ensuring the smoothness of the move paying extra attention to preventing any damage to furniture or the home during the move. All my furniture was carefully wrapped in blankets and then plastic wrap to ensure full protection. I had a big leather couch that I needed to move to the second floor and I was very doubtful that it would make it through the narrow stairway of my new home. They somehow managed to do it with no damage at all! They first planned how they would route it up, tilting it in various directions to squeeze it through and they made it happen with not a scratch to the wall. I would highly recommend Rosado movers to anyone. High level of professionalism and hard working, experienced movers with an impressive keenness for customer satisfaction. read more

These guys are my heroes. I was about 2 seconds away from lighting a match and saying good riddens to all of my mom's crap when Robert and his crew came to our rescue. As others have said, CAL Movers was the only company to agree to help at the (very!) last minute. The whole team was great--they were friendly and FAST even though it was the end of the night. I swear, they loaded 200+ boxes/items in about 15 minutes, disassembled a bed frame, dining table, and wrapped and loaded most of the furniture in about an hour. We simply could not have completed the move without them! read more

Rosado Movers are amazing! I called this morning on a long-shot to see if they could move 3 large, heavy items this afternoon and was asked if 4 pm would be OK. They were there right at 4 and did an excellent job (at a great price). They moved us 2 years ago and did a terrific job then. I am sure we will call on them again! read more

Robert and his team were great during my recent move from Mountain View to the Castro in SF. This was my first time hiring a moving company, and it was such a relief to not have to bribe my friends to do the heavy lifting. They managed to fit my entire one-bedroom worth of stuff into a pickup + trailer with lots of room to spare. There was an extra guy there (3 instead of the 2 they quoted me on and charged me for), which was great. Plus Robert's mom was visiting from out of town and tagged along, which was super cute. My entire move took about 4 hours and came to only $300 - this was a great deal, from what I've seen on Yelp reviews for other places. There were a few small issues (a glass lamp that I probably didn't pack very well broke inside its box, my loveseat got a bit of paint transfer on the top but that should wash off), but it was totally worth it given the price and the friendliness of everyone involved. Bonus points for it being unusually warm - they all worked like crazy to finish quickly, even with sweat pouring down their faces. read more

I just moved from Palo Alto to San Francisco and Cal-Movers were awesome. They arrived exactly on time, were very considerate of all my belongings, very personable and trust-worthy. Robert is great and his workers are very dedicated. They finished the job as quickly as possible and made the move easy, quick, and without stress! read more

These guys are great. They were really organized, careful, kind, and good natured. Robert came to give us a quote and actually looked at how much we had to move before giving a quote to ensure the quote would be accurate. He checked in throughout the moving process to make sure everything was going well and ensure us that he instructed our movers to wear booties in the house, wrap everything carefully, etc. The guys moving our stuff were so awesome. We were moving into a three story condo with a VERY narrow staircase and were planning to have our bedroom on the third floor. Getting the dresser and bed up the stairs was a challenging task, especially given the vaulted ceilings, but they did it with a smile on their faces and were super cheerful and kind the whole time. They finished quickly and gave us the lower of the quoted costs we were given because they were able to do the move in 4 as opposed to 4.5 hours. Overall, this was the greatest moving experience I have ever had. ZERO complaints and 100% satisfied -- we will certainly call them again if we need moving services! read more

Wish I could rate these guys 0 starts. If you like disasters and a unprofessional company, then these guys win hands down. Made the entire move a pain. Stay away and go with someone else. read more

Excellent move! These guys are on time, fast, and professional. It was our easiest move yet. Robert was up front with the cost and dead on with the time frame. There was no hidden fees or surcharges. I was surprised to see extra men for the move, but Robert said, " the rate per hour is for a minimum of two guys, and if I bring more hands and move you faster then you'll pay less." I was very impressed that he was more concerned about meeting our time frame, instead of "milking" a job like so many hourly contractors tend to do. This is a solid company. read more

We used these movers on a personal recommendation, and am so glad that we did. They were on time, quick, careful, and really affordable. It seemed like a nice family owned business with the owner and his son as half of a four man crew. They helped make it a low stress move. read more

Robert and his team were really great and professional. My only complaint is that they were late but I still give them 5 stars because to make up for it, Robert brought 4 guys instead of 2 so they moved all of my stuff really fast. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Rosado Movers were very professional from the beginning. On move day they showed up exactly on time. We did a quick walk through and within 10 minutes they started wrapping the furniture. I was so impressed with how they carefully wrapped each piece of furniture. When the furniture arrived to our destination there was not a single scratch on it. For the quality of service it was definitely worth the money. I would recommend Rosado movers to anyone making a move in the bay area. read more

Absolutely one of the best moving companies I've ever worked with from beginning to end. I was helping a family friend with her move. I went ahead to the new house to meet them with the truck. This where they shined the brightest : There was a very large, expensive dining table that we weren't sure would be able to fit in either door. The guys assessed both possibilities and decided the front door was best. Before I knew it, 4 of them effortlessly maneuvered the table through the door and into the dining area!! My friend hadn't even gotten to the house yet. So, she was elated to walk in and see the table already in place where she had only hoped it would fit!! Anthony was absolutely wonderful, polite, and helpful beyond expectation. Maya, Martin, and Moe were fast yet careful. They even offered to try to get back the cones we had used to save their parking from the construction crew that had likely taken them by accident! Honestly, they felt like a family helping us with this stressful situation and not just hired hands. read more

Once again, Robert came to our rescue on very short notice. This time it was a small job, but as before he was very helpful and professional and came the day and time we needed him to come. Thanks Robert! read more

Great experience - I would certainly recommend them! I called them only a few days before our move and they fit us into their schedule and offered a good price and excellent service. They were on time, their estimated time was right on, and their staff were friendly, courteous and careful with our stuff. I met the owner who stopped by to help for a bit, and learned they are a family business who really want their customers to be happy. Everything was very professional and this made our move go well. I was very happy and I'll go back next time I need something moved. read more

I strongly recommend Rosado Movers. Although their quote was higher than the others, I went with them based on the yelp reviews . Both Robert and Tony are professionals and easy to work with. They gave accurate estimates, kept their word on what they promised and did what it took to make the move fast and smooth. We really hope to not move for a while but if we do, we would be glad entrust the job to Rosado again. read more

We used Robert Rosado to move very heavy garden objects from SJ to Paso Robles several years ago. He was the only company who would tackle the job moving multiple heavy granite sculptures. When they arrived at our Paso home they took the time and great care to make sure they placed them throughout the garden where we wanted them, and were all too happy to move them if we wanted them in a different place. Just used them again to move our entire house furnishings from the house to our garage so we could have our floors refinished. We were told there would be a 3-hr minimum which we agreed to, and were fine with. The crew arrived exactly on time and never stopped. They didn't rush at all, in fact they worked with us to place the furniture in the garage in such a way as to leave enough room for us to park one of our cars in the garage over the 12 days we had to be out of the house. As with all projects, we had to change the date to move back in three times, because of the drying time needed before we could put furniture and rugs on the new floor. they couldn't have been more accommodating. On both the in and out move they said they'd be there at 8:00am, and they arrived exactly on time ready to go to work. On the move back in, we asked that they go slow and work with us so we could decide where to place the furniture throughout the house. Our crew was Anthony, Siale, Pita, and Giovani and they couldn't have been more willing to please. All of them were a pleasure to work with, never took breaks, never complained about moving heavy items or the difficulty of getting them through narrow doorways or hallways. Again, we paid a 3-hr minimum and we were super happy with the entire process. As others have stated, moving (even if doing so to refinish floors) is a big job and stressful, and Robert Rosado's crew couldn't have made it any easier. I'd also point out that on the Saturday move in, Robert stopped by personally to say hello and to introduce us to the crew. I can't speak to the folks who've complained on this site about Rosado Movers for various reasons . Honestly, when we used them years ago we felt fortunate to have found them, and this time was no exception. They met all our expectations; they're professionals; and, you couldn't ask for a better crew. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and have passed their card along to a realtor in the neighborhood as a referral for her clients. read more

My family and I recently moved to a new property, and Rosado Movers helped us with the move. Team Rosado consisted of Siua, Anthony (Pops), and Angel. They were very professional with the move: taking care to make sure that our belongings are safe and secure, making sure that both properties remain clean, and accomodating/adapting to our needs. They were in-and-out as quickly as possible, and their service was truly one of those "service with a smile". I highly recommend Rosado movers and this team for your moving needs. read more

My wife and I have unfortunately have had to move about 8 years in a row, and I have to say the experience we had with Rosado Movers was by far the best one we've ever had. Siua, Jordan and Marco were extremely professional, efficient and courteous throughout the entire move. We had to move out of an unusually circuitous apartment complex - and we were very impressed with how quickly and carefully they were able to get everything moved out. Highly recommended. read more

Moving is very stressful and requires a lot of patience. Anthony, Pita, Siale and Maya were very professional and helped my family move to our new home. They were very nice young men and took great care in moving our belonging. All of our items arrived safely and were packed with great care. Thank you Robert and the Rosado Movers for making this a great experience for us. We highly recommend this family business. read more

Had a really good experience. Prompt and responsive and went the extra mile in every way. Would highly recommend them.

I experienced the least stressful move of my life with Rosado Movers. It's raining today and Robert called to say he was bringing 9 guys so they could be quick. Quick is an understatement! ! Paya, Foeki, Tio, Cione, John, Igor, Flabio, Monty, Art, Tony and Robert showed up and were the most professional and friendly guys!! I had read reviews and thought ok, they're good, but I truly had no idea how great they would be. I cannot say enough great things about this crew. They packed the truck in about 30 mins and unloaded in less. That includes disassembling /reassembling 2 beds. I don't hope to move again any time soon, but if I do I will be calling Rosado Movers. read more

I have used Rosado movers four times, and each time they have been great! They are always on time, are very careful, friendly, and reasonable. When there was some damage done to a table, they brought the item to the best furniture refurbishing place in Mountain View and had it back to me looking like new, and they covered all the costs. I would highly recommend them! read more

We had a great move this week with Rosado! The estimate was spot on, and the gentleman (Don) who came out to give us the quote answered several follow up emails and calls. The crew arrived at 8:00 am as expected, and worked incredibly hard to get all our very heavy furniture wrapped and carefully moved down stairs and onto the truck. They took great care to make sure they didn't ding walls or hanging light fixtures. I was a bit nervous about the fragile items I had packed in boxes, but they assured me the boxes would be placed carefully in the truck. When we arrived at destination, we had items to go into the storage unit on the ground floor as well as our new home. As I rearranged rugs and furniture on the spot, the crew provided suggestions and moved items around...without eye rolls or heavy sighs. Highly recommend Rosado, and big shout out to Leki, Anthony, Pita, Maea and Gio for a job well done! read more

Robert and Brianne Rosado responded promptly to my request. They sent an estimator to my home to look at the scope of work in the evening and I received an estimate the next day. Efficient. I contacted 3 moving companies and chose Rosado because of their prompt response and, this is the first time in all my years of moving that someone came to the house to give me an estimate. Impressive. They communicated by email and sent a courtesy reminder call the day before the move. Anthony and the guys arrived on time and we walked from room to room to clarify what was to be moved. I have a great many fragile items and did all my own packing so asked them to be ultra careful not to stack too high. I packed most of the fragile items in smaller boxes to stack at the top. They were careful. They were diligent. They communicated. The furniture was packed using blankets and plastic wrap. I was confident that everything would arrive safely. They worked efficiently for 7 hours, taking a lunch break and one other short break to hydrate. I will be calling on Rosado Movers in the future and will not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I found Rosado Movers here on Yelp when I was looking for a moving company to help my office relocate. I left a voicemail and received a call back from Robert within hours. I met him for a quote the next morning and then we moved everything the next day. The movers were very professional and were careful with everything that they moved (using covers on all desks, etc). They even moved our office in a shorter amount of time than originally quoted. We will definitely be using Rosado Movers again. read more

Excellent experience with Rosado Movers! They showed up on time (even early) and had an incredibly efficient crew consisting of Robert, Pita, Matt, Maya and Marie. Robert and his crew are great - they were on time, and got to work right away. They moved my 2-bed apartment including using an elevator in about 1.5 hours. Robert himself even dismantled my bed frame because my electric screwdriver' battery failed - his used his own equipment for that. Robert also supervises his crew very closely and provides detailed coaching for the newer guys. They worked very hard! As my house was just remodeled, they took extra care to not ding the newly painted walls. The guys wrapped my big furniture pieces in plastic, and they had plenty of blankets on board. As part of our arrangement, they also helped clear out an onsite storage container. They finished slightly earlier than planned. Great customer service, very reasonable prices, great crew, on time, no hassles. Use these guys - quick, effective, convenient, responsive. read more
