The quality and attention to detail in the delivery made me feel that I wasn't missing out on the true experience of dining in during this quarantine time. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, iced expresó coffee with oatmilk honey and the churro waffle with strawberries. The sandwich had a nice soft crunch to it, the coffee had a perfect balance, not too sweet, not too strong and not overloaded with milk. When I try a new coffee shop I would order capuccino because it's one of the basic espresso-based coffees which has little room to make up poor breweing with additives such as extra sugar, flavor or something like that. You just have beans and milk. That's it. In that regard their capuccino wa s super-impressive and to my taste. Acidity and nutty flavor were well-balanced. The taste was pretty similar to capuccino from Kean coffee, which is my favorite. I guess their barista is pretty skillful given they use rather common Stumptown beans, not roasting their own. When you don't roast your own, you have a bit of disadvantage in terms of freshness due to a lead time on roasting date to delivery, but looks like their barista is making differences. if I can give it a zero stars I would, I ate a ham and cheese jalapeño panini and found that the cheese of my food was moldy, went to tell an employee and he completely ignored me. I then heard the workers talking about how they just scraped the moldy part off of the cheese they use because it "should be okay". Was looking for a good decent local coffee shop and I finally found one. The coffee here is amazing. I'd say this is not the perfect place for you and your friends to chit-chat since most of ppl will be studying and the atmosphere is pretty quiet.. BUT COFFEE IS THE BEST. My own personal bias that for something as basic as two slices of bread with smashed avocado should not be priced at $6+. My menu options were limited so I really had no other choice than starve. The coffee is great. The service is terrible. All I wanted was an ice coffee after I got my nails done. They turned me away at 4:48pm. They should change their sign bc it says they close at 5pm. There were 4 workers in an empty shop and they said we close in 10 minutes. They actually had 12 minutes and my ice coffee would have took 1 min to serve. So inconvenient. Just tried this new spot in Cerritos. I am from San Diego and this is one of my favorite coffee shops & I always have to stop by whenever Im in the area. Service: 5/5 - Workers will greet you right as you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and give great recommendations!!! Space: 5/5 - Cute decor - Limited seating so go early if you want a spot to study at or something! Parking: 5/5 - This spot is in a shopping center with other businesses so it's quite easy to find parking. Had been eye balling this place and I'm glad we finally tried it. Went in sat afternoon. The place is small and has a small limited menu . We ordered the churro waffle w strawberries and bananas and a pineapple slush. The waffle had good taste and I know it was fresh because I could see the guy making it, but if I didnt see him making it I would have thought it was premade. It was cold and not crispy at all(which I prefer) Like I said the taste was good but I think a fresh tasting waffle with that scoop of vanilla on top would have been perfect! The slush was good. I'm not the biggest fan of fruity pebbles, but somehow in this beautiful concoction of milk and fruity pebbles, it's amazing. The churro waffle is as delicious as it sounds. I opted not to add strawberries or bananas, but will try next time. If you like Stumptown coffee, you can get your fix here. The shop has tables with adequate outlets if you wanna study or do work. It was going to be my new "go-to" cafe, BUT the wifi here is wayy to unreliable. It has crashed EVERY time I have been there. Yum! I had a coupon from Uber Eats and decided to use it on a cold Lavender Milk Tea from here. I originally had asked for hot on the app, but when I got there, the barista had just finished brewing the tea and he was happy to switch it to cold for me! I almost didn't get the lavender in it because other places I've been tend to add a wee bit too much. I'm glad I did. My milk tea had the perfect amount of lavender flavor without being over powering. They were offering samples of banana pudding they were about to have in their shop so I picked one of those up. I'm not usually a fan of banana but this pudding sample was amazing!! It was super light and fluffy so I'm really looking forward to when they start selling it! Got here at 8 to meet up with an ex coworker whom I haven't seen for almost a decade on a Tuesday morning. It was kinda hard to find among so many shops in the strip mall. Once I found it, there was two cars parked out. One was my ex coworker and another one was other customer's. We go inside and seems like a nice ambience and clean. But the sole employee who was way back in the kitchen, is not even paying attention to see if more customers came or not. After about 7 mins, he finally looks towards the counter and walks over. Takes our order (2 orders of avocado toast)+cappuccino+ lavender latte. The food /drinks tasted petty okay (I would come back for the food and coffee). But it took another 30 min to get our food because while we were waiting to get the only employees attention, 3 more parties came. Most of them were to go customers. So the employee decided to make their food first. I would've been really pissed if I was in a hurry or if it was someone who I didnt have to catch up on past 10 yrs of life. We planned to be there for long time so getting the food almost at 8:45 didn't really matter. They need to hire more employee to work there in the morning time. People seem to be going there for morning coffee. How can they have one single employee (who's not all that fast with his hands nor has keen senses) to work the early morning shift hours by himself? I hope it was that day because the second employee called in sick or something. Anyway, I would not be going back there again. toast wasn't anything spectacular (I can make it at home) and the wait is just not worth it. read more
