I wanted to grab a quick lunch, so we stopped at Rooster's on W. Broad St. Our hostess was polite and promptly took us to our table as soon as we arrived. Shortly after we were seated our waitress came to our table with our menus, gave us a few minutes to look over what we wanted to order (even though we pretty much knew what we wanted). We ordered fried pickles and fried mushrooms, a side Roosters salads with extra Roosters Sauce, 20 wings each with one set for garlic and the other with a little more kick (pun intended) with Donkey sauce. The Roosters salads are always a big hit, especially with the extra dressing. Then, the mushrooms are a favorite of mine; always hot and delicious. The fried pickles go to my wife, who really enjoys the slightly bitter crunch of this veggie. But, the main course, the chicken wings, with the bone-in flavor, came to the table hot and crispy, which made for a hearty, lunch for the two of us. The wings are not the greatest I've had. Therefore, the biggest knock for this Roosters restaurant Is that sometimes it seems that two or more sauces are actually mixed together, as if the wok or whatever bowl was used might not have been cleaned thoroughly after using it for one sauce to coat the wings before mixing a new batch of wings. Therefore the result is a mudded taste rather than a clean, distinct taste of the sauce ordered. I enjoy looking around at the different signs that are posted throughout the restaurant. As customers read these humorous little "post-it notes" make the wait time for food seem so much faster. If you are wanting a quiet atmosphere for your dining experience, Roosters is not for you. But, if you are looking for a fun sports bar with good food and service at a decent price, Roosters will fit the bill. read more

Best wings in town have been going to Roosters since the days they're only one location out on Hamilton Rd. Good beer prices during the games which is great what's better than wings and beer. I say get the Chipotle and Kickin'Q sauce mixed. read more

One of the better locations. I swore years ago to never patronize another roosters after i received horrible service at another location but since a coworker was buying lunch i couldn't complain. I have lived close to here for some time now. I avoided it for the simple fact the parking lot was always packed. It turns out there is alot more seating than the outside would make it seem. Everyone is friendly even when they are over the top busy. As for the food, all I can say is, AMAZING! They always do a stellar job. I've been coming to this location over the last 7 years. Now while i have had good visits to horrible experiences. More horrible experiences than good hence the low rating. The place is typically packed with wait time around and hour on chicken wings. Careless servers. Semi friendly staff and prices that may be above par value. From wrong orders, missing items, servers not listening multiple times, asking for things numerous times, careless servers and a ok food. They get a two star. Minus the discrepancies id give them a 3.5 if possible but instead they get a 1. I gotten drinks dumped on me via careless servers not paying attention, cold food, extremely long wait times wish no apologies. The experience just isnt that great yes they got many tvs but so does B-Dubs and my personal favorite Buffalo Wings and Rings which has the most tvs and some are quite big!!!! If you want chicken wings i wouldn't go here on my tab and all of my friend like BWR better than Roosters and B-Dubs since I showed them. Would I recommend Roosters? Cold food /incorrect food take your pick ! when I called in to get the issue fixed they want me to come back to the store with the cold food that was incorrect that they charged more for and get new food?? This location we have had nothing but issues with. wings are always dry though we order them extra wet, I found a hair in my wings Then I start on my salad and feed my 2 year old some of it as well and theres a pretty big Piece of plastic (like plastic wrap) bunched up in the lettuce of my salad, I had it in my mouth!! what if my 2 year old got that plastic!!! not okay. Roosters has a wide variety of "fun" food. Wings, Pizza, Burgers, Subs, Mozzarella Sticks, Nachos etc. I go there for the BLT, which always has tons of bacon on it. I also love their tater tots and chicken noodle soup. Someone always says "hi!" right when you walk in. Lots of TVs to watch any sport that is on at the time. The place is always busy, loud and full of people but easy to get a seat quickly. I've never really had to wait in all the times I've been there. Wait staff is nice too. They have lots of cool decorations and funny quotes hanging all over the place. Its a fun place to hang out. read more

The staff is always nice here. It's usually busy but we typically sit at bar since it's a fairly large one so service is fast. They also have a nice patio if you wanted to get the nice ambiance of the whistling cars driving by :) or maybe some fresh air? It's hard to call ahead and order, it's always a busy signal- they need to offer online ordering. There has been many times where we just end up going somewhere else because it was impossible to order a to-go meal there unless you walked in. Let's face it, there are nights where you want zero human interaction and a cook-free night, this place is not conducive for that and that is why I give it 3 stars. The chicken wings also seem oddly larger than normal so who knows what the chickens are pumped full of :-/ But their garlic sauce for the wings are the best!! We usually walk out with a $30-$40 bill for two. We get an app, wings, side salads and pizza (which is surprisingly really good-they have old world pepperonis!!). I have been to Roosters a couple times prior but never to this location. I ordered 5 honey BBQ boneless wings, but the wings were dry and barely covered in sauce. I and another person ordered celery and ranch and never received them, despite being charged for them. Another person in my group asked for ketchup and never received it. I would understand if it was a busy evening, but it wasn't. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this Roosters location. read more

So I tried Roosters for the first time today, and as someone who really loves hot wings, I have to say that these wings were just ok. They were well-sauced and of a good size, which I very much appreciated. However, the supposedly third hottest sauce wasn't really any different from Frank's Red Hot as far as I could tell. So I was at roosters and when I was ordering some plastic pizza they said they couldn't make the pizza boneless so I told them why can't it be glass but not boneless pizza and when I was eating my water pizza I realized the pizza was half eaten by the robot and was eating my leg I told him if he could scratch my toe but he said he already ate it so I went home and made myself a boneless pizza and noticed it wasn't on the menu so I went back to Carman and ordered a tv to eat and they said they only had a computer monitor and I said I was on a diet so hey said ok sir let us order some more tv's and they told me to stay quiet and watch some looney tunes on the biscuit. I have been to roosters multiple times. And all were disgusting. My last visit, I ordered fried pickles and BBQ wings. My cousin got chips and cheese with a chicken parm sand. My fried pickles were good, so we're the chips and cheese. BUt the wings are just nasty. They were cold, too much sauce ( I love wet wings), and the ratio with chicken and breading is not enough. My cousin tried to be nice and eat them. But he ate one and finally I sent them back to be taken off my bill. I would not recommend a roosters at all. Service was ok. read more

This restaurant has AWESOME chicken both boneless and traditional, the sauces are fantastic and after reading one of the reviews on here I feel like I am obligated to post mine, I don't see how anyone at any given time could of had such a horrible experience there. So I WILL stick up for my neighborhood wings spot. The only reason I would not give it a 5 is due to the wait you encounter sometimes. This place is definitely many people's favorite spot I know I have brought and made at least 5 people favorite this place over any other Columbus wing spot. So on your weekends from sunrise to sundown they are working hard to suit our needs.The chicken at buffalo wild wings won't come close to how plump and tender the chicken at roosters is. I highly recommend this location specifically it is the only one I can speak for. And the prices might make your jaw drop!!!! Really really fair! read more

Judging the rest of these reviews I should not go at dinner time and I got real lucky on this visit. Steve and I went there when he was getting his oil changed so it was around 1pm or so. It looked busy, but dispersed quickly and we were sat promptly. I don't know what our servers name was, but she reminded me of the girl in the Transformer movies. We ordered a basket of onion rings, and fried pickles, I got the chicken burrito and he got a burger. We liked our food and our server wasn't friendly, but she didn't suck either, she kept watching us and didn't make us wait for a thing and we did see her smile at the end. One of the brightest spots on the west side. This is the place I choose for my birthday dinner. The boneless wings, shaken in garlic is fantastic. The staff is friendly and comedic. So many things to see and read inside, from funny signage to a really good menu. The only thing I miss, that they used to have, are the jalapeno poppers. I wish they would bring them back! Constantly messes up carry out orders, but won't admit it to you. I came in when my order should've been ready, but wasn't because they lost the order. When I complained, the manager said that I couldn't have been waiting that long based on when my order was placed. I had to explain to her that is when I had to place my order again. My favorite place to eat! Family friendly, great service, and delicious foods. I used to eat here every week. Every Tuesday they have an appetizer special that you can get for cheaper. They are also very good at solving a problem when you get the wrong order and will sometimes remove it from you bill. Outstanding restaurant! read more
