My son convinced me to try this place out after he had been talking about it over the course of several days. He knows I'm picky about my chicken, but since he was paying, I was game. We picked up about 40 pieces for the family and I must admit, I was impressed. Nice and crispy, temperature-hot and seasoned incredibly well. In fact, it was VERY hot, which was a plus since we had to drive home. My mistake was trying a piece while driving, but it was worth it. The second visit was a bit disappointing. We ordered 70 pieces and couldn't wait to get back home to enjoy them. They were overcooked and almost dried out. We had called the order in prior to picking them up, but I know they weren't sitting out that long, as we drove straight there (about 10 minutes) after placing the order. I thought it was just my pieces, but it turns out they were all like that. I suggested that we notify them and see about getting some of the order replaced but the kids were so hungry that they decided to let it go. I'm not angry with the restaurant and am definitely willing to give them another try, but looking back, I should have told them about the problem. We'll see during the next visit. I came here for some fish and grits. I'd been to their previous location once on Livingston some time ago, but didn't realize they'd moved. This location is on Noe Bixby, located in the plaza next to dairy queen. So as stated, I ordered the fish and grits, catfish to be exact for carryout. The fish was BANGIN, sooo good! Seasoned perfectly, crispy, moist, flavorful, dabomb.com. The eggs were cooked nicely as well. The grits I was a bit disappointed in because they had absolutely no seasoning and were a bit runny. I read in the reviews that the chicken here is also poppin, so because of that, and their DELICIOUS catfish, I'll probably be back to try more of the menu. read more

Ordered the chicken and waffles and a side of grits. I ordered through door dash, and when I got the bag, the bottom was filled with syrup. Some of which got in my grits. When I opened the box, the syrup containers were completely empty and half the waffle was super soggy. Luckily I was home so I used my own syrup. The waffle was not good and it was tough. The chicken was great! Very pleased. I asked for cheese in the grits. It was sitting on top and it never fully melted, so I just had clumps of cheese throughout. I was given uncooked chicken twice in one month (about 6 months ago). Today I called and the owner vented and complained to me about his staff members being upset because of my review. I told him that I was upset not knowing my child was given uncooked chicken. Still he continued for 25 minutes shouting about how he and his employees were upset about my review. I told him that I'm a a loyal customer that has been around since the hepatitis scare at the restaurant which customers had to go to the health department for a shot because one of their employees had hepatitis. He got even angrier and had the nerve to ask if I wanted to still order some chicken! Of course I didn't and will never go back to this restaurant. The dining room is not open at this location. They are only offering takeout and delivery. We ordered two orders of chicken and waffles and one order of the kids chicken and waffles. After reading many reviews on here, I also requested some Eddy's sauce. Oh my! Where do I start?! Everything was so good! The chicken wings were large, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside! They were seriously so good! You can dip them in the delicious Eddy's sauce or pair them with a bite of the super fluffy Belgian waffle with syrup! The waffles are so large and fluffy that one container of syrup is not enough - you will need two! My 12 year old and 5 year old cannot stop raving about their meals. They've asked if we can come back once a week (shrugs shoulders). They really loved the chicken and waffles so much! They also loved the Eddy's sauce! I was craving chicken and waffles and was feeling lazy so I had it delivered. I cant speak for the restaurant's location, cleanliness, or staff. This is strictly based on the food I had ordered. I ordered the chicken and waffles, some bacon, and some sausage. The bacon and sausage weren't anything special. I then ate the chicken which were full wings. The breading that they use had a wonderful taste with the spices they used. The chicken itself was very tender. I would eat here specifically for the wings. My favorite Chicken & Waffles spot in Columbus. I prefer the Livingston location because it has more of a diner-feel. This is more of a fast causal style. But the food is equally as good at both locations. I'd suggest this location if you are just grabbing and going. I didn't know that this was the second location! I have always went to the one on Livingston and alum creek! I absolutely love there chicken wing dinner!!! They are on Uber eats, and DoorDash! The dinners don't come with a drink so that sucks but huni there chicken is so delicious! Food is always hot! My order is never messed up and huni my orders are always big! They do have a many options of food to choose from! If you can't find it it's in a plaza and next door to DQ! They share the space! So when your done eating you can go over and grab some ice cream (I wouldn't recommend it) but maybe your experience at DQ won't be the same as mines! THE FOOD IS FAIRLY PRICED! I think the food starts at $4.00 for a 3 wing meal. So it's not expensive to eat here! There's plenty of parking! Ordered delivery through Ubereats. I ordered the fish (whiting) and wing meal and a side of fish (was BOGO free on app). The whiting was amazing, and perfectly breaded. I would have liked it to have been fried a bit harder, but it didn't take away from how good it tasted. The wings were fried a bit too hard for me, but had great flavor. Haven't tasted a breading like that on a wing before. It surprisingly came with fries! Which i could've done without it all honesty. At Livingston I had chicken & waffles which were very good. @ Noe Bixby & had fish, which was average. But obviously you cannot compare waffles/chicken to fish. I would not go back to the Noe Bixby restaurant to eat in, even though it's closer. It was not friendly or inviting. I would return to take my food for carry out.
