A pretty little coffee shop in a corporate center. It's a little hard to find at first so keep your eyes peeled as there are lots of little twists and turns in this area. Their ambiance is very nice as it's bright and the decoration is minimalist trendy. They have all the good caffeine infused drinks that you will need to get you thru your day. I got an iced green tea just for a refresher and at the same time the Orange Creamsicle Latte looked really good so I had to try it out. The latte was delicious and had a really good balance of both orange and vanilla. You won't have to add any sweetener to this I promise you. Unfortunately, minimal outlets if you're planning on studying for a few long hours. Despite this service was great! Staff is always so friendly every time I come in. When you order you get the option of for-here (drink would be served in a mug or glass cup) or to-go (drink served in paper cup for hot and plastic cups for cold). They have a place to put your finished cups in and right next to it is a water tap. Often times staff might circle around and collect your cups and plates from you. There is various merchandise, snacks, and bottled drinks to purchase when visiting. Oftentimes they will have pop-up events in their upstairs space which separates them from other cafes. first time! I came to this cafe with my friends for a co-working day. I got there at 10am on a Friday and got a booth for me and my friends to sit at. The place looked like it was surrounded by offices but it was easy to find parking. The cafe is small, but I didn't mind that since there was a lot of natural lighting and they played good music. I got an iced matcha latte. I usually like my drinks sweetened, so the owner directed me to the station on the side where I was able add the simple syrup myself. The wifi was fast and worked great even when I had to hop on work calls. Overall, I had a great experience here and I would love to come back for a work day again. read more

The latte from Roosevelt Coffee is good. I liked the plain one over the Vanilla because the Vanilla was a tad too sweet. I love the open feel of this coffee shop - it's modern and they have different styles of seating. I didn't try any of their pastries or food, but they do look good. I wish that they offered freshly roasted coffee beans. I know that coffee shops are pricey, but I felt that a regular latte at $5.50 is a bit steep and the Vanilla Latte at $6.50 was overpriced. Granted, I believe that their Vanilla syrup is made in house, but I still don't think it's worth $6.50. Roosevelt coffee is the go-to cafe for flavorful, beautiful and delicious specialty coffee. The Orange Creamsicle and Black Sesame lattes were outstanding! Coupled those with hot ham-n-cheese croissant and Ube Coconut cookie made this an unforgettable breakfast. Their staff were really friendly and helpful. Our complete order came out in less than five minutes. I love the cozy, relaxing ambiance here as I can watch others play board game, work on their laptop and just simply have a good time. I've been here twice the first time was alright, however the second time after ordering the banana matcha there was noticeably no banana flavor they possibly mixed up our drink with a regular matcha. Upon asking the barista she said she could add more banana flavor but she ended up just putting so much agave into the drink that it tasted like pure sugar, they do not do drink remakes when they mess up. This is the new aesthetic hot spot in Irvine!! I visited for a morning stroll and fell in love. The indoor area is lit with natural lighting with top to bottom glass walls. The parking is free outside in the parking lot. There's lots of parking in the morning :) When you first enter they greet you immediately-- Caleb was very kind and welcoming as well as getting my order in asap. Hip vibes from all the staff here including baristas and cashiers. The coffee here tastes authentic and deep. No Starbucks tasting kind. Legit coffee makes my day!! Very good quality with simple options on the menu. They also have pastries! I picked up a ham and cheese croissant and it was delish. Coffee lovers in South County rejoice! I just found this gem because I needed to kill time before a lunch appointment, and it was the perfect find. I will for sure be back! The ambiance is great and there is tons of seating and natural light. I loved the water cups readily available and booth seating if you want it. It's a great place to work or meet someone. I didn't notice too many outlets, but they may just be hiding. Because they had just opened, staff were still being trained but they were incredibly friendly and remembered my name when I left, which was definitely a plus in the hospitality department. I just tried a drip coffee and it was fine, just a tad expensive for filter. The rest of the prices for specialty drinks seem on par with other OC coffee spots. The shop is nestled in a business park off the 5 freeway, and is a little hard to find, so look for the big Bikram Yoga sign Nextdoor. While the people behind the counter seemed happy and polite our general experience with this coffee shop has not been great. To begin with, the floors and tables were not kept up. Keeping a coffee shop kept up is important. There was a sweaty gym type funky smell the second morning we tried this spot - not sure why. The friendly staff seemed busy so perhaps they didn't have enough staff for upkeep or nobody was assigned to it. The coffee is just ok. It certainly is not the quality of other spots around. I would even prefer the Starbucks across the street. It was so bitter that my father-in-law didn't want to try anymore after the sample and we did go to Starbucks instead. When trying to tame the over-bitter taste, they only had oat milk as an alternative. I guess gluten free dairy alternatives are not an option. The coffee, which is the first reason for a coffee shop was a general failure in our experience. The pastries we did not try in part because there were fruit flies in the pastry display. Not very appealing to me and speaks to a general cleanliness problem. Finally, we noticed how they reposted lewd sexual comments from another customer as a rave review from Yelp into their Instagram account (where children and families could see) and when anyone pointed to the lewdness of it they were ambushed by juvenile comments. This doesn't just speak to a bad social media experience of the company but a an immature management team that is missing everything that matters most - product, professionalism, and integrity for all customers. Thank you Yelp for having the integrity to remove the lewd comment. We will not be returning to this place and we couldn't ever recommend it to anyone else. read more
