I engaged with Roofix for a commercial-to-residential roofing "overhaul" in mid-2026. While I ultimately signed a contract with another vendor, I found the entire team very helpful, patient and engaging throughout the evaluation process. As soon as I reached out, they had prompt communication, clear and competitive pricing and just an overall friendly demeanor. Sergio and team are highly professional and I would recommend them to most anyone. read more

I recently hired Roofix Inc. to redo the soffits on my home, and the experience was outstanding. From the start, the owner, Sergio, was punctual and highly informative. He provided a very competitive estimate and a clear, concise contract that laid out the scope of work in impressive detail. What stood out most was the crew's professionalism and attention to detail. This was a labor-intensive project that lasted over a week, and the team maintained a high standard from start to finish. They arrived on time each day and were exceptionally conscientious about protecting our property--carefully covering plants, sidewalks, and windows. Sergio kept me updated throughout the week, ensuring I was informed of the daily progress and answering any questions I had. The cleanup was thorough, and the construction and final stucco work is absolutely flawless. Having hired many contractors over the years, I can say Roofix is at the top of my list for excellence and integrity. I highly recommend Sergio and his team for any roofing or soffit needs in San Diego and North County. I look forward to working with them again. read more

"We had roofix do a full roof replacement on our home. From the initial quote to the final walkthrough, their communication was great. The crew showed up on time, protected our landscaping, finished right on schedule, and the final price matched the original estimate with no hidden surprises. They even found some minor wood rot on the decking, showed us clear photos before fixing it, and kept us updated the whole time. Highly recommend roofix ! read more

I connected with them via yelp. They were very responsive and took care of everything I asked for and More. Even before they started the job, they patched the roof leak before a major storm that came back to finish a job once the storm was over. Had a professional walk-through at the end can't say anything but good things about this company great value. read more

ROOFIX was outstanding from start to finish. Sergio, Laura, Belle, and Juan were incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We had a second-story roof leak, and their communication--especially around scheduling changes due to rain--was excellent. Called for a free estimate for fixing some stand pipes on roof that solar company said had deteriorated and needed repair or replace. Roofix answered my request expeditiously, and said could have an estimator come out in afternoon to provide quote. Estimator came at appointment time, I explained situation and also asked if he could kindly take a look around roof for any roof or tile issues, he went on roof and came down to show me pictures of issues he found and provide quote to repair stand pipes along with some tiles that had slipped and flashing that needed to be sealed. He said he had equipment and items to complete all repairs and that afternoon and could provide discount since would save them a trip back, the quote was reasonable and he completed all repairs with pictures of repaired items. Outstanding service with excellent communication and fair pricing. Definitely would recommend. read more

Sergio responded promptly to my call to provide an estimate for roof repair. He provided a reasonable written estimate on the day he saw the roof. He also went above and beyond when I asked him as an aside for any ideas about removing a thick creosote stump He went to his truck, got his electric saw and cut it down without me even asking him to. I really appreciated this. It showed me he cares about people. read more

I have to say living in a construction site SUCKS!! But these guys made it so much easier. They were here everyday at 8 am even when it was 100 degrees out. They cleaned up after themselves everyday!!! I didn't know they were showing up on a Saturday and parked my car in the garage. The staff was amazing and stopped what they were doing to clean the driveway so I could back out my car. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!! read more

5 Stars - Excellent Experience I had a great experience with this small, family-owned roofing and gutter company. From the beginning, they were professional, respectful, and very responsive. My two-story home had aging, 30-year-old gutters that were pulling away from the roof and leaking in several areas. I received a clear, detailed estimate for both repair and full replacement options. Sergio took the time to thoroughly explain the process and answered all of my questions with care, helping me understand how cleaning and reinforcing the existing gutters could extend their life and function. The pricing for both the repair and replacement options was very reasonable. I appreciated the transparency of the digital estimate and contract process, which felt professional and protected both me and the company. The installation went smoothly, and their team was punctual and courteous. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and neighbors! read more

They will waste your time and then give you a ridiculous high quote! I had Roofix come out for a quote to clean out my rain gutters and fix any minor roof issues. I had a lift and replace when I did solar panels a couple of years ago so I know it was in decent shape. The guy that came out seemed that he could care less about the rain gutters. He walked the roof and mentioned that it was in pretty good shape except for a few loose tiles. There was one corner I showed him where the tiles seemed to far apart on a small valley flashing area and he suggested it was an easy fix. After a week I called them because I had not received a quote. I had to call again a few days later and then finally received it. It was a few thousand dollars and I was surprised. It mentioned fixing and replacing cracked tiles, redoing flashing, etc. It also stated that they would "hose" out my gutters. Well I asked them if I had any broken tiles, exposed nails, etc., and to break the quote up between my rain gutter cleaning and roof repairs. They never answered the broken tile questions but did send a new quote splitting the cost for the roof repairs and wanting $1,500 to hose out my rain gutters and $1,500. A water hose was not going to clean out the gunk in my gutters. I know because I have tried that on the lower gutters. I ended up hiring a reputable rain gutter cleaning service and they spent hours scooping and scraping the rain gutters and filled up a 5 gal bucket with stuff. They also fixed a couple of corner leaks and hammered in the gutters since there were some gaps. Did a great job for approximately 1/3rd the price. They mentioned that my roof looked fine and did not see any broken tiles. My son and I used his drone and did not see any broken tiles either. When I mentioned to Roofix my dissatisfaction with their quote, they came back with a response that fixing a roof is considerable investment and it was unfortunate that it was not within my budget LOL. They ignored the entire problem of the excessive quote and suggesting they were going to be fixing fixing things that are not broke. I am surprised at their good reviews given the terrible experience that I had. read more

they did an excellent job. very accommodating to my requirements and always available for communication. Definitely recommend them.

I was looking for a roofer that could replace the vents, skylight and fix termite damage and rat proof known rat entrances. I was very happy with the new underlayment applied. Sergio was referred by my neighbor and they got in & out quicker than the quoted time frame . read more

Sergio came to my house to quote for a roof leak repair. He pointed out that my issue was the wood siding, and not the roof. He was honest saying that a general contractor or handyman could likely fix the issue for cheaper than he + his crew, but provided a quote for his crew to fix it if desired. I really appreciated the honesty in diagnosing the issue and suggesting a fix. A different company had been over just a few hours before and didn't point out the siding problem, but instead wanted to charge a lot of money to redo part of the roof! Because of this honesty, I plan to use Roofix for my roof replacement in ~1 year (after I save up money). Sergio was kind enough to provide quick ballpark estimates for roof replacement in the future. He clearly pointed out what he'd recommend to do vs what may not be worth the money. Also mentioned that summer time is the best for roof repair / replacement because crews are typically less busy and don't need to worry about weather-proofing for rain as they work. read more

Sergio was excellent, prompt, and true to his word. He did the work on my roof recommended by the real estate inspector I had hired. He fixed the valleys in by roofing to allow water flow to go in the proper channels, replaced the cracked skylight, and replaced the broken tiles from a termite inspection. All at a very reasonable price. Appreciate his work, and highly recommend him. read more

Sergio and Laura helped me though this process. They were professional and fair priced. Would definitely recommend them!

It took 13 days from the day Roofix came to my house to look at the roof to get the estimate. It also took 3 follow up emails from me. Each time I got an email response apologizing and saying the estimate will be sent that day or the next day. When I finally got the estimate, it was 5 times as much as the two other estimates from other contractors. read more

Looking for a roofing company can be daunting. After all, this is the most important part of keeping your home safe from the elements, protecting your most valuable asset. All we can really go on (besides word of mouth) are a company's reviews. I saw that Roofix had 5-star ratings across the board. From the beginning of when I first met Sergio when he came out for an estimate, I felt pretty confident that he knew his industry. I knew our particular home, a Spanish style 2-story with clay roof tiles, would be a challenge. There were hips and valleys that would need to be done correctly. We had a few roofers out to the house for an estimate, and frankly, my confidence in them was weak. (One even tried to fix a leak immediately. See photos vs Roofix's amazing work.) And really, unless you get up on your roof yourself, you don't know what's up there, what is damaged and whether someone will really do the work correctly. Sergio's estimate was in between the two others. But the work Roofix did was outstanding! Every morning his crew showed up early and ready to get started immediately. They worked sometimes 12 hours per day in the heat of summer and got the house roof and detached garage completed in 7 days. Even my neighbor commented on how hard these guys were working day after day. They cleaned up each day before they left. There were several areas of our roof that had been leaking through the years, requiring plywood to be replaced, prior to putting the roofing materials back on. They did it, no problem. Also, we have rain gutters on our house and they made sure that the correct materials were installed so that the rain would fall into the gutters instead of behind them, rotting out the fascia boards. Speaking of which... we had 3 fascia boards that WERE rotted out because the gutter company never made sure the roofing materials allowed the water to go directly into the gutters. Sergio's crew replaced those rotted out fascia boards, put the gutters back in place, and everything is working properly! No more buckets inside the house while it's raining! I highly recommend Roofix Inc for your roofing needs. Sergio and Laura, his wife, take great pride in their company. They have good, sound contracts for you to sign. They make sure that everything is done professionally and legally. Their crew is outstanding. Roofix sets the bar for professionalism, excellent work ethics and exceptional skills. Thank you, Sergio, Laura and your excellent crew! The new roof is truly a work of art! read more

We had developed a roof leak over time, and Roofix came recommended. Sergio came out to take a look. Turns out, there was a tile "missing", no one knows why. The set up a time to do the repair, and it was during our heavy rains. Laura called and was able to get us in before the big storm. They showed up on time and left the area spotless.
