We ordered the fried calamari it was yummy, well seasoned and crunchy. For entrees we had the Godfather Pizza on GF cauliflower crust & the Arijillo Shrimp pasta (they have GF pasta!!) both were delicious!! Good size portion for the pasta lots of flavor! My wife was craving wood fired pizza and we stumbled upon this place on google! Boy, are we glad that we did! This place is awesome! The hot wings are HUGE and well sauced. The mozzarella sticks are decent. The pizza is fantastic and definitely the star of the show though. The ambiance is great with exceptional service, modern decor, and just a really great vibe. We went here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. It could be the location, but the restaurant itself is nice with a cool vibe and an awesome looking bar. We had wood fired pizza which was very good. My wife is gluten intolerant, so she had their gluten free crust which she said was excellent. The service and waitress were very nice. I just wished there had been more customers. It's always a bit disconcerting when you go to a restaurant that is empty on what should be a busy time of day. read more

A New Favorite Spot This was our first visit to Roma 23. The restaurant is clean and the staff are welcoming and even helped us select dishes based on our preferences On this visit we shared Jalapeño Hummus, Mango Habanero Wings and Pepperoni Pizza and everyrhing was delicious. The Jalapeño humus was my favorite, it had just the right amount of kick and was full of flavor. The flavor of the Mango Habanero wings was also very good. The wings were crispy, juicy and large, some of the best wings I've had in a while and the pizza was the perfect combination of toppings and sauce and the crust was amazingly tasty.. So excited to have a new dining option with a full bar in the neighborhood! We came during happy hour and had the mozzarella sticks which had a perfect cheese to breading ratio. The sauce was cold but they brought us a new one fairly quickly. He ordered the beef ravioli and loved it. I had the shrimp pasta. It was spicy but delicious. Been open a few weeks & seems they already have everything down. We had our fave server Crystal who worked at the previous restaurant. So nice to see a friendly face. The wood fired pizza was great. This place is like a little Italian restaurant but with 90s music. Menu is very decent not to overwhelm with different types of food. The service was great really friendly and helpful. The Godfather pizza ( pepperoni, sausage and chorizo) was great it was crispy. Wings were crispy and really great. The pasta was a little spicy but eatable and with the bread they gave me it took some of the spiciness. And a plus the fact that you can get the pasta gluten free. Definitely going back. read more

I had seen this restaurant recommended on TikTok from an az food vlogger that I decided to go and try it. The food was very bland and we tried to fix it with salt and pepper but nothing helped. Salad came out extremely late as well after we had finished out meals. The drink we had was great and it came in a cute shopping bag but overall not a great dining experience and wouldn't go again. The only reason they are getting even a 2-star is because the salad we had was good and the Lead manager who I've spoken to (twice now) was trying to help me- or at least hopefully she was.. We had a horrible experience where we came in with a little less than 30 minutes before close, and we ordered apps and then when we were ready to order our entrees, the kitchen "closed". No warning- no nothing. What's worse is our waitress said she asked them if they could make literally anything, considering we had at least 22minutes before close.. Didn't happen. What's even better was the fact that they had no problem making it known they were closing soon as one gentleman was literally staring at us as he cleaned the tables around us, almost seemed like he was trying to make us uncomfortable so we would leave. There were at least 3 other big parties in there, so no clue what two people was such an inconvenience. The General manager has not reached out, as I gave her ample time, and was told she would- TWICE. She's had over a month. At the end of the day, customer service is everything and this place has none- so I wouldn't recommend if you want good service. You can also get good food other places.. I understand closing times and what not as well, but if you don't want to work, go find a job somewhere else. read more

The Margherita Pizza was simply horrible . It was originally brought out undercooked with too much cheese . Margherita Pizza normally comes with fresh balled Mozzarella cheese ( not on this pizza ) and fresh basil. They took it back for another 5-6 minutes in the oven ( it was awful). Our friends ordered Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp ( gluten free pasta was not good. Spouse ordered Veggie Salad and Soup , the soup looked good but the salad was disappointing. Location and Service were good, BUT the food was not great at all, unfortunately. We tried three different pastas, Ajillo Shrimp, Spaghetti, and Alfredo. All three of them were bland. The Spaghetti noodles was over cooked, the sauce won't even stick to the noodles. So basically I was eating just the noodles, no sauce. The Alfredo had way too much pepper. The Ajillo, you can only taste the chili flakes, nothing else. The Calamari we had was overfried, they were dark brown. The Pizza was good tho, at least. We paid over a hundred bucks and we barely finished half of our plates. There are tons of room for improvement, and I can only hope for the best for this restaurant. read more

The food is AWESOME! The casual atmosphere is family-friendly with a bar area. Roma23 allows you to feel relaxed with bilingual personable staff. Most of all, the food is amazing and priced well for the value. I added pepperoni to the Heaven pizza (serves two), a Ceaser side salad, and creamy chocolate gelato. Absolutely love Roma 23! I came here with a bunch of my friends/ coworkers after a long week of nonstop work. We were hungry and tired, looking to eat, drink, and relax. The moment we entered, we knew this was the place to be. The patio had the best vibe and was a welcomed setting that helped us escape the chaos of work. The service was excellent...the wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions. Some must haves were the shrimp ajillo pasta, the pasta bolognese and wings. We also did the Godfather pizza and a make your own with pepperoni, mushroom, and jalapeños. It was perfectly crispy with just a hint of rustic smokey flavor. For drinks, we got the purse drink, Ciao Bella, that we never wanted to end. ..And the When in Roma, which had 4 different Aeperol Spritz's. Krystal is a master bartender.
