I love this place. We have season passes to the Rattlers and this is our go to for pregame. I looooove the quesadillas and my husband got a pork dish.

Banging! Went in right before game. Great food, great drinks, great service. Would def come again. To management: highly recommend putting up more signs. I thought you were only opened for brunch but my buddy said na, let's go up. Glad we did!

This has become my new favorite restaurant at Westgate. We went for my birthday dinner and I have been here one other time in the past and it was great. It's a little more pricy than other places, but I will say that speaks to the quality of the food and drink. I had the tacos and they were great. Our server was amazing and the overall vibe is amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and we will be back!

So good! The mole enchiladas are so good they have a little spice to them, the guac with the pork belly is a good starter and Tomahawk was perfect the tostaditas are also a fav! The place is really nice too!

The drinks were good. A bit pricy, but good. The mood was just right and the food was great

Let's just start off with the obvious that the ambiance and decor is aesthetically pleasing, however, everything else was a disappointment. First maybe where we went wrong was getting sushi at a Mexican restaurant, but maybe don't offer sushi if you can't make it good. It's just a bad business model. As for the chile relleno, I wish the poblano was roasted more but overall good but very very cheesy. As for the price point, pricey for the quality of food. $17 for Tito's soda ?? Not even a specialty drink

Nice place. The interior is beautiful. Service is crazy fast and attentive. Modern Mexican in that they have some classics while also having sushi on the menu. Asked what their signature dish was and it was a Chicken Mole Enchiladas. The dish is gorgeous. See picture below. But it came out room temperature and the Mole was a mild Mole versus that deep rich complex Mole that I was expecting. The place was crowded so give them a try and maybe I just got an off dish that night.

The ambiance at Talum modern Mexican was really nice, the service was friendly. But most of the food was no bueno. The margaritas were pretty good though, and I got a spicy cucumber drink as well which was good. I honestly wouldn't come back here most likely, maybe if they would add live entertainment or something to go with the drinks, but not to eat. They even left my item that I sent back because it was so bad, on the bill and didn't take it off. Not very hospitable.

The restaurant has a modern yet welcoming vibe, and it's easy to settle in and enjoy your time. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, generously portioned, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to quality, and the menu offers something for just about everyone. The drinks were equally impressive--well-crafted, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. What truly stood out was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel even more enjoyable. Overall, Thirsty Lion delivers consistently great food, excellent drinks, and outstanding service in a fun, energetic atmosphere. It's the kind of place you'll find yourself coming back to again and again, whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or spending the evening with great company. Highly recommend!

My first visit was on 8/22/25 for their healthcare night, where showing your healthcare job badge would get you an additional free raffle ticket from Cocina Hangouts (local food truck), on top of the free raffle ticket you could've received by following them on Instagram. Kind of underwhelming lol, but it did the job of attracting my party of 3 to the bar. I tried the Sweet Cheeks, which was sweet and unique and refreshingly light. The next time I stopped by was the very next day 8/23/25 for their Super Smash Bros tournament of up to 32 players, $10 buy-in, and cash prize (and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd place). There was 1 set-up with a large projector and 2 MC's. This was my first Smash tournament, but I didn't get to stay long due to work the next day, and I didn't purchase a drink. The event was very lively and crowded, and I wished I stayed longer! Will be back to participate/spectate another tournament. Overall lively dive bar that can provide a fun but chill night out! I'm also looking forward to taking advantage of their Monday-Friday 2-6p HAPPY HOUR if I have the chance.

We made a reservation online ahead of time just in case there was a rush, and we were glad we did. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Park West Plaza area, surrounded by several other businesses, and there was plenty of parking available. Upon arrival, the hostess was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She checked us in promptly and escorted us to our table right away. Our server, Laura, was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to enjoy providing great customer service. She answered all of our questions about the menu and drink options, kept our beverages refilled, and cleared our plates promptly without us ever having to ask. Laura truly helped make our dining experience exceptional. Although the restaurant was moderately busy due to the World Cup game, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food arrived. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. For our meal, we ordered: * Two Chicken Sandwiches with fries and ranch on the side * A Jammed Up Burger cooked well-done with extra Jammed Up toppings served on the side The food was excellent. The chicken sandwiches were flavorful, and the fries were perfectly prepared. The Jammed Up Burger was also delicious. Our only minor suggestion would be that the Jammed Up sauce could be blended a bit smoother, as it was somewhat chunky. However, the flavor was still fantastic. One of our favorite features is the Happy Hour, which is offered seven days a week. We understand it runs from approximately 2:30 or 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM and then returns again from 8:00 PM until closing. Happy Hour includes select appetizers and drinks, making it a great value. There was a small discrepancy regarding the rotating cocktail pricing. Our server mentioned it was $5 during Happy Hour, while the menu listed it at $7. We're not sure if the pricing recently changed or if there was simply a misunderstanding, but it may be worth clarifying for future guests. The atmosphere was one of the highlights of our visit. The décor is beautiful, modern, and inviting. There is ample outdoor seating, which would be especially enjoyable during cooler evenings. The patio area features televisions and games, creating a fun and relaxed environment for groups and families. We also noticed what appeared to be a setup for live music. While we're not certain which days performances take place, it would be wonderful to see live music offered regularly on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Overall, the service, food, atmosphere, and overall vibe were excellent. Laura provided outstanding customer service, and every aspect of our visit made for a memorable afternoon. We will definitely be returning and look forward to our next visit.

Last night we went for dinner and the service was absolutely awful. The food wasn't great. I feel like this building was built on an Indian burial ground because nothing seems to survive here. The atmosphere is great. The patio music is insanely way too loud. There were only two tables with people at it so we asked if the music could be turned down a smidge as we could not hear one another at all. We were not accommodated. We ended up having to leave as beautiful as it is. I don't know if our waitress was new, but she kind of argued with my friend when she asked for warm chicken on her jalapeño Caesar. She said she didn't know if that was something they can do and I just blurted out give her warm chicken on her salad and then when her salad came, it was literally drenched in Caesar dressing. A quarter of the bowl was full as if someone forgot to actually put the salad in the bowl. My friend had to actually ask for a bowl of salad so that she can fill up the bowl and soak up the drenched salad that was sitting in the bowl. My Chicken Caprese wasn't bad but it was wrapped in very wilty lettuce that just looked gross. The french fries felt extremely hard and stale at the same time. The chicken was so tough when I was cutting it, my french fries were falling on the floor and all over the table. We sat with dirty dishes for quite a long time could not find our waitress. I will never go back here. I don't anticipate it will be open for very long. Hubby ordered the Spicy Vodka pasta. His roll was soggy as it came on the pasta (sauce) He wanted to ask for cheese but not one staff member was around to ask for the entirety of our meal. He was done before we saw our waitress again. I should have known when it was 6pm and we were able to secure a 645 reservation. Whoever owns this place should be there every day for a month and regulate what is happening there

Based on the photos online, it looked like the perfect place for our group to gather. I confirmed my reservation through both the email and text reminders. On the day of our reservation, another partner agency happened to be in town and wanted to join us. Since the website wouldn't let me modify the reservation, I called four times after they opened to see if I could add a few more people. Unfortunately, no one ever answered the phone. We decided to arrive early and ask in person. The Service When we arrived, the restaurant was absolutely packed. The hostess told us we were welcome to walk through the bar to see if we could find a table ourselves, but that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't have anything available. After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events. What disappointed me wasn't the crowd--it was having a confirmed reservation, receiving multiple confirmation requests, making several unanswered phone calls beforehand, and ultimately being left without a table or a meaningful explanation.
