And just about all the karaoke is just going to be country. And beyond the sparsely populated patio and little corner of the parking lot, everything on Olive is so empty that I felt like this was some saloon in the middle of nowhere like Tombstone or Needles or Indio or Kingman. The next time I stopped by was the very next day 8/23/25 for their Super Smash Bros tournament of up to 32 players, $10 buy-in, and cash prize (and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd place). There was 1 set-up with a large projector and 2 MC's. This was my first Smash tournament, but I didn't get to stay long due to work the next day, and I didn't purchase a drink. The event was very lively and crowded, and I wished I stayed longer! Will be back to participate/spectate another tournament. Overall lively dive bar that can provide a fun but chill night out! The area is kind of small for the pool tables, so you're kind of trying to navigate hitting the ball and hitting somebody in the gut, lol. The men's bathroom was horrible for a few months. It literally smelled like the sewage lines had broken and spilled into the whole bar and it reeked. The men and women had to use the same restroom for a while. But they got it fixed. They have darts, but it's out on the back patio and let's just say in Arizona that's a recipe for disaster. Because dust is so thick on the machines you can't even see the screen. I saw the bartender lady literally walked out the door screaming at a customer saying, "suck my.@&$!" and throwing up the middle finger! All in all, the drinks were cheap. The people are OK, except for one guy who was just naturally a jerk, but I digress. If you're looking for a true neighborhood, dive bar to grab a quick beer or a stiff drink on your way home, this is the place. But my suggestion, just pay cash and and never open a tab, always close your card with every transaction. I've never had any issues with overcharging, but apparently others have.
