The next time I stopped by was the very next day 8/23/25 for their Super Smash Bros tournament of up to 32 players, $10 buy-in, and cash prize (and other prizes for 2nd and 3rd place). There was 1 set-up with a large projector and 2 MC's. This was my first Smash tournament, but I didn't get to stay long due to work the next day, and I didn't purchase a drink. The event was very lively and crowded, and I wished I stayed longer! Will be back to participate/spectate another tournament. Overall lively dive bar that can provide a fun but chill night out! The chilaquiles were incredible -- full of flavor, fresh, and so comforting. The coffee was delicious too, the kind that makes you want a second cup. The restaurant is warm, welcoming, and inviting, and the staff couldn't have been kinder. Everyone was helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. But this time, with lower lights, way more space, and sports quietly streaming into the lobby. And best of all--a decent patio! This is exactly the kind of place you'll want to go to watch the game while carrying a conversation with a small group.
