I just got done eating breakfast at Ricky's Cafe! They painted the inside and it's bright and airy. The waitress is friendly, competent & professional. Found this place on Yelp with high ratings and MAN, it did not disappoint!! I had the steak sandwich and i quite literally have "no notes", it was perfect in every sense of the word. What could top such a great sandwich you ask? Only the service!! Have to give it 5 stars. Ambiance of course could be better as i'm usually about the ambience. But Service & Food quality far exceeds that of any restaurant we've been to. Very clean inside, server great.. But the FOOD. Best breakfast sandwich my husband has ever had, & he takes this serious. Best fish tacos I've ever had. Fresh, light, not fishy, with an amazing slaw & spice. Don't let the menu discourage you as it is a random range of items, but my guess is anything you choose, you will love! read more

Sometimes you can get unlucky and just pick the wrong thing at a restaurant. But when you own a restaurant, everything has to be good or your customer might order the one thing that isn't. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and it probably was the worst I ever had. For eggs Benny, it's all about the hollandaise sauce. The sauce was runny, not creamy. And it had too much lemon juice that ruined it. My wife ordered a traditional two egg breakfast with sausage. They brought bacon. For $50 for breakfast, we were disappointed. They got two stars because staff was friendly and ambiance was pleasant and inviting. read more

Had a great meal here with the family. Service was super friendly and the food top shelf. Had a special -- shrimp poblano omelette -- that was perfectly cooked. First time was very pleased . Great service, excellent food. I had a delicious classic burger and it was no problem to sub grilled chicken even tho not on the menu. Delicious sauces, bun and extras. Fries were lightly seasoned and crisp on outside and fluffy inside, delish. This place is certainly going to do well. Looks like many people have already discovered it. We stopped in this place on a whim and we are so glad we stopped! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing! My husband got huevos rancheros and I got eggs Benedict and both were stellar! New family took over Rockys Cafe and we were on a weekend getaway. We walked from the Tides hotel which was short 15mins. The service was welcoming and warm. We went to the Del Monte Cafe for many years and enjoyed very good food & service. Apparently they have moved and their former location is now Rocky's Cafe. First time at Rocky's today and we were not disappointed. The menu is slightly different but the food and service were both very good. We have gone to Rocky's Cafe many times and always enjoy the experience! We choose a special table outside for al fresco dining that is heated. We typically enjoy breakfast there and I love their veggie omelette and my husband enjoys the sea food omelette. The service is excellent and our waitress is always friendly and professional. We love that this restaurant was named for the owner's dog...and we know that the owner has also been a long term professional chef at a top restaurant in Pebble Beach as well. Ate breakfast for the first time there today, had the Dutchess omelette with fried potatoes and my husband had the omelette, but left out the bell peppers cause he's allergic to them but this restaurant I highly recommend the breakfast was delicious.
