Birthday Celebration: and decided to try out this new location. Kudos for their being able to accommodate eight of us without a heads up. I wasn't able to make a reservation. We were seated immediately outside as per our request. Service came quickly and our orders were taken. Our server was helpful and courteous. Now for the food, ample portions and arrived in a timely fashion. Our grandson would have appreciated it come sooner. I suggest crackers for kids to tide them over. I ordered off their special brunch menu. Brioche Breakfast Burger with skirt steak. Very tasty but a little messy. The bottom bun got a bit soggy. The food was flavorful and presented well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, particularly the kids. This place is very kid friendly with a variety of choices for the younger palate. One thing about lalla's they are consistent, and the service is very good. Not sure what the total bill was as someone else treated me. Come check out this newest location for lalla's.

Came in the other day and got the Salinas valley blue with hanger steak. This was a well rounded and delicious plate. The steak was a touch over done but that did not take away from the dish at all, just preference for how it was cooked so they could have done better with prep. That said, would definitely get that same salad again. All the flavors mixed nicely and paired amazing. Highly recommend. Nice open layout with plenty of seating both inside and on the patio.

Let me start off by saying I am a long time fan of the Lala restaurants. Lalapalooza on down town Alvarado was one of my all time favorites. Hazelnut coated halibut and their stellar focaccia were iconic. They started Lala Grill at the Del Monte mall and it was a lunch time staple where good food and reasonable cost could be found. Imagine my surprise when I learned they opened another in Marina. Coming in, parking was adequate and the decor and staff were impeccable. At this point I genuinely expected my experience to be as exceptional as always. The smash burger spoke to me so i ordered it without onions as they give me heart burn. What arrived soon after was an appealing dish with a burger smothered in onions. Now I know mistakes happen and I never expect perfection. I politely let me waiter know and he acknowledged I had asked for no onions and he apologized asking if I wanted them to remake the burger. To which I replied yes please. Two minutes later the very same dish was returned. I know this because i could see where i had dipped my fries in the ketchup tin. My waiter stopped by to see if I was good, to which i noted I could see where the onions were pulled off the top removing the cheese and still leaving some strands of onion. He asked if I wanted to send it back. At this point, in my heart of hearts I know that whoever made the decision to remove the onions vice make a new one would not be pleased if I sent it back a third time. No telling what gifts they might leave. The burger was okay minus the cheese but somewhere deep inside me the enamor I harbored for all things Lala just died. I am doing this review to capture that experience and hopefully have management correct the issue. At the end of the meal i was just sad and disappointed. I would not the cookie skillet was a great way to placate those feelings but I feel as though there is a larger concern in the kitchen. As for the service staff nothing but great and for them I offer 4 stars.

The hostess and staff were very attentive and quick to seat us, even though the restaurant was quite busy on a Saturday evening around 7:00 PM. My wife and I both enjoyed our cocktails--they were well-balanced and expertly crafted. For dinner, my wife chose the Argentine Chicken, and I had the Birria Burger. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with excellent flavor and beautiful presentation. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. As locals, we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Pulled into town for some golf tomorrow. Saw this restaurant and figured I give it a try. The restaurant has been open for. business for under a month. Was immediately seated at the bar. Service 4/5: It took a few minutes for the 2nd bartender to take my drink order....walked by me multiple times without acknowledging me. Most would ask if I wanted to order food. She walked away. I had to wave her back after 5 mins. Food: 5/5. Ordered the Carne Asada tacos (3). It's served w pinto beans. Carne asada was cooked to perfection. Had a little kick to it . Pinto beans were good as well. Nice buzz in this new establishment. They do have patio seating which was full earlier. Give this place some time to iron out some process kinks...they'll be good. There are sister restaurants in Del Monte and Oceanside.

Perfect meal, was well balanced tasted fresh and made to order. The inside was nice and clean. I will 100% be coming back. And on top of it, it was a Togo order usually I don't have the best Togo dining experiences. This restaurant had real hospitality. Thank you!

The Brûlée Waffles is very delicious & Asada Fries is decent but 2 old fashioned drinks were terribly sweet. The waiter Diego was terrible he didn't bother to check on us leaving like we had no service at all. We reported this to the Manager on duty like he already knew who the waiter was ... lol !

I was so skeptical about this place due to the prices and new location, but it exceeded my expectations and went beyond. Diego was an attentive server who checked on us often. Double checked what we wanted and how we wanted the food to come out. We started with a delicious leek soup that was warm, tasty, and delicious. We asked for the fries to come with our entrees and they were so good. Definitely using fresh fries! The enchilada platter was a big serving with no shortage of carne asada. Lastly, the main star. The best burger I've had at a restaurant was the birria burger. Who would thought to combine the two?? Whoever cooked this burger for me needs a raise. Whoever thought of this burger deserves to have both sides of their pillow cold. Overall this was a great meal and experience. It's worth the money and more! Can't wait to try their drinks next time. Seems like a perfect spot to bring your friends. :)

Amazing new spot! I loved the decor, the vibes, and the great ambience. There is a wonderful bar in the middle and they have the most amazing drinks! I had the French martini, which was perfect! Diego was our server and was so kind, warm, and welcoming! Carlos is the manager I think and made us truly feel at home. This place was so kid-friendly too! Their kid menu was huge and had everything from pizza and Mac and cheese to Junior steak and salmon! I had the Argentine steak and my husband had the salmon - both were delicious. We had the bread pudding for dessert and it was fabulous. This is our new favorite local joint and we can't wait to go back!

First time visiting this location. Ambiance was very relaxing and it wasn't too crowded around midday. Service and food was excellent. Overall a pleasant experience.

Delicious food. This was my second time here and both times the drinks have been mid. Aside from that service, food, and experience is top tier. Love the heaters and fireplace they have outside.

We were here on 06/26 Friday night around 7pm and the restaurant was pretty packed. The hostess told us there's going to be a 25 min wait which was understandable. We were seated around 7:30 in their patio where the hostess has warned us it will be warm because of the heaters. When we got to our seats it was indeed warm but they couldn't turn it lower. We ordered and there was a bit of a wait for the food to come out because I guess the kitchen was busy. We did order calamari for appetizers but the weird thing was it came with the mains. We ordered the lalla burger, bacon something burger, chicken piccata and chicken argentine. The calamari tasted a little different not like how we're used to. I'm not sure if it's because they used different kinds of squid. The burgers were good and the chicken piccata was good too but I felt like it needed a little more seasoning. The Chicken argentine that my friend ordered looked dry and we had to ask the server for the chimichurri sauce. The place loo nice and if you want a loud crowd ask to be seated in their patio. If you prefer not so loud stay inside.

I met family here for dinner & we all enjoyed our food. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night, our food took a little bit of time but it was worth it, lots of variety on the menu, something for everyone, we didn't try an desserts, maybe be time

We drive by and didn't expect it to be opened already. Great customer service, hopefully it remains like that all the time.

first time here, and not a good experience. when you walk…read morein, there is no one to greet you or even tell you whether to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. we didn't notice a table open enough for 3 yet anyways so we sat up front and waited.. finally saw a table get cleaned so WE asked an employee passing by if we could sit there. After sitting for 10-15 minutes without an employee checking on us for a drink order. When the server did come over we just ordered drinks and all of our food. 20 minutes later, server comes over to tell my bf that they are sold out of huevos rancheros! at this point we've already been here for about 45 minutes at this point. so we were definitely upset that coming back 20 minutes after taking our order that they are out of them item when we were expecting our food. anyways, bf had to change his order. asked for steak and eggs (steak cooked medium rare) order comes out steak is well done. bill comes and we were changed for a side of bacon that they never brought out. also no kids menus. im not sure if it was just a bad day, but first impression i was really disappointed in the service. no apologies were made either.
