On Sunday around 12:30 p.m., near Blue Oaks Boulevard by Habit Burger and the AMPM, I had one of Rocklin Pest Control's employees driving extremely close behind my vehicle--so close that I couldn't even see his headlights in my rearview mirror. When I pulled into the AMPM parking lot, I was making a right turn into a parking space. I did swing a little wide, and I did not use my turn signal. While I acknowledge that mistake, it did not justify what happened next. The employee pulled in behind my vehicle, rolled down his window, and began verbally assaulting me. I told him he should have stopped tailgating me. In response, he made comments about sexually assaulting me, called me a dumb b****, and used several other vulgar insults. So even if I made the mistake of not using my turn signal, this employee felt comfortable enough to verbally assault a woman while driving a company vehicle. That behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the company. I called the company today to speak with a manager. The receptionist explained that he was in a meeting, which I understood. I called back later after the meeting had ended, but by then he had already left for an inspection. What disappointed me most was that I never even received a phone call acknowledging my complaint or attempting to schedule a time to discuss such a serious incident. I did finally get a call back. The manager said he will talk to him but I hope they do more than just talk to him. He should be let go. He threatened to sexually assault me.... They should be very concerned they have a man who is working for them with this short of fuse over a blinker that goes to people's homes... he was willing to do this in a very public setting. Who knows what would have happened in it wasn't so public. I was worried for my safety. So I'm concerned also for the potential safety of customers especially read more

I wish I would have seen the reviews prior to contacting them. We made an appointment for tomorrow for Weevils in my kitchen. Yesterday, I start receiving texts about the "work" I have to do before they will come. Question and question. It was so odd. It felt like I had to beg for their services, which is stupid. I have attached the text thread. I love the instructions and "call us when you have done all that" like I am their employee. Wow. read more

Rocklin Pest Control - Pest Control Near Me - Roseville, California

Just don't. Their service is marginal. I received a quote that seemed extremely high. I reached out to multiple other companies for estimates. Rocklin Pest came in 4 times the price of every other company for an identical job! read more

I enjoy working with this service and have done so for over 15 years. They are reliable, trustworthy and there in a moment's notice. Over the years, while having regular service, I've also had to call them in for various reasons (wasps, rats, flying ants...yuk!). They were always friendly, professional and never made me feel like I wasn't their most important customer. I highly recommend them. I live next to a forested area, so every year has the potential for a new adventure, but I never worry with Rocklin Pest just a phone call away. read more

This company came out to evaluate my house for a VA Refi. OMG. He was terrible! Said my garage was to full to inspect. Seriously? Sure. After $13,000 our house would be perfect. Many made up items. Liar Made doing our Refi he'll! read more

I want to say not to use this company Had them come and do repairs for certificate ,my husband is a disabled veteran you would think they would just do what they said they were suppose to do . They initially had one of their employees write the work order and now they say no it's more money beware , that I needed for refinance signed work order only to have 4 guys show up today and call another guy Don that. Came and said now the work is 7500 more . The original work order was 4500. Cancelled work they are a joke and are trying to get more money . I will make it my business to tell everyone not to use this service. They are a rip off . So unprofessional read more

I used this pest control company for what appeared to be a small bat and turned out to be a moth! The guy Rich who came out was so kind and nice and got it taken care of in less than 15 minutes! They will be getting referrals from me ! read more

I used these guys for 4 years in a row. This one being the last. They used to send a middle aged woman over and she worked wonders. Thorough spray, cleaned spiders off the building, super friendly and attentive. This year was much different. They called in advanced, told us we did not need to leave the house that it would be fine. They showed up and the tech acted shocked we were planning to stay. He refused to spray the whole property, didn't locate the source of the problem and the bugs came right back. All previous years they came sprayed everything everywhere once and killed all the things. This time was a half ass lazy af job by some kid who obviously was more concerned with getting himself out instead of the job itself. I had to call another company out which was over $100 cheaper and came with 4 follow up appointments. Considered cancelling the check I used to pay them, but then I'd do business even worse than them. That is not a level of shame I am willing to undertake. Never again will I call these guys and you shouldn't either. This is your warning. read more

We received an estimate from Rocklin Pest and my frustration is how expensive the quote was as well as the problems that were described. We received 4 estimates for the same services- Rocklin Pest Control was WAY over the average price of the other companies. The other 3 companies said we had mice (I know because I SAW one) yet Rocklin Pest said we had rats. There are no rat droppings, the other 3 companies confirmed they are mice. I feel like Rocklin Pest Control was trying to induce fear by saying we had rats. The technician who gave us a quote said we needed to remove part of our tile roof to fix the problem. The estimate was over $2,000 to get started, plus a monthly service fee...absurd! I feel like they knew I was grossed out by the mice (cuz, who wants mice running around their home!) and tried to take advantage of the situation. Not impressed. I try to promote local businesses and leave only positive reviews but this estimate was outrageously high. read more

I hired Rocklin Pest Control to perform dryrot damage repairs on my home. The construction crew did a great job!

Darian is the best! He came to my home for pest control and was knowledgable, friendly, considerate, and went above and beyond with my home. Before the service, I had initially planned on calling around, but when I spoke with AJ about the process, he was so on point I knew it was no longer needed. Their pricing, availability, and overall service exceeded my expectations. They really helped to completely turn around a stressful situation into something I can feel confident in. Thank you so much. Without a doubt will call them next time! read more

We had a tight timeline for our home inspections, and Don let us know as soon as they had a cancellation, and they fit us in. Don was there exactly when he said he would be there, even though he was coming in from Rocklin to Diamond Springs. He was professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable throughout the time he spent on the property. He also took pictures so that he could show us exactly what was going on. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I would highly recommend this well-organized company. read more

I began using Rocklin Pest Control about a year after moving to my new home in Rocklin. I contacted them because of rodent problem. They were the only company that was able to handle the problem I was dealing with, AND, they did great job. I have used them ever since. All the technicians are great but I must point out that David Parsons always goes the extra mile. He communicates what he's found and what he's done to resolve any issues that he may have undercovered. He always gives me a heads-up as to when he will arrive and he's a very nice person to deal with. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of pest control. Larry read more

It was time to paint my 35 year old house but the painters said I needed to have dry rot fixed first. I went through a few contractors before finding Rocklin Pest control .They came out , did a complete inspection with photos and a detailed report. I contracted them to fix my dry rot. They had a crew come out and do the work which took about 2 1/2 days. The work was excellent and everything was ready for my painters. I would recommend this company highly for any dry rot repair. read more

I also used them to repair Dry Rot on my house and I must say that Chad, Loni and Brandon did a fantastic job on the repair of this project. They are very professional, courteous and friendly. they clean up after themselves and complete the job in a very timely manner. Don was very knowledgeable, with a pleasant easy going attitude. Was able to work with us on short notice. Inspection itself was a fair price and very detailed. After, I feel good about knowing all of the dry rot on the property. Family business so it's always nice to support these companies who take such pride in the work they do. Highly recommended. read more

Don, Denise, and Rich have been amazing! Every time we have a question about the bugs that pester our lives, they have had the answers we're looking for. Their team members show up when they say they will and do the work they are hired to do. For me, those are the main things that I'm looking for in a service provider for my home. To top it all off, their prices are fair for the quality of service and chemicals used, unlike the other companies that use the cheap stuff. To boot, I get the good feeling of knowing that I'm supporting a local business in my community. I'm grateful to know we have pillars in our community like the folks at Rocklin Pest Control. Thank you again for keeping the pests to a minimum in our little piece of Rocklin. read more

I'm in the process of purchasing property in Lincoln, CA. Had Rocklin Pest Control perform the pest inspection. I'm very pleased with their services. Don was the inspector. Very matter of fact, but personable; very professional. Five star service. Report was provided the same day with all the details I needed. The report so good I was able to obtain the proper credits from the home seller. My family has purchased 3 properties in the area, and Rocklin Pest Control is our go to inspector! Look no further! read more

Not impressed with this company. They were hired NOT by us to do a pest inspection. Not only was their estimate OUTRAGEOUSLY high, they also have some special notes in their contract stating that if while ripping out our perfectly good bathroom they damage our carpet, it's not their fault. And don't forget the, if you DONT use them for repairs they could take up to 4 months to re inspect, but of course they have to inspect while everything is open. Good luck with that one. Maybe they saw me as a dumb young person who knew nothing about homes. Well, they were very wrong. I've been under my house and in my attack. I re roofed our house less than 1 years ago. I have friends who are licensed contractors who have inspected my home with great things to say. I'm not saying there is nothing to fix in my house, because there is. It's 70 years old! However, when other companies are coming in with quotes 40-60% less than yours but finding the same problems, there is a MAJOR issue with your ethics. My point....look elsewhere! read more

Great company that I'm happy to do business with. I have had Rocklin Pest Control both service my current home and recently do a pest inspection for me on the new home I'm purchasing. Ever since I had them begin servicing my house I have not had any more trouble with ants or rats. I was also very impressed with their level of detail of my pest inspection on my new home. In addition to the services itself, Robert (pest technician) and Don (pest inspection) are both very personable and a pleasure to work with. read more

This review is for inspection only. Donald Jones came out to do a pest inspection on a house we are trying to buy. He was very professional and very experienced, he spent close to 4 hours digging into a very small crawlspace. He took many great photos, and found so many problems inside. The sellers provided a pest inspection report prior with nothing on it, which of course I don't trust. Don did a wonderful job for us, and his fees are very very reasonably. We ended up withdrawing our offer to the house for all the problems he had found. He saved us thousands on repairs, and a gave us a peace of mind and a confident decision. I can't thank him enough and he will be my go to guy for pest inspection in the future! read more

I usually only write reviews to describe ho well a business has been in the past or how bad, and unfortunately this one is to describe a good business going bad. I signed an agreement to do pest control for my primary residence for a year that will expire in June of 2017, which has been going great up until today that I called to stop the service because we are MOVING to SAN DIEGO and this business doesn't do business in SAN DIEGO, hence I can't continue with my contract, not because I don't want, just because you guys can't provide the service on the place where I am moving and because of that move, this business wants to charge me an early termination fee of $ 75.00 dollars, really ? The owner just hanged up the phone instead of providing a feasible solution. what a great way to do business, hang up the call on your customers when you can't handle a situation read more

Wow. Don is not just a consummate professional -- he is a compassionate and thoughtful person as well. We moved to Rocklin a year ago and a few weeks after moving in I discovered a GIANT black widow in bush next to our house. Subsequently, we learned that there are lots of black widows who reside in Rocklin. We found Rocklin Pest Control through Yelp and have been with them ever since. On their first visit, Don discovered several black widow eggs in our garage. He excitedly showed the eggs our kids (who were delighted) and my wife (who was disgusted). It is pretty clear that these guys actually like what they do and are good at it. With the weather getting warmer, my wife noticed some spider webs around our house, and Rocklin Pest Control came out for a supplementary spraying free of charge. We highly recommend this fabulous local company! read more

I have a rat problem in my attic which falls within "the world might end" fear category. Awesome technician Troy came out and exuded kindness and an abundance of helpful information. He tolerated my excessive delusional questioning about all the what ifs and I of course am super excited about getting rid of rodents. Mid priced but quality pest control isn't something I want to skimp on so I am very pleased! read more

This is a great company. I found termites in my house and phoned Rocklin Pest Control. Denise answered all my questions and arranged for an inspection. Don Jones, one of the owners did the inspection and was reassuring and answered all my questions. They set up the termite treatment on a Sunday just 6 days after the inspection. I can't say enough good things about Chad and his 3 man team who arrived to do the work. Chad explained everything clearly and the whole team was so professional and hard working. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs pest control. As the work was being done one of my neighbors came over to get a company business card! A great company!! read more

Please make sure you check the property before you sign up or pay this company for their services. We had a technician from Rocklin Pest control come out to do a service at a building that has been vacant for over three years. After the service was done we discovered multiple black widows and a hornets nest that was missed during the service. The initial service was $210, unless we signed for a month to month service the initial service would be guaranteed. After the service we decided to get a second opinion due to the inadequate service provided by Rocklin Pest. We called Clark pest control to look at the property and discover multiple areas that were missed by Rocklin Pest. Clark Pest was professional and educated us on the problem areas, also no pressure to sign up for their bi-monthly service which was very different from Rocklin Pest's approach. Rich, you told us you would have liked the opportunity to come out and do another service after we requested a refund for your service which was clearly done poorly. If you had done a thorough job the first time we would not have had to get a second opinion on the property. I hope my $210 helps you out in the short term. read more

Hired them to patch the holes allowing rodent access to my attic and garage. They tried I suppose. I was able to trap several rats after their patching, but months later we still have a problem. I asked for a re-inspect. Someone came out and walked around the house looking up a bit. They never entered my attic or went up on the roof. I was then told I needed to spend more money on their trapping program for them to find the additional holes. That makes no sense to me. I went into the attic and found more unpatched holes myself (and patched them). I'm certainly missing some still (I'm not a pest control expert after all) and will definitely be looking into using a different company to repair those in the future. I spent over $1000 with this company with no real results. Not recommended. read more
