Thank God we found Gage. I'm guessing they saved us thousands of dollars in potential damage from rats that got into the basement in Granite Bay. Don't wait, they can do significant damage FAST. These guys saved us. read more

We are so glad we found Gage! Dealing with aggressive rats in Midtown Sacramento isn't easy with all the neighboring restaurants, but Gage got the job done. He was more reasonably priced than other top-rated exterminators and took genuine pride in making sure our place was completely clear of rats. Fantastic service! 5 stars all the way around. read more

Great communication and solid work. Showed up on time and was pleasure to work with. Pricing was better than other quotes I received. Would definitely recommend! read more

Gage reached out quickly and scheduled an inspection where he found several places rodents could enter our attic. He scheduled the repairs and set traps within the week and came back to clear the traps. We haven't heard any rodent activity since and we are very happy. Great communication, service and pricing, highly recommend! read more

I'd been battling a variety of rodents for months. Every time I thought I'd turned the corner in the rodent wars, they'd come back. Well, no more. I called Rats Rodent Control and it was promptly handled. He found and sealed all entry points, set traps, and cleaned it all up. Well worth it. read more

Gage came out to our home because I had a critter inside my wall by my workspace. The critter had disrupted some wiring and needed to be removed. Gage gave a reasonable estimate and came back to seal our home. He set traps and came back to collect them. Thanks Gage for the great service. You're professional, helpful and knowledgeable. You follow through and are reliable. We appreciate you. Steve and Dianne read more

I moved into a house and realized there were rodents in the walls the first night. I called Rats the next day. Gage came out and patched up all of the gaps and entry points (there were many) then set traps in the attic and garage. Within 2 days the rats were dead and no more noise in the walls. No poison used, only traps. Great job Gage, thanks read more

Gage was awesome. Easy to communicate. Easy to schedule. Great work. He sealed up entry points in the roof and deployed traps in the attic. A couple days later he came back to pick up the traps. No rodent activity since he sealed up the gaps! read more

In June, 2025, Gage did a great job finding and plugging up all of the openings around the house. Two days later, the traps had caught two huge rats under the house and another big one in the attic. He came and removed them. We have had no more rats (hooray!), but three months later, we found two tiny mice in the traps under the house. Gage responded quickly when I texted him about the mice and came over within a few days. He found a tiny opening with telltale rodent oil, plugged up the hole, and then set 4 traps and two glue traps under the house. I have a lot of confidence in Gage's ability to get rid of rodents and in his commitment to follow up if the problem is not completely solved the first time. Cost-wise, his charge of $950 was similar to other bids. read more

Called a couple places after finding rodent droppings after a home inspection. Gage was the quickest to respond, and came by later that same day! He thoroughly checked the attic and outdoor areas and pointed out places where mice could enter and where previous exclusion efforts were subpar. We learned late that the house was already under rodent control warranty by another company, but if we ever need services in the future, we will be contacting Gage again. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic overall. Gage responded to my initial outreach quickly and professionally. Arrived on time for a free inspection and estimate. Scheduled the work and completed all rodent proofing and trapping in one long visit. Gage then returned a few days later to clean up and to 'gather the bodies'. We haven't heard anything since! Gage was honest and open throughout and even lowered our initial quote as he felt some proofing wasn't needed in the end. No pushing into on-going service, very reasonable quotes and great, honest communication! 10/10 - Thank you! read more

Very professional business. We had a problem in our garage and he came over within 24hours to assess the problem. He is willing to work with your schedule and takes it seriously. We had 3 rats and they were getting into everything in the garage. He came back 4 additional times to make sure the rats were gone!! I was very impressed with the work he did. I would recommend Rats Rodent Control! read more

Gage was professional and reliable. I called on a Thursday, he came out on Friday to look at the situation, and sent an estimate by Saturday morning. His bid was very reasonable, and we would have worked with him if it weren't for my concern about having to remove the old, failing foam stuffing (from a previous exclusion project), which might risk damaging the structure material the hardened foam body is attached to. We're going with a roofer who can redo the affected area the way the builder should have done it in the first place. read more

I heard a noise in our attic so I called a local pest control for an evaluation. The pest control person verified I had rats in my attic because he saw rat tracks and droppings. Unfortunately he said he does not do sealing jobs unless it's something obvious he can see. So he referred me to another company that specializes in sealing holes in the attic/roof. The pest control guy would come out after the holes are sealed to trap the rats. After considering I decided I didn't want to deal with two separate companies. Then I saw Rats Rodent Control. I decided to let Gage handle the issue. Gage is professional, knowledgeable, on time and his price is reasonable. He was able to seal the holes and take care of the issue. I'm confident he will come out again to get rid of any rats that might find their way into my attic in the future. read more

Gage was awesome to work with. He came out within a few hours to take care of a "rat emergency." He gave me a reasonable quote for rodent exclusion and scheduled me quickly. He was a good communicator and I recommend this business wholeheartedly. read more

I want to highly recommend Gage. I have been having a problem with a rat for the last two weeks. He came to my house to inspect and told me he could find no openings where it had accessed my house. Three years ago I had paid $1600 to have all access points plugged, so I assumed there were no openings. He then suggested rat traps I could try. He charged me nothing. I am a senior citizen, and it is so refreshing to find someone like Gage who doesn't want to take advantage of an older person. I can't say enough about his work ethic and integrity. If I do have another problem, I would not hesitate to call Gage. read more

I had a car problem that sounded like the a/c fan was broken, took it to be serviced and was shocked to see their photos of a nest built by rats near the fan and glove box. Car is parked in garage most of time. I contacted 2 rodent control companies. I chose Gage at Rats Rodent Control after his thorough inspection. He is very knowledgable and answered all my questions. Before he left after free inspection he repaired a hole by garage door so no rodents could get in before he came back to repair areas on my roof, etc. It was a fair price and he did a great job. I recommend Gage and Rats Rodent Control for rodent proofing. read more

Appreciation post! Thank you to jason for taking the time to share tips and tricks to catch a field mouse that has been in my house the past few days. I had set out traps and bait for a week and nothing seemed to entice our mouse. I saw our mouse run under our oven and was determined not to let him out of my sight. I called jason and he took time to explain some tips, even though he had a busy day and could not come to my aid, he patiently explained what I could do to get mouse out. Within an hour I was able to draw out our mouse and trap him. The level of relief I had is indescribable! I was incredibly grateful. Many people/business these days will not take the time nor help you without signing up for a service or agreeing to a payment. It meant a lot that people are willing to help however they can without expecting anything in return. Again, thank you jason for being a helpful and kind! read more

I had squirrels that we're making their home inside our attic. I also had bats that were living inside one of the eaves of our window and creating a huge mess. Gage did an exceptional job taking care of both of these issues for us. He also made sure that any opening was screened in or covered so we would be rodent proof. He did find several openings. Overall, great job at a fair price. If you have any of these issues, I would highly recommend calling Rat's Rodent Control. read more

My experience with Gage and Rats Rodent Control was nothing short of phenominal! I was experiencing weird noises in my garage and gave Gage a quick call and within the next day he was at my house and took care of our rodent problem. We had a family of rats living in our garage and Gage made sure to get rid of them all as well as setting up new traps to ensure no more issues in the future. Very good communication and you can tell Gage values his business and his customers. 100% recommend! read more

Heard noises in the attic and one wall. Gage responded immediately and did a thorough inspection. He found all the entry points, plugged them, and set snap traps. So far, he has been out several times to remove dead rats and set new traps. Now things are quiet again. He is very responsive, thorough, and his prices are more than fair. I highly recommend Rats Rodent Control. read more

We had rats/mice entering the attic. It took 2 visits to find the definitive opening in an attic vent that others had missed. Gage screened it off and after a couple of weeks there are no more rodents. Highly recommended. read more

Gage is a person who takes his work seriously. We had issues where crawlspace and roof had opening for rodents to enter the house and the crawlspace. Gage provided a reasonable estimate, followed up on the work in time. When his approach didn't work, he re-did the work by himself and followed through until it was done as it should be. Certainly recommend for any protective work read more

Gage responded quickly after I contacted him after hearing scuttling noises in the attic AFTER we'd put on a new roof. He sealed every nook and cranny within the various eaves, solar attic fans, chimney, and the railroad trestle beam running across the top of my house/roof/ceiling. He followed up later to make sure we hadn't heard any more noises - nope! Gage told me to call if we had any other concerns. Highly recommend! read more

I had an electrician come out to do some work and while they were here they told me that when they were in the attic they heard scurrying and said I had rats. I immediately got on yelp and searched for rodent proofing. I've already gone through three different companies in the past for rodent proofing. Besides my current pest control company, I decided to also contact two additional companies for an estimate. All three companies agreed that I did not actually have a rat problem, thank goodness. Gage was the only one of the three to find some areas that needed fixing, so I only ended up getting his quote. I'd rather be safe than sorry, so I decided to accept his quote. The price was reasonable and he was able to come out and do the work quickly. I'd rather have too much rodent proofing than not enough, so I'm glad I did it. My regular pest control came out the following week to check the traps in the attic and they were all empty. Gage did offer to come out and check the traps the following week, but I already had the appointment scheduled with my regular company. I feel confident in the rodent proofing now. Thanks Gage! read more

Gage did a fantastic job identifying and sealing entry points for a fraction of the price I was quoted by another company. Fast service and good communication as well. Highly recommended!! read more

Saw a rat in my garage and panicked. Worried it might come into the house or die in the garage and stink. Hesitated to call Gage for one rat, but maybe there were more. He was nice enough for fit me in on a Sat, did an inspection and set two traps. No charge. Think that's unheard of. He says he offers a free initial inspection. Really nice guy and told me he didn't see any evidence of more rats. I'll definitely call him if I need more help. read more

I set up an appointment with Gage for an estimate to add screens to the new solar panels that I had installed a few weeks ago. He noticed that some of the existing solar panel screens were broken, something that the other companies didn't catch. We had issues with noises in the attic and between floors and in the garage. Rat noises. We made the mistake initially of having a Pest Control company attempt the work and they did no repairs to the house and then set out poison which caused a rat to come back in and die in the walls. :^( I then called Gage at Rats Rodent Control and had him come out for an estimate. I liked that he concentrated mainly on working on your home to make it inaccessible to rodents or any other creatures. He came out and scheduled the work to be done in a timely manner. That day he sealed up about 10 points of entry and then set a few traps in case there was something now trapped in the attic. Gage used no poisons and eliminated the problem by doing repairs to stop rats from entering the house in the first place and also at any time in the future. It has been almost a month and all is still quiet. read more

I have had a problem with rats nesting under my deck. I called Gage for an estimate to preform the exclusion work. He showed up on time and gave an estimate and talked me through the work. He proposed a solution to exclude them and also wouldn't be an eyesore. He could have put up some wire mesh and called it a day. Instead he proposed coming back and doing the better looking solution. When he returned he did a fantastic job paying attention to the details ensuring the exclusion work blended in and looked great. Overall I am very satisfied with the experience and work. read more
