I recently purchased a new/used car. I was excited to get this new/used baby on the road, and listen to some tune but when I reached over to plug in my iPod I couldn't locate the auxiliary port. Ok, where did they hide it? April Fools! No iPod jack. I asked around and was told since my car had navigation that installing a iPod kit would probably not be an option. I own a 1956 Chevy P/U and was looking for a shop to re-wire my whole truck. I got a referral from a guy at Brizio's Custom Car builders in So.City. Told me to call Ron at Rock n Roll. Talked to Ron and brought my truck in the next day. Ron took a look, I told him what I wanted done, we talked for about 1/2 hr and I felt I could trust him with my "baby". Brought my truck in on Jan 4,2010 and 3 weeks later my truck was done. I was grining from ear to ear. He also turned me onto a tire guy named Jimmy who put 4 new "shoes" on my truck which is sitting with just the right stance. I thought this guy only installed stereos and alarms...wrong. He's got connections for body guys and upholstery too. A wealth of info for someone looking to resto a classic. I am bringing my 1956 Ford p/u to Ron to install an original radio in and install a horn. That's how much I trust this guy with my "kids" Update... I brought my 1956 Ford p/u truck into Ron's to get an original radio installed and a horn. Ron got it done in under 2 hours. He had to drill a round hole into the dash for the radio and install 2 new horns under the hood and hook up the wiring. I just wanted the original radio for the looks so he didn't have to wire it. He told me about installing a kit to hook up my ipod into so i can play my tunes and use the ipod's fm radio . This will be my next project for Ron. read more

I had to write a review because this shop helped me out with great service at the right price. I had a cheap cd player that I needed installed in my old honda civic. My CD player was stolen so the last thing I wanted to do was pay to get the new one installed. I'm going to echo most if not all of the other reviewers here. I took my 2006 Jetta in for service at OnTrack (my regular mechanic) following a battery drain incident kinda scared me a little. Mike at OT checked everything and found that my car stereo (installed by BestBuy back in 2008) wasn't wired in correctly. I'm not a Car Person, but from the way Mike explained it the person who installed it piggybacked off another terminal instead of wiring it properly. He referred me to R&R. Well! Ron was absolutely terrific. He had a bunch of other jobs he was working on, but took time out to inspect and re-install/re-wire my deck. Only charged me $50 and was more than happy to accept my Visa card as payment. Yay! Ron doesn't really have a website per se, so I want to make sure to spread the word that the guy is awesome. My stereo works amazing, and no battery drainage issues. I don't believe he sells car audio, but he is more than happy to install it for ya. So yup, I'll probably be going to Best Buy to BUY my next deck but I'll be having Ron install it for me rather than the so called Geek Squad. I brought my 1969 GTO this place I wish I never did. First of all he does not have a sound room second of all he doesn't have any equipment there. You are going in blind and you're trusting this guy. I went to pick up my GTO he had the nerve to charge me $1000. He put a piece of crap little app on top of my stereo which he mounted under the dash. Two weeks later it fell out he just put some shit screws in to the plastic underneath my dash. He put two tiny speakers next to each other up inside my dash. I could only turn it up halfway and it will start to crackle sound like shit. The stereo will always default and only the rear speakers would work I can't even figure out how to make the front ones work the whole thing was a disaster ..Ended up putting a new stereo and a new front speakers and what a waste of money I should've demanded my money back but I'm not that kind of guy I would never ever ever go to this guy again read more

I've been needing to put in parking sensors into my girlfriend's car for about a month. I finally had some time to look into it and figure out what I want. I called Rock & Roll and talked to Ron while I was out of town and set up an appt for the following week. The sensors needed painting so he referred me to Dean's Auto Body across the street. Dean was busy but fit me in to paint the sensors and then coordinate with Ron to get them back to him. Dean was another great find but that's another review. I came back the next day and the painted sensors were installed and looked OEM. Perfect paint match by Dean and perfect installation by Ron. I forgot to get a quote for Ron's work before I left the car because we were talking on the phone so much. The service here is fast, professional and price is reasonable. But the most important fact about Rock and Roll is that Ron knows his stuff. I brought my car there to have a head unit and dash kit installed. Ron installed everything promptly and was able to troubleshoot and fixed the static noise that came from my stock amp very quickly. This place was so great. Ron is the man!!!! He installed an amazing stereo in my vehicle without cutting anything and you cannot see it at all. It's unbelievable! I was ready to buy "infinity" or any other high top brand, but he told me how to get bass and highs without spending a ton of money. I now have a super loud, super quality sounding stereo which cost $700.00 installed with an amp, subwoofer 12", custom box and tweeters. Heard about this place from a friend and was I ever glad! I showed up at a little after 9 a.m. to see if he would install a back up camera I'd purchased from Groupon. He took it right in and told me he'd have it done in 2 hrs. I returned in an hour and 15 minutes and he was pretty much through. He also stated if I had any problems to just bring it back. My car alarm fob was broken and needed to be replaced. After dealing with the manufacturer's very slow and dated website and getting the run around over the phone, I ended up giving Rock & Roll a call because it was local. Ron told me to swing by so he can check it out. Within 15 minutes, Ron managed to not only find me a replacement fob, but also sorted out the alarm wiring under the dash which could have caused problems. He knows his car alarms. We never discussed the pricing and he just charged a little over the cost of the replacement fob and I was happy with that. If I ever have problems with car alarm or car audio, I'm definitely going back to Ron to discuss options. read more

Amazing service! The owner is so friendly & helpful. I went in to get a quote for a new alarm- because my current alarm used to go off every single night for no reason. When I went in just to see prices and told him my issues, he looked at my car was was able to fix it right on the spot-NO chrage.
