Smooth installation. A few hiccups with the product that they navigated on my behalf. I was pleased with the results

First off, I want to say that Jerald is highly knowledgeable and a friendly professional installer. He hardwired my BlackVue Elite 10 dashcam with the 4G LTE Module and daisy-chained our Powercell 8 and Cellink Neo, so no power is drawn from my vehicle. Everything was routed cleanly and in stealth mode. Dan and Jerald were very patient and answered all my questions and I learned a lot from them as well. They also made recommendations with what to initially purchase, which I thought was helpful. There was some troubleshooting in the process of having everything work as intended, but overall we are very satisfied with the service and custom setup.100% recommend them and I don't normally like leaving reviews, but Dan runs a fantastic business and what can I say, he left me no choice but to do so. Glad I found you guys! Take care! read more

Communication with Daniel was quick and efficient both on the phone and by email. My installation with Jerald had a few hiccups due to a faulty camera, and some flashing dashboard lights, but he came back soon after the new material arrived and helped clear the codes. He also came back a third time to help me replace a marker light for me on his own time. He was super helpful and I appreciate my interactions with him and OE plus. I'd recommend their services. Thanks a lot! read more

I want to give a big thank you to Jerald and Daniel. They helped me with three of my cars and did an amazing job on all of them. They upgraded my 2013 Lexus ES350 with a new stereo and Apple CarPlay. They also worked on my 2015 Toyota Sienna and installed the DVD player, Pioneer car play, and subwoofer, making sure everything worked smoothly. On my 2018 Lexus RX350, they installed a Kicker 10-inch subwoofer that sounds great. They spent almost three days working carefully on the cars. Their communication was clear, they were professional, patient, and they paid attention to details. Even when there were small adjustments needed that were not their fault, they still helped me fix everything with no complaint. My sound systems now make driving and road trips so much more enjoyable. I really appreciate their hard work and the quality of service they provided. I highly recommend Gerald and Daniel if you are looking for car audio installation or upgrades. Thank you both again for the great work. read more

Thank you OE plus for a flawless head unit install for my 2014 FJ Cruiser! The whole process from set-up to install was seamless, with fast and friendly communication. Super convenient with them being a mobile company, coming to you along with a reasonable price. If you are looking for audio installation, look no further! I was able to reach out via Yelp and Nelson did his own research about the aftermarket head unit I purchased to confirm they can do the install, which was very helpful. We were able to set-up an appointment within the same week. The technician, Jerold, arrived within the proposed time range and asked for my priorities for the install. Once completed, he reviewed the features with me and showed me how it was programmed to my steering wheel controls. Kudos to him as he was very kind, personable, and professional. He was not only an expert, but you can tell he enjoys what he does. Will definitely reach out to them for any future car audio needs! read more

Had Jerald from OE Plus install a new stero in my vehicle. Outstanding service all around, and Jerald did an excellent job.

Scheduled my appointment with Jerald to help install a dash and rear cam on my Mazda. Jerald did a great job with the installation. I followed up with him the following day when an alert popped up on my car's app about the air bag. Jerald came back to double check his work. He followed up a week later to ensure no other alerts came. I did inform him that the plastic molding around my rear view mirror (we used a dongar to tap into the moonroof to power the cameras) was pulling apart. He came back again the following day and added some double sided tape and checked that all the clips were latched. I am very happy with the service I received from OE plus and Jerald. read more

We needed an install of an OEM deck in our Toyota Prius and reached out to OE Plus and so glad we did. Danny was the first point of contact and was very prompt with responding and understanding our needs and quoting a very reasonable price especially considering the bonus that they offer mobile service and the great convenience of not having to drop off and wait for the vehicle. On install day, Jerald came out on time, and quickly replaced the deck - his work was efficient, clean, and he proceeded to take the time to patiently walk us through testing the unit and how to configure blutooth. His service was fantastic, friendly, and can tell he is a genuinely nice guy. Thank you Jerald, thank you Danny, you guys rock. Great communication, gear recommendations, and install. Head unit upgrade, sub addition, and dash cam install for a ten year old Highlander facelift. Amazon was unexpectedly late delivering a part but they worked around it with existing stock, and just swapped boxes with us when Amazon finally delivered it toward the end of the install. Super easy and appreciated the flexibility & great service. read more

I was interested in upgrading my stereo system for my Lexus 250h UX. Spoke with Dan and he suggested adding a subwoofer to enhance the factory stereo system. He sent me links to order the necessary component and accessories for the installation. Once everything arrived, Dan and Jerold arrived on time to perform the whole installation. I was very pleased with the installation and the sound quality. The installation rate is reasonable. Thank you both for the attentive service. read more

I have an older car I wanted to refresh with a backup camera and a new head unit with Apple Play. Nelson was responsive, sent me a list of appropriate head units, and then sent Amazon links of all the parts I needed for the install so I could purchase them ahead of time. Nelson and his partner showed up right on schedule and completed the install in no time. Everything works perfectly and I couldn't be happier. It feels like I have a new car! I'm updating my review because of some things I found on my subwoofer installation. My stereo quit working a week ago with absolutely no sound. I decided to take a look to see if I can figure out what happened. The work that Daniel did didn't cause the problem, but while I was tracing wires down and troubleshooting, I found that these guys tapped into the factory JBL amp my skinning the insulation off the factory wires, wrapping the new wires to be connected around the newly exposed conductors, wrap them with electrical tape and then put a tie wrap around each one. W.T. F.???? This isn't a $300 install. I could have had a kid at the local Best Buy car audio install shop do a better job. How about a proper wire tap? How about using a soldering iron to drop a bead of solder on the connection? How about a proper butt connector?!?! Do you guys do all your installs the same way? Amazing that no one's complained! I've attached some pictures so fellow Yelpers can see for themselves. read more

Danny is a professional. I got a new car in June and purchased a dual dash cam off Amazon. I'm smart but not smart enough to hardwire and install it myself. He was at my place at the scheduled time and installed everything in like an hour and walked me through it all too. All the wires are neatly hidden away, everything is reversible, and he helped me get all the settings right. Pricing was clear when I contacted him and was the same price when it was all said and done. I appreciate the transparency. Would recommend again and again and again! read more

Getting a response from them via phone, email, or yelp messaging is like pulling teeth. Took a week and a half to get pricing and availability. Was looking to get a new AVIN Avant 4 head unit installed on my E53 X5 and they quoted $500-$650 for an install with a week and a half until they can get me in for a mobile visit... that's high for SF even and a really long wait time. Second highest price I saw after reaching out to 6 other places with similarly high ratings was $300. Plus they told me that the radio I bought might not work properly even though it's a plug and play unit made for my car with VIN level specificity. No thanks. read more

After 3 yrs of service the reverse-view camera that OE Plus had installed in my Econoline van went out. As I live in the foggy Sunset I suspected corrosion, not hardware. Dan was kind enough to come out and inspect. Lo and behold: rust was found in the ground circuit. After 20 mins my camera was back in operation! Thanks to Dan, for his scientific method, professionalism and kindness for covering the follow-up repair n/c. read more

Daniel was prompt, courteous, friendly and knew what he was doing, Would Recommend! He came to my place on a Sunday and replaced both of my wifes side mirrors on her car which I had found on Ebay... Daniel was prompt in responding to me when I was looking for someone to install a back camera in my mini cooper. He sent me a list of options what to order, including a new car radio that has ApplePlay installed. And then he showed up with his colleague and installed it without any problems, as quoted over email. Installing a new AV system + back camera is very complex for that specific Mini Cooper Convertible model, it required taking out a lot of parts, replacing the console with a new one, new wiring from front to back etc (I never could have done it myself), and his team did a great job. I'm very happy with his professionalism. read more
