I recently brought my 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 to Beyond Street Performance to upgrade the stereo/head unit and also had him check/run a diagnostic because of the error messages l had on the dashboard, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Chris was incredibly friendly, professional, and super communicative throughout the whole process -- especially via text, which made everything so much easier. Originally, we tried installing the recommended harness, but given the age of the car, it didn't work out. No problem -- Chris went above and beyond, rewiring the entire system and bypassing the old amplifier. It wasn't a simple task by any means, and although the final cost was about double the original quote, I understand why -- the extra work was substantial and totally worth it. Fortunately, I was able to return the harness, which helped a bit too. Chris also removed the CD changer from the glove compartment, which now makes that space usable again -- small detail, but a big win for functionality! Feel really lucky to have found and worked with Beyond Street Performance on a Car Stereo install. I had sourced the equipment myself and they were happy to do the install. Unfortunately, the backup camera was damaged in shipping, but they happily sold me one of theirs in stock. Then the feed from the camera was intermittent, and they insisted on replacing all the wiring for it in the car (front to back) for free, to make sure the problem was solved. Chris is very knowledgeable, capable, professional and trustworthy. He did an excellent job on troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems in my car. Thieves stole the car and after I recovered it, I discovered my instrument cluster panel and air conditioning weren't working properly along with some other issues. Chris inspected my car, determined that some fuses were shorted and other electrical issues, and he fixed my car right up. He also installed a kill switch for me and hardwired a dash cam. I had Chris swap out my stock rims and TPMS sensors with aftermarket ones on my Mazda 3 and he did so without any hiccups all while chatting. He made sure both my stock and aftermarket rims were unscratched while swapping out the tires, balancing, and mounting. The pricing was also reasonable comparing to other wheel shops I've looked around. It may not be the cheapest, but I've had my lugs/rims scratched from mainstream tire shops in the past, and Chris is unquestionably more careful with your stuff.
