I pull up and they immediately took care of me and my car. They made it clear what could be the cost (try for a patch, otherwise a new tire), and timing. They asked what kind of tire I wanted as a replacement. All reasonably priced. Top it off: Everyone was friendly all the way through. I was in and out in 25 minutes. I will definitely be going there again. read more

We recently had a flat tire and got it replaced at Moe's Tires. The staff was friendly and helpful. One important thing to be aware of is that RoadX tires are the only kind they keep in stock - all other tires have to ordered for you. Since the other 3 of our tires were Goodyear brand, we wanted to stick with the same brand for our replacement - Moe's ordered a Goodyear tire for us on a Sunday evening, and received it by Monday morning - we then went back in for them to install it. We had a positive experience overall. Some quick price benchmarking indicated their pricing was in line with the market. read more

Highly recommend! I had a nail in my tire and spent less than 15 minutes total at Moe's getting it repaired. Fair price (as quoted), super friendly service, and he even put air in my non-damaged tires at no extra cost. read more

I came in to replace my two front tires yesterday and was told by Johnny that they didn't have my current brand, Bridgestone, in stock and that it would need to be ordered. Since I was already there, I went ahead with the tires they had available. About 20 minutes after leaving, I told my husband what happened and he said I should have waited to get the same set of Bridgestone tires. I had no idea, since I'm not knowledgeable about tires. I immediately called Johnny back and asked if I could speak to a manager to see if they could make an exception since I had just left the shop. He told me that once the tires leave the shop, they are considered used--even though they sell used tires--and that the only option would be to purchase a new set. That would have cost me about $700 more, on top of the $300 I had already spent, totaling around $1,000. I was disappointed they couldn't make any adjustment, especially since no guidance or recommendations were provided upfront--Johnny only mentioned that Bridgestone wasn't in stock. These options weren't discussed when I called the day before either. As a customer, I relied on their expertise, and I feel important information that could have helped me make a better decision was missing. Because of that, the overall experience was disappointing, especially after my husband had left a good review. read more

Best tire shop in SF. Reasonable prices and professional associates. Thank you ALL for the 15 minute turn around on my freeway blowout! You guys have done better work than any tire shop I've been thru period. Absolutely without a doubt! I was referred to Moe's from a friend and now I won't go anywhere else. Thank you!! read more

I'll admit I was a little skeptical when I had to double park in the mission and patiently wait while they were figuring out a maze inside the shop, however, they were able to see my car within about 20 minutes and had my tire patched within an hour. They also gave me a much more honest recommendation on when to replace my set of tires and let me know that I still had some time left on them. I'll be back when I do! read more

Incredibly easy, fast, awesome service. Half hour, super affordable. Great advice re: tire maintenance overall!

The staff is very helpful and courteous. They are open every day! They spoke to me in Spanish, made me feel comfortable. They are efficient and 1/2 hour later, you are back on the road. These dudes are good. read more

Fixed my tire leak with a patch. No appointment in and out in under 30 minutes. Clean shop good waiting room with a TV

Got a nail in my tire recently. Didn't go flat, but needed to deal with it asap. Came in when they opened the next morning and they offered to patch it for a really good price. They decided it was too close to the sidewall to patch (that was my initial thought too so I wasn't surprised they changed their mind). Got both back tires replaced (my choice, they were going to just do one) and was done all within 45min, including me wavering away for baklava next door. Staff was all super friendly, efficient and no pressure at all to upsell anything. read more

Our tire deflated, and we didn't know why! We arrived to Moe's Tires and they found out we had not only one, but two nails in two different wheels! They welcomed us into their lounge and me and my cousins had a blast playing foosball and had many activities to do while waiting. They were very quick and very nice. 10/10 service. read more

Moe's Tires - New tires installed - Tires Near Me - San Francisco, California

I picked up a flat in town and changed to the spare myself and drove it in at 4:00 on the day after Christmas. They fixed it for $45 in under an hour and rotated the tires (front to back on both sides) for free. The waiting room has wi-fi and a TV and is comfortable enough. I also bought a used tire from them some years back and never had a problem with it. read more

Tire service itself was quick and fast. Cheapest service I could find on Yelp. However, they make you wait in line outside blocking the bus stop. I ended up getting a ticket due to blocking the bus stop, so they need to manage this better. What was supposed to be a $40 tire change ended up costing me $150. Have a better system for your queue. read more

These guys are seriously amazing. It felt like I was in and out of there with my punctured tire in less than 15 minutes. I didn't even have time to take a photo of the very cool, colorful, and artsy bench made of tires in the waiting. It cost just $35, and everyone there was so nice. So I did not just fall off the turnip truck, I've been in more than one situation where I was probably seen as an easy mark and told I needed to buy a full set of new tires, and sold a me a single one when I balked. I once said I would dispose of the old tire, myself, and brought it to another tire shop for kicks and giggles, where I learned it most definitely could have been patched. I was very appreciative of the honesty at Moe's. The waiting area is comfortable and has free Wi-Fi, though as I mentioned before, I wouldn't have had much time to use it. Highly recommended! read more

Called back in april for 2 used tires for my 09 camry. Women picked up when i called, then was handed off to an older gentleman who said at the moment dont have my size tire but give him my name and number and he will let me know when he gets more in a few days. Todays almost end of August and not a call back or anything. Ive left yelp messages and just an all around horrible customer service. And to say ive been here for many years and to be treated this poorly is unacceptable. read more

Definitely returning for all my tire needs! Service was great. Didn't feel like they were trying to squeeze money out of me. And they were kind enough to offer me a discount. Their warranty is worth it in the long run if you're like me and live in the city where there is always nails in the street from constant construction happening. Covers 2 years of repairs and tire replacement. But here's what you're really looking for... Grand total for my 2015 Scion XB: $400 = 4 New Tires $48 = Warranty (12% x cost of tire x 4 tires) $120 Alignment ($150 - 20% off coupon) $0 Tire Air valve freebie ($25 regularly??) Total = $568 I've easily spent $800 for the same services in the past. read more

I was quoted $100 flat including all fees for a full synthetic oil change for my 2011 VW Jetta via Yelp and also over the phone which was cheaper than other SF/South Bay shops, including some big chain brands. Most shops are closed on Sundays, but not this one! Note that their other two locations are closed on Sundays though. I came on a Sunday and there was no wait. The shop is large for SF standards and conveniently located on Mission Street. As soon as I pulled in, someone came to direct me to where to park. I handed over the keys, then was greeted with someone else with an iPad to fill out my first-time customer info. They have a nice, neat, spacious waiting area with guest WiFi, fresh drip coffee, disposable cups, water dispenser, small fan, small space heater, a TV, DVD's, books, and magazines. The shop is a vibe. Music was bumping and guys were wearing "I *heart* Moe's" hoodies haha. So different from other quiet, drab shops I've been to. The service took 40-45 minutes total. Not the fastest but not bad. Docked a star because 1) slow/unresponsive via Yelp (it's best to call directly), 2) customer service was ok (they're curt and to-the-point), 3) they didn't seem confident when answering a question about my engine oil. I'm sure they're experts on tires, but maybe not other auto issues. Overall, I still recommend this spot for a routine oil change! read more

Man what can I say. Sunday night at 6:00 PM my car tells me my tire pressure is extremely low and decreasing fast. (Stupid Nail) I give them a call and they tell me to bring it in. After a nerve racking 20 minute drive from the Sunset to the shop I arrived on 9 psi in the back tire and tilting drastically. Literally 15 minutes later I was driving out the door back to normal. I had already made amends that the bill was going to be big and then as I went to pull out my credit card I was really shocked. A fricking low ass price that left me money for the Kick ass BBQ across the street. What a save of the weekend. No more driving to San Bruno for me anymore they have a new customer! Can't thank you guys enough for saving what could've been a shitty end to a weekend! read more

I had some unexpected bad luck getting my tires slashed by SFMTA truck. I needed tires, and I need them fast. For the record, I am particular about my rubber, and I don't want just any tire. I called Ali at Moe's Tires, and he was very clear and helpful. They were transparent about pricing and availability. They took care of me as quickly as possible (given they did not stock my tires). I was in and out of there the same day with 4 new Michelins, and very happy. If you are looking for quality rubber in South SF, I highly recommend Moe's. Ali is the man to talk to.
