Came here for an oil change it was two days pass since it pop up on the car front well. They are good people got the job done and they had a fish tank and a FF sword on top of their shelf. Just be careful when reversing out a busy street. read more

They do not offer mobile tire repair service even though their page says they do. They also don't have the capability of patching a 35" tire inside shop so just be aware they are pretty limited on what they actually do opposed to what they're profile says they do. read more

Came in for an oil change. Arrived at 9:40am on a weekday and there was one car ahead of me so the entire experience was about an hour (waiting for one car and then doing my oil change). Just under $80 all inclusive. After the oil change, the mechanics informed me about a couple other things they recommend I address with my car. They provided me with quotes for visibility but didn't pressure me to complete the services which I appreciated I.e on was a filter change which I can do in my own. Through multiple visits with this mechanic, I've always trusted them to be authentic and I really appreciate their sincerity. read more

Called toward the end of the day and was surprised at how quickly the staff answered the phone. The person I spoke with was super responsive, helpful, and didn't hesitate to take me in--asked me to come by right away. When I arrived, they were polite and got the service done quickly. They did a great job on my car for a very reasonable price. One of the biggest things that stood out to me is how HONEST the staff are, which is so important when it comes to finding a reliable and trustworthy auto shop. My sister has been coming here for years and they've never let her down. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be coming back myself! read more

Don't judge a book by its cover-this site is legitimate! They have been taking care of my families car for 35+ years! The previous owner Randy & his father created so many local relationships and John, the new owner continues to nurture those to this day! They always assess your car fairly and do quality work. John educated me on my car, allowed me to do research and ended up leaving my car for service @ Bayshore Auto bc it was indeed the better deal with quality replacement parts. Thank you Bayshore Auto for being a place the Visitacion Valley Community can trust! read more

Bayshore Auto - Store front - Auto Repair Near Me - San Francisco, California

Great honest work and will go back. It was a last min booking and John took me in. Fixed it same day.

I found this place on yelp looking for a spot near work to patch my tire, stupid nail. The parking is not too great but since it was still morning they were not busy. Only hand to drive around the block once because Muni's bus stop was right there and they had a quick delivery. Once I parked they quickly removed my tire, pulled out the nail and bolted my tire back on and graciously checked the pressure on all my tires. Thankfully the nail didn't puncture through my tire and didn't have to pay a thing. Thank you guys for your quick service and human kindness. I would definitely recommend for a quick tire repair. read more

Needed an oil change and some troubleshooting in preparation for a smog check. Spoke to John at Bayshore Auto. My truck is a 2003 so it needed some things. I take very good care of it but things do wear out. John found those things and fixed them. Very professional, knowledgeable, personable and efficient. He told me all that he found and how much it would cost before he proceeded. I highly recommend. read more

John, James, and the rest of the guys at Bayshore Auto are godsends! I've gushed about their honesty, efficiency, and how they go the extra mile, for their customers, before- but the other day, I needed a headlight, and the guys had me outta there in 5 minutes! Bayshore Auto is the best, and makes me forget, who I even went to before I discovered this gem. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a repair shop, and go see them, to get your car serviced. read more

I called in 10 am, Bayshore Auto quoted me and had my parts in stock. I was able to tow my vehicle the same day. I went with Bayshore as they are a local business, very friendly and helpful, with what seemed to be fair pricing for my particular service. Standard oil change with filter, new brakes and rotors, and of course labor. The vehicle was actually ready the same day, however I missed the call. read more

I'm very grateful to have an auto mechanic that exists in a small neighborhood of Visitacion Valley. I brought my Audi here during the time when Randy was the owner and Winnie was still in charge in ordering the parts. I first brought my car here when I had a problem with my spark plugs. Since then, I've been bringing my car here until today. John, the new owner, has taken charge of this place. The services and the quality of labor is still the same. John and Randy are always fair and realistic when it comes to the prices of their labor and car parts. I always bring my car here everytime I get my oil change. To anyone who is planning to bring their cars for a repair, I strongly recommend Bayshore Auto. They also have an expertise in fixing European cars. read more

Got there with a flat tire, within a few minutes they saw me, fixed it, didn't try to upsell anything and it wasn't expensive. Highly recommended. read more

It's hard to find a good and trusting mechanic shop. Bayshore Auto is the place for all my car troubles. Randy is so thorough and give great resources if he can't help you. He is very helpful and answer all my silly questions. And his prices is reasonable. That is reason why he always so busy. I always call ahead before taking my car in. There is 2 seat waiting area. Every staff wears a mask and I see that they spray their delivery package before opening. Friendly staffs and office manager is so nice. She is organized and efficient. Thank you Randy and staffs. read more

Update: have brought several cars here for various maintenance matters. Price is always fair, service is fast and timely, convenient location, what's not to love? Randy and his team does a great job. A nail has been in my run flat tires for a couple months now. Been too lazy to get it fixed, and definitely too broke to get it replaced (especially when they're brand new tires). Anyways, it has gotten to the point where my weekly air fill ups have become a daily thing, and this morning when I started the car the pressure was ridiculously low. I'm all for risking it, but not like that. Anyways, found this place on yelp and decided to drop by. Fast, efficient, friendly, and economical. $18 bucks to plug the hole, in and out in 20 minutes...I'm talking about the tire. Had I known it'd be this easy I would've gotten it done sooner. read more

I just moved to the area and needed some maintenance work on my car. Had an excellent experience getting an oil change and replacing my breaks here. Randy & Winnie were patient, highly competent, and explained my options the way I hope for when I'm in an autoshop. The prices were very reasonable (I called around and they were among the least expensive in some cases by far). I'm glad to have found a new auto place! read more

I have been going to this shop whenever I needed tire work such as installing a new tire or removing a tire from a rim. They usually do the work right away while I'm there. I went by today to find the place all locked up at 10 am. There are still cars on the premises but nobody was around. I think they might have closed. I spoke to someone on the phone today. The business is under new management and open for business. read more

Excellent communication, competitive pricing, and, above all, SUPERB customer service! I don't usually write reviews for this type of stuff as I feel good customer service SHOULD be a given but, John, the owner of Bayshore Auto went above and beyond to replace my unrepairable flat tire efficiently. His crew, James and Kai, were friendly and got me in and out within 15 minutes in a new tire! Thank you. I'll be bringing my car back when it needs service! read more

Awesome service. They were able to fit me in for an oil change last minute. The mechanic also found several issues that my last mechanic had not. They didn't pressure me at all into getting those things done, but I made an appointment with them because I feel I can really trust them. The prices are very reasonable and they are super efficient! Most other places make you wait all day and you're stuck without a car, but I just waited there and it was done in 30 minutes. They said my next service there would only take about 45 min. Overall, great service, efficient, and the mechanic is very thorough and knowledgeable. It can be hard to find a good mechanic, especially in the city, so I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Good, honest people. Will be returning! read more

My tire lights when on while I was driving which is a sure sign I got a nail or screw in my tire. I called a few places and these guys charge a fair price and seems to be on point: they told me to come an hour or two later and they would be able to spend time with me appropriately then. I drive in and there are four guys working in the little shop, they seem professional and efficient. I waited a few minutes as they finish the previous customers vehicle and they checked my tire, pulled out the offending nail and I was good to go in 10 minutes!
