I was literally a damsel in distress the other day! I ran over what we later discovered was a wheel weight that punctured a massive hole in my tire. Air was gushing out fast, and thankfully Cesar's Tires was only about three minutes from where I had pulled off the freeway. Even though they were closed for inventory, two of the guys stopped what they were doing and came to my rescue. They figured out a way to repair the tire and saved me from having to replace brand-new tires that were literally only two weeks old. To make it even more impressive, it was nearly 100 degrees outside and they were working on scorching hot concrete to help me. And after all of that, the cost was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the time and effort they put into getting me safely back on the road. They were so kind, helpful and genuinely went above and beyond when they absolutely didn't have to. I truly, truly appreciate what they did for me. Will never do business with this shop again. Never have I had this happen to me. Here's my story: I needed to have my brakes and rotors replaced, so I called a couple of shops, and this place was one of them. I called and got a reasonable quote, and I even called again and spoke with a different rep to confirm the price. Everything was going smoothly until this morning. I arrived right on time, and after 15 minutes or so, I was told that they had given me the incorrect quote and needed to adjust the price. I listened to what they had to say and left. I drove from Pittsburg to Sausolito then to San Francisco. I started hearing a squealing almost sounded like a wheel bearing. I brought my truck to the shop.. The mechanic took off my wheels brakes and tested everything multiple times. Then had a coworker drive the truck then he walked behind it and figured out the tail gate has an anti theft lock that was stuck between the tailgate and fender that was squeaking. Ugh thank God! I paid and tipped the mechanic $20 glad to spend $60. Best service with the amount of business they get in 1 hour. About 8 cars came got fixed then left. This is the best tire service, oh they also were trying to straighten a bent rim while I was there. I think the guy who owned the rim was just a terrible driver and they couldn't fix how bad he bent the rim. Lol no worries they had a set that fit his car. So awesome. read more

Last week (August 27th), my husband took his truck in. He was quoted over $1100 for the work and parts; the parts are expected to arrive on Monday. Fast forward to Monday... we dropped his truck off at 9:27 am. We didn't get any updates throughout the day. My husband called (before 5 pm) and he was told that they are short-staffed and they didn't get to his truck. They had it all day and not only did they do nothing, but they didn't bother to update us either. Horrible communication, poor business work ethic. Today is Tuesday. It's 7:15 pm and we called again for the second update for today, and guess what? It's still not ready. We aren't getting our truck back today. Jonathan said tomorrow around 9:30 we can pick it This is ludicrious. Today is Wednesday, Jonathan assured me (last night) that the vehicle would be ready "knocked out" by 9:30. It's 10:00. He just called and said he needs another 30 minutes. Update: it's 12:26 (2.5 hours later) and it's still not ready. Jonathon and his team can't keep their wordThe staff/manager did not have the decency or respect to call us and tell us he was short-staffed on Monday/until we requested an update. NOR did he offer a discount due to the incredibly long wait (over 50 hours) to receive our vehicle. They didn't fix the incessant noise that was squeaking either. How could you have it for so long and not fix everything? I guess it doesn't matter that we have jobs or kids or errands to run. Cesar's tires doesn't care, they just want your money. Did good alignment and balancing on our MZ CX5. Time taken was high, more than expected, but we are happy.

I was looking for a shop to replace a dead TPMS sensor and to perform an alignment. I gave Cesar's Tires a call for a quote and they were very upfront with the pricing and even let me know the time to best accommodate me. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a worker who didn't speak much English, but he was able to communicate with me using an interpreter on the phone and knew exactly what I needed and got to work. I was anticipating to replace all 4 TPMS sensors on my wheels, but I was told not necessary and to just come back should the other ones go bad, as they had a tool to check which sensor is bad. The alignment job was good and done up to specifications, for some reason they did a better job than a popular tire shop I went to in the past in SF. They do everything fast but don't always get it right. So double check their work. I had a simple oil change here then a long drive immediately after, but my engine's cap was not screwed back on tightly, it popped off mid highway and for about 40 minutes I was exposed to potentially a catastrophic disaster. Surprisingly inexpensive compared to the Dealer and other local Mechanic Shops! Car now runs like NEW! Coming from an Italian family in the '50s where my father & uncles routinely did Valve Jobs et al on our Chevies, I was intrigued by observing the work of Cesar's Crew.... professional, engaging, well trained, energetic, very focused, and educational to see a Team perform so efficiently so quickly. Quality was good, unfortunately after they installed the new TPMS, they could not program it. They didn't charge me for that. Price was very competitive at $40/tire. Most charge $200 for all 4. Warning to Potential Customers: BE CAREFUL AT THIS SHOP!! I recently had a terrible experience at Cesar's tires. The day before, I had new wheels and used tires installed at America's Tire. The next morning, one of my tires started leaking, so I went to Caesar's to have them swap the tires from my previous wheels onto my new ones. I brought in a complete set of mounted wheels and tires and asked if they could make the swap. They said yes. However, instead of starting by fixing the rear tire with the leak, they removed my front wheels and tires first. Then, they began removing all the tires from my old wheels. After removing the first tire, I noticed they had already damaged my rims. I asked them to be careful, and they assured me they would. But after removing all four tires from my previous wheels, I realized they had dented and damaged my rims even further. To make matters worse, they also damaged one of my new 18x12 wheels! When I confronted them, they claimed the tires were too big for their machine. But why didn't they just say that in the beginning before ruining my wheels? They were using a metal crowbar, scraping and denting not only my old rims but also my new ones. As well as ripped into my tires. I suggested to at least use a rag or some sort of buffer. I told them I didn't want all my wheels destroyed, including the new ones. In response, they called their boss, who quickly instructed them to put up a sign stating they weren't responsible for any damage. They mounted only the front wheels and never fixed the punctured one. I had to ask them to at least fill my punctured tire with air before I left. Somehow, I'm the bad guy, and they were upset with me when they damaged my property and didn't want to take any responsibility. To make matters worse, after they removed all my tires from the wheels i brought in, I was left with no spare to use and a flat tire. When I got home, I realized they had ripped off one of the sensors from my old wheels. They also lost two lug nuts. They tried to claim I came in with only four lugs, but I had seen six on the ground. I insisted I needed six lugs before driving off. I had just gotten my wheels installed at America's Tire the day before, and there's no way after their final point inspection they would let me leave with an 18x12 on 35-inch tires with only four lugs! They take jobs they cant handle to just make a quick buck and when they can't pull it off you're left with the bill. The incompetence at this shop is unbelievable. They have poor work ethic and dont give a damn about damaging your property. Instead of stopping when they see something isn't working, they will continue and then tell you that's the way it is. This isn't the first issue I've had with them. During a previous visit for a simple tire rotation, they stripped a lug, and I was forced to have them replace it. If you care about your vehicle, take it somewhere else! You've been warned. I've attached some pics, 1 of how my wheels looked when they arrived(no curb rash or blemish) and how they marred them to hell, with a metal crowbar and their machine. Gave Cesar's a call, $35 to do a straightforward tire patch on my CRV. We got there, Bryan helped us out - they were fast, confident and efficient. In and out, no wait. I googled around and found Cesar's Tires open and they said they could plug the flat today. Drove up there and they were busy but got me in within 5 minutes and I drove off with a fixed tire less than 30 minutes for only $35. Did I mention it was Sunday?!
