Super appreciate the thoughtfulness of minimizing the spread of germs in the midst of COVID-19. Thanks for protecting the steering wheel!

I wanted to wait a week or two to write this review to see how the I would like the radio Oscar installed and I'm happy to report that it's awesome! Just so you know what I was working with, I have an older 1996 GMC Savana Van with the driver side key lock missing, a broken radio and no visibility to the back of the van since the back windows are blacked out. I was hoping to get a car alarm system so I can unlock the van without a key and upgrade my radio with a screen so I can see a back up cam view. Mind you, I got quotes from 3 other vendors, all which were way over the price Oscar quoted me. He was also the most professional and direct with what he could offer. Before I went to his shop I spent almost an hour somewhere else where they were calling all their contacts to see if they had radios available since they didn't have any on hand. It was quite frustrating as I felt like it was a waste of time but with Oscar, I drove in, he showed me what he had available, how long it would take him to do, and how soon he could squeeze me in. Sold on the price and his professionalism, I got the soonest appointment available and was super excited that my van would upgraded that same week. He was able to install a new radio, back up cam and car alarm system for less than the others that quoted for just the radio and installation alone. Not only was he cheaper than everyone I spoke with but he got everything done in less than 24 hours, quicker than what he had promised me and the install is really clean. I'm so happy with his work that I would highly recommend Oscar to anyone who is looking to get audio/car alarm/back up cam work done as I've experienced getting it all from here. I'm planning on having him check up on the van to see if any mechanical work needs to be done to get the van to TX for a long drive and will review that type of work separately. Hope this helps!

I bought a car and the previous owner did a ghetto subwoofer install which took away the stock sound system. I stopped by here to get a reasonable quote and was able to drop off the car next day to get it worked on. Took a few hours and I was finally able to hear the stock sound system! Thanks to the owner Oscar for the help.

First and foremost, there isn't a more honest auto mechanic on the planet, with regard to pricing, with regard to diagnosing the problem, and with regard to how long the repair will take. Every time. Full stop. He's reliable. His expertise is extraordinary. He's on time. He would never ever overcharge or pad the bill. I'm a woman alone, and I cannot tell you how many times he's literally rescued me, so much so, that I feel absolutely blessed that he's my mechanic. Seriously.

This is a more accurate account of what happened:…read more I came to this shop because my air conditioning on my van stopped working and I wanted to see what the problem was and how much it would be to fix it. This business had great reviews on yelp and google so I wanted to try it out. And I wanted to see if this was a shop I could regularly come to as I recently moved close-by. I walked in and after roaming around to find someone, I started speaking with an employee who said the owner Mike was not in. He said in order to inspect the air conditioning, it would be at least $200 which is also their price for an oil change. So I should just get an oil change and they would do many things including looking into the air conditioning. He didn't say it was a full air conditioning check. Yet he said they could let me know what the problem might be and he would note it. I didn't really need an oil change. I don't think I was even half way there. I decided to try it out and see how this place was. The owner Mike called me back multiple hours later letting me know my car was done. I asked him about the air conditioning and he said he didn't even look into the air conditioning and that I came for an oil change. He said it would be $240 to look into what the problem was with the air conditioning. He said that was just to inspect it though and no guarantee of fixing anything. I was irritated and he then told me I was a cheap person. We were on speaker phone in the car with my girlfriend and her friend who both said they didn't like this guy, were not comfortable with him, that he didn't know how to talk to people, the way he spoke was not professional, and that I shouldn't work with him, because there are other mechanics I could go to that were good. Ultimately I decided to go pick up my car. It was a very awkward conversation with the owner in his little office room. I went to pay and I wasn't very comfortable paying, because this is not what I came there for. I decided to pay uncomfortably and observed the way the owner Mike was and he seemed pretty arrogant and with an attitude after done of 'here are your keys. Go walk over to your car and get it yourself.' I was trying to get input on what he saw in the car on his service as well and he casually mentioned multiple things he saw and didn't seem interested in explaining much at all. Really weird experience here especially contrasting to the other good reviews for this business. I guess he goes above and beyond for other customers. Wasn't the case with me.

They were extremely honest and advised that the car was in great condition. The brake rotors will eventually need to be refinished due to slight warping, but it was nothing pressing. All that was needed was an oil change and fluid top offs, which they took care of at a very reasonable price. I brought the car in again recently for an oil change. Quick and easy and inexpensive service. Although I've only used their services twice, I opine they are quite trustworthy.

The deets: I have a 1999 NB Mazda Miata with a rebuilt engine, but your mileage may vary. Let me start off this review by saying, good "Mom and Pop" mechanics and support staff are hard to find. To wit: PR Motorsports in Hayward closed a few years ago because the main and only mechanic had "an offer he couldn't refuse." When Mr. Mazda changed owners due to unforseen circumstances, well, I'll stop short there. What Auto Logic delivers is a world-class auto experience in every category: Customer Service, Communication, Attention to Detail, Value, Service and All-Around "Good Karma" vibe. My auto service need was fixing a leaky engine (from the aforementioned rebuild) that was LONG overdue. After an initial assesment, the estimate was up to a 2-day job and co$t wise, ended just being a little "teensy weensy" over the initial estimate price. I didn't care, because the constant calls to my cell phone regarding updates eased my concern. Timewise, the job took just a little over one day. That's it really. Only to say that I forgot how beautiful the drive is on H280 to and from my locale in the South Bay.

Roland referred me to a place to get a full CVT replacement for my 2015 Honda Civic. Price was beyond reasonable. Roland then met up with me to do maintenance for the rest of the car and now it runs like new! What sets Roland apart from everyone else is two things: 1. He's a mobile mechanic; if you got an emergency or need flexibility on location, he's your guy. He comes out to you. 2. He has YOU buy the parts, so money saved not being upcharged by the dealer/shops. You tell him the issue, he tells you what you need to get (including links to Amazon, rockauto, etc), and agree on the labor price I recommend his services to anyone that wants the flexibility and to go with someone knowledgeable/honest. He's also a funny guy
