My clutch went out and AAA towed my car here, this was the AAA tow truck driver's recommendation. Around a month later, it went out again. The mechanic said it needed some other parts and I was charged additionally for the repair. Then, it happened a third time, this time my girlfriend brought it in. The mechanic then told me he replaced everything with new parts and that it wasn't his fault--they did not charge me for the repair this time. He also said it must be my driving. As of today, I've been out of town for three months (this means I barely drove it) and my clutch is out again. Needless to say, they can't repair a clutch. Something isn't right here. I've been driving manual for about twenty plus years. So my girlfriend requested the receipts for the work done. Marwan said they are in storage and he'll look for them. I followed up last week on Monday, it's been just under two weeks, and he still hasn't gotten them. He told me to call Wednesday, I decided to give him until Friday, he wasn't in. I was told by someone he wasn't coming in. I called Monday, I was told he wasn't coming in. I called Tuesday, they said he was at lunch and call back in an hour. I called back in an hour and someone took my info and said Marwan will call me back. I still haven't received my call back. I will call again today to follow up. If he's a partner that works there but is never there, I really question the crediblility of this place. read more

Be careful!!! If you care the least amount of care about your car, never take it to Cheers!!! Marwaan is a big thief. Here is what i saw with my own eyes and what i heard with my own ears: I happened to be with him when he went to a shop nearby in san Bruno which does (re-surface) and (re-build) engine parts for Marwaan and his shop Cheers. Marwaan was going to receive a part for a customer car's ENGINE after it was checked and re-surfaced (supposedly). The guy in the shop told him that this part could not be re-surfaced and that it definitely need replacement, and that there is NO WAY it will work!!! He literally said i cannot do it. It won't work and the engine will FAIL. Marwaan answered so carelessly "Do it anyway, do it just to work even for a little bit, the customer needs his car he is giving me headache" the guy answered "alright I will do it but i am not responsible for anything regarding this job, and I will not give you any warranty. Marwaan said it is fine. And marwaan put this junk inside the poor customer's engine. I let you decide if you want to take your car to this thief who has such an evil heart. He makes thousands of dollars out of poor people's pockets and put junk inside their engine.... read more

Replaced a fuel filter that was changed recently, of course it didn't fix the problem, found out from an honest mechanic that the filter wasn't touched, dishonest, overcharged me big time and didn't even do it, had to go all the way to sacramento to see my trusted specialist only to learn that it was a faulty particulate filter sensor.. I have been going to this place for the past 3 years and their service and price has been excellent when compared to other rip offs in larger service centers. The owner marwan is an excellent person -he explains the problems, how it works etc and charges only if there are any fix works need to be performed, not for just checking. If there are zero stars that are available that is what I would give this place. I came to Cheers after all my lights came on. I left it there with Marwan and Mo. They later called and told me my transmission had to be replaced and I was looking at about 2,000 dollars. I said OK that's fine and asked when will it be done by. marwan said 4 days total. I left my car there on a Tuesday. He later called back and said maybe Monday or Tuesday. I said ok. But why the delay? He said because he needed certain parts to car that he did not have and had to go through a dealership in Sunnyvale. Now the price went up to 3,300. He kept saying he wants to do a good job he does better work then the dealerships and with the labor and cost would come out to 3,300. I had good,faith In this shop and trusted them with what they were telling me. Never doing that again! Come Monday he said it was not ready, Tuesday the same thing. Everyday after was: "oh tomorrow". Always coming up with a different excuse. I didn't get my car until a SATURDAY. This is the worst place that you can go. Not only that but them taking my car to sunnyvale and back on how many occasions they brought my car back with no gas and dirty as hell!!! Fuck this place I would never ever go back!! read more
