I was in the neighborhood when I was in need of caffeine. What honestly attracted me to this coffee shop was the name of it and how it was in bold letters. It must have triggered something in my brain because I immediately pictured myself drinking a cup of coffee in the middle of the forest.
When I walked in, I noticed that it was small but there was enough tables for me to sit and sip some coffee with a pastry. There were many selections including strawberry croissant, mini apple pie and cookies but I chose a pistachio croissant along with iced cappuccino. We were on a dog walk in Prospect Park nearby and needed a caffeine fix. So we found this place.
Sadly, very average coffee. Very average tomato pesto pastry. It had been heated, but was still cold in the center.
The outdoor seating was painful. On an awkward slant and made of metal, sitting on a metal plate, so very loud.
