This charming little coffee shop just opened (where there used to be a generic deli), and it is spacious and bright and has a lovely little atrium in the back, in addition to all the seating in the long main area.
My friends and I came by for coffee recently (tea for me), and the ladies behind the counter were very nice, and very accommodating. Around the table we had a latte, a cortado, a large black coffee, and the Montagne Bleue iced tea (honey, lavender, blueberry, rhubarb, black tea).
Everyone was happy with their drinks, and we enjoyed ourselves.
As we were walking out, I noticed that they have an EXTENSIVE menu beyond coffee and tea. In addition to other beverages like chai, juice, lemonade(s), matcha, and creamy things (like a maple salted cream top), they've also got smoothies, smoothie bowls, biscuit sandwiches, toasties, bagels (with no holes), omelettes, french toast and more. We'll certainly have to come back to try at least some of these.
One thing to note, if you're a sweaty mess (as I often am), sitting against the mirror in the atrium could lead to your friends pointing out you're a sweaty mess when you get up to leave. But that's probably just a me problem. read more
