We hired RK construction after interviewing 2 other contractors. To cut to the chase, if you are looking for a contractor, don't look further than RK Construction. In four weeks and one day they totally remodeled our kitchen, laundry room and three bathrooms. Not only that, the crew is amazing! Respectful, friendly, just nice and HIGHLY talented people. That's important when they will be in your home for a while. Rex added his strokes of creativity in many areas, things I was stuck on, he resolved. We are SO happy with our new home and cannot recommend RK Construction enough! read more

RK Construction recently did a kitchen remodel, half bath remodel, and flooring in my home. Rex and his crew are truly the best. This is the second time I have hired RK Construction and the only company I'll hire for future work. Rex is EXTREMELY responsive, enjoyable to work with, and he and his crew go above and beyond. I cried tears of joy multiple times over my new kitchen. The photos and video truly don't even do it justice. Rex was beyond patient with me (I am picky, what can I say? ) and as excited as I was to have the construction done, it was a little sad when he and his crew weren't around daily. These guys show up early every single day, they have integrity, and they care about the work they do. Thank you Rex and crew. You made me the happiest girl in the world! read more

We needed our shower remodeled due to a leak which we had let go for over a year. It had discolored the ceiling in our downstairs family room. Rex came out to give us ideas and an estimate of work that needed to be done, both to repair our family room ceiling and remodel our master shower. Immediately I felt that Rex was trustworthy and conscientious, and we gave him the job. Rex, Joe, Rudy and Nico were fast, (literally ran up and down the stairs) clean and courteous. Rex used quality materials, was super easy to communicate with via text, and was always on time. Several of our neighbors saw his work and are having him give estimates for their own home improvement projects. I highly recommend RK Construction for any project you may have. read more

Really great work. We had a shower that was leaking into the drywall, and the first company we hired did not do the job correctly. RK Construction came in and fixed it properly. It is waterproofed now and looks awesome. Rex and his crew were great. Highly recommend. I should add, that the entire shower and the adjacent drywall was torn out and redone with new tile, after being made waterproof. read more

Being a single female, Rex was true and on point! I had received 3 other quotes and he was the best one! I didn't even know he was the one that owned the company but he came out and gave the quote himself. He talked in lame man's terms and walked me through the whole process! Highly recommend him! He was patient with me regarding times (I work crazy hours) and even notified the neighbors that work would be done at my house! I will be using his company for future improvements! read more

We highly recommend RK Construction! We finally decided to remodel our master bathroom and decided to go with them. They did a beautiful job and we absolutely love it. They were very professional and respectful. They were also very helpful throughout the whole process. They always asked our opinion on how we wanted the tile design placed, mirror positioned and hardware installed so it was just how we wanted it. Rex and his team were always available and willing to answer all our questions even when it came down to choosing every detail and piece to our bathroom. We experienced a slab leak, a plumber cut holes in wall to reroute the pipes. There was a total of 14 holes, various sizes. I contacted RK Construction, requested a bid to perform drywall repair. Rex, the owner, arrived on time, and gave a fair bid. On the scheduled day, for the work to begin, Rex and his team, Nicko and Rudy arrived right on time. They immediately laid out all the drop cloths, and went to work. I have had drywall repairs before, so I can say this was top notch craftsmanship. Rex and his team are fantastic. Extremely professional and pro active especially when it comes to unanticipated issues. We contracted RK Construction for our master bath remodel. What an amazing experience! From the moment Rex came to our house until completion of the project, it went flawless! We had 4 other bids over the past 2-3 months to replace our kitchen backsplash, and all 4 of those companies had communication issues, inaccurate measuring issues, etc. Rex offered a fair price for the job, and job was completed on time and when he said it would be done. When my mother in law had water damage in her home, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to call Rex @ RK CONSTRUCTION complete all of the repairs! I can't begin to tell you how thankful we are for RK Construction! If you're in need of a reliable, quality, thorough, professional and a contractor who genuinely cares about his clients. LOOK NO FURTHER:) Rex was so patient as we battled with Nationwide Insurance for a fair estimate. He waited so patiently for us to get our insurance affairs in order so that he can start the job. His crew is amazing and Rex made sure that everything was fixed correctly and is always prompt. I also had RK construction repair a few things in my home and I was very pleased. They leave your house clean and make sure that everything is working and fixed correctly. Again, you will not regret choosing RK Construction as your contractor. He's as honest as they come and we truly appreciated him! read more

Based on the work that Rex and his crew had performed on rebuilding the drywall, texturing and painting, I decided to hire them again for installing some ceiling LED pot lights, ceiling fans and installing a door to an existing room. Our house didn't have attic access and there wasn't any preexisting wiring and anchors for the lights and fans. They are very good at what they do. Rex is the leader who regularly monitors the job done by his crew and accommodates any changes or alterations on the fly with a smile in his face. His crew love and respect him and they are happy to work with him. I think that speaks volumes for the work ethics and this is reflected in the quality and finish of their work. It has been nearly 4 months since the work has been completed and we are very happy with what they have done. The door has been installed flawlessly (no creaking noise or alignment issues). I would wholeheartedly recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Rex. read more

RK Construction - Bedroom without the door and partial wall - General Contractors Near Me

My husband and I had a major water leak in our home in the canyon and it was a headache but what do you expect for a 20-something-year-old house? By an angel watching over us, our plumber, Aaron (who I also wrote a review for), introduced us to Rex. First impressions mean everything--my husband met him, he was on time, so kind and courteous, reassured us and so honest. He helped us through the whole renovation and we gave him the keys to our home and let him have at it. He kept us up to date on all the repairs and within a week, finished everything with up to date photos while we were away. We were so amazed! He was prompt and so reliable, it is so hard to find a GOOD and TRUSTWORTHY man. Everything was done to perfection, every detail double checked. Our marble floors were tiled so beautifully and Rex picked out the perfect color to match our home, the paint matched exactly to the tee even though our old paint was discontinued, the staircase was repaired and stained so beautifully, the bar area replaced with a new sink fixture and he even stained it and touched it up for us even though he didn't have to! He had some extra stain and went around our kitchen and helped us touching the roughened places up and even went to our garage and help paint a yucky water spot on the ceiling when he didn't have to! There was a drain pipe in our yard that would always get clogged up and him and his team snaked it through to clear it for us, which was so touching that we are speechless from all his kind acts. These are the amazing things that make Rex a man of GOOD CHARACTER. Rex is a gem that will go the extra mile for you. His whole team is so professional, perfect and hard working. I told him that my mother sent him and his team to us. We had zero headaches with all the renovations because Rex was the perfect angel for us. read more
